Ambiance was great. Low light decent music in the background choice of seating inside or heated patio. Thae Z bar was recommended by holiday inn I was staying at and added bonus of a free appetizer. Spinach artichoke dip and pita chips we hot, delicious and plentiful. Waitress brought out 3 appetizer saucers, which middle was so dirty it looked unwashed. She quickly replaced the plates when we showed her I ordered a bourbon burger, cooked medium with loaded mashed potatoes. It was cooked to perfection very tasty. Loaded mashed potatoes was not very good to me. Wife had a Hawaiian pizza that as awesome and friend had a bacon burger with fries. Overall good relaxing experience after a 9 hr drive. Restrooms were clean well kept always a bonus in my book. Very convenient location to where we stayed and relaxing environment. read more

The food is terrible!!!!! The pizza would get under a 5 on the Dave Portnoy scale. Tastes like Chinese Buffet Pizza, it's really that bad. The "garbage fries" were 11 dollars and came with less fries than what comes with the over 16 dollar burgers. This place is overpriced and has absolutely terrible food. Never ever again. OMG, what a wonderful spot!! We came down for graduation for my son at Fort Leonard Wood, what a wonderful spot to unwind after a long day!! We enjoyed the company of the staff and food at the Z Bar and Grill for 2 nights and we wish we could make it a 3rd night!! Our 1st night we had Brigett for a server and she made you feel like family, the potstickers appetizer and southwestern chicken salad are amazing! The salad is a ginormous serving and amazing!! Their ranch dressing is homemade and incredible! We ordered 3 servings of the potstickers, they were a hit!! The 2nd night our server was Taylor, again, like a member of the family, sweet, polite, efficient and so welcolming!! This time we did the chips and salsa (Salsa was incredible), the eggrolls, um wow, yummy and the dipping sauce was soooooo good!! And let me not forget, Tiffany, our bartender, OMG, order the Mermaids Tail drink!! The best layer of flavors on the earth!! I spent a week in Mexico at an all inclusive resort and didn't come close to enjoying any of my drinks like I did the Mermaids Tail at the Z Bar & Grill. I am saddened that we don't have a 3rd or even 4th night in the area! This place made our night!! I would be back 100% if we get back to this area!! The staff and food is hands down wonderful!! Three things that are important to consider as I rate our experience tonight are food, service, and ambiance. The appetizers, drinks and meals were execptional! My wife had a drink called the Refresher. It had blue curaco and rum topped with pineapple juice. Very delicious! We each had a different sandwich and all of them were incredible. Service was top notch from when we walked thru the door until we left. Outstanding staff!! Ambiance wasn't quite a strength though. There was music softly playing in the restuarant - very pleasing. But combined with the karaoke pounding from right outside the patio and a waitress singing along when she came in and out.... wayyyy too much for a comfortable meal. Oh, one last note on the food. We ordered cheesecake to go. What we got was the most creative and amazing dessert I've had. Huge kudos!!! We'll be back the next time we pass through, but probably closer to lunch to avoid karaoke. read more

We are un town for the change in command ceremony. I had the munchies so we found this gem behind our hotel. JACKPOT!!. I went to Z Loft Bat and Grill for a girls date with my best friend and enjoyed it! Our server was Tiffany the assistant manager and she was amazing. By the way the Gojuchan chicken is to die for! She made some great recommendations and was so attentive and forward thinking of our needs. I really enjoyed the experience and the food and drinks! I was stuffed and had to take some home! I'm finally getting around to reviewing this place! We have been ordering from here for a few weeks now and after trying their shrimp & goat cheese salad, I definitely had to remember to leave a good review. First of all, this restaurant is attached to a hotel and it's actually nice and clean and very easy to find. I've never had an issue with their staff because they've always been very efficient and friendly. They always included napkins and silverware and everything that came with our meals. We started off ordering buffalo wings and a NY strip. I definitely don't recommend the steak because there was no flavor and it was over cooked from what I requested. However, their wings are pretty amazing and we will continue to order their wings haha. I plan on adventuring out to different flavors other than buffalo. I honestly don't think any other restaurant in town can beat their wings which is crazy because there are two wing places. Now getting to my shrill & goat salad.... wow was that delicious!!! It is a must try and ask for the goat cheese on the side if you're not feeling cheesy. I have nothing but good things to say about this location thus far so I highly recommend! read more

I heard rave reviews about this place and their wings, so a couple co-workers and I stopped in for an early dinner. The beer was cold and there was a great special for 10 wings so I ordered 10 Garlic Parmesan, my other workers ordered the Rueben and their dry rub wings. The Garlic Parmesan wings came out and were VERY greasy and I think a couple were under cooked, my co-workers rueben was HUGE and it too was very greasy to the point he could only eat half the sandwich. I am hoping this was just a bad night and I really would like to try this place again, I just won't order the Rueben or Garlic Parmesan wings. read more

This place just reopened and this was my first time checking it out. The food was delicious! Bourbon Burger was flavorful and juicy and fries were crisp and hot! Appetizer eggrolls were a nice add-on. Mixed drinks are on point! Limited food menu for now with basic bar/grill stuff but everything I had was great. Service was nice as well. In town on business and chose to eat here because of the proximity to my hotel. Pizza on the menu looked and sounded delicious. Unfortunately, I will never know. Tried to start with Southwest Egg Rolls but was told the distributor decides what is delivered and they sent Asian style egg rolls instead to rotate stock, to a pizza, burgers, and wing joint. Ordered a pizza and after waiting an hour was told the oven wasn't working and there was no timetable on how long it would take. Finally, the ambiance was off, in that the music that was playing consistently dropped the F Bomb song after song. I will say that my server, Kory, was excellent and he absolutely deserves better because it looks like management is just phoning it in. If you're in town, in one of the many hotels within walking distance, do yourself a favor, and drive the three miles to a better establishment. read more

Move over GK Pizza, there is a new pizza works with a fresh inspired taste and a balanced sauce on all three of the monsters we are! The dough, though not impressive to me, is considered good by my harder to please better half, and I agree. Better still are the sauces, all lip smacking and contemporary, like they were fresh made by a cook with panache. Overall, the three pies offered a taste of Saint Robert that I was unfamiliar with while also reckognizing great kitchen talent! read more

OK so...we came here based on location. It was close to our hotel and wanted to check it out since our hotel's front desk has signs and menus promoting this place. Maybe, it's their sister-hotel? I'm so glad we did though! I got their Grilled Tilapia Sandwich with Fries $9, which was seasoned perfectly and their fries are crunchy. Yum! My daughter enjoyed her Chicken Strip with Fries Kids meal $6 as well. The portions are huge! I barely ate half before I was stuffed. Plus, reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and brand new! I love the black chairs and tables! An added star for The Beatles Abbey Road framed poster! $2 draft beers during happy hour! The bar looked well stocked, but I'm not a big drinker so don't hold me accountable on that. *wink!* The Front Desk/Waitress was really nice, even if she had to verify if they were open for lunch. Just tried out the new Zloft Bar and Grill. We really liked it and would recommend it. The food was good but leans more to bar food then a restaurant. Both the food and drinks where well priced costing. You can dine inside or on the patio. The also have a nice fire pit out side with couches around it for 15-20 people. The inside is beautiful and feels like a place to take someone for a date. The only issue is it feels like they have a identity issues. Beautiful place that looks like a 4 star restaurant but the menu looks like it comes a bar. The alcohol drinks come in real glasses but water and soda comes in small plastic cups. The food did not seam to meet the level of the decor. It was good and cheap with over sized but I was left wishing they had a menu with less fried/greasy food on it. The addition of a stake would be huge addition or some more healthy options would be nice. The only real issue is the wait staff. Very friendly and nice but poorly trained. We never got silverware or napkins till we asked even after our food was at the table. Every waiter repeatedly stopped at our table offering to get us a drink or bring us our bill even though we had someone do it just a minute before. When we asked if we pay at the table or inside the waiter said she was new and did not know. Just basic issues that can be fixed and are not that unexpected from a new restaurant. A great place to eat and a great place to get a drink at a good price. read more

The place is a bait and switch...... I was in town for work and was on 16 hours without a meal cause I was busy with work. I was recommended this place by the hotel staff. I looked up reviews and pictures, the Philly looked great so I went in to order it. Took them damn near 30 min to make a simple Philly. This was our first time coming (we heard they had a great night life and food) and it did not disappoint. We chose to sit outside on their patio which was spacious and had fire pits for the nighttime. I had their rainbow trout special (all fresh!!) and it was so delicious. Everyone at my table ate all their food...not to mention the cold draft beers were icing on the cake (frosty glasses). Mitchie & Brittany were on point with excellent service! Was invited for a study session while I'm at school here at the Z Bar & Grill cause it was near to one of my classmates. Place was really empty when we arrived but still we had to go to the bar to get our drinks ordered. Waitress only showed up a couple times while we were there. The hotel looks great, but this bar did not match that. Food was ok, but cold. Waitress was never around. If it was busy I could get over that. Don't think I'll dine here again unless people in my class want to go back for some reason. They are of the same opinion as I am however, so I don't think that will happen. read more

Convenient location for those staying at ZLoft. First off to start the food here is on point! They make Keto friendly food and will adapt your food to what you want. I had a cheeseburger with bacon and the hamburger is made on sight and cooked to order. The salads are fresh and nice and cold! The house dressing is beyond words and is super good! The cooks and employees are super friendly and are attentive and I never had to ask for a refill. Why this place doesn't have a 5 star rating is beyond me. read more

I've been here a couple of times. This time it was pretty bad. Hair found in our food. A long piece of hair in the actual meat of the burger. We sent our food back. The manager came out but all she did was making jokes about it and NEVER apologized. She said "I guess we're gonna have to start wearing hair nets" Granted she didn't charge for the burger but she still should have tried to make up for it.
