I wasn't bloated and it almost look like I didn't get my teeth taken out because everything was done the right way. Dr. Maguire was my surgeon and he was terrific. I am scared when it comes to needles but he made it painless and quick! I got prescribed pain meds right away and now I can move and talk just fine! Called this office to get an idea of how much money my adjustment would cost. Receptionist said ZERO charge for doctor to evaluate. Booked an appointment & just expected their opinion & price estimate before any charge. (Beware they do run behind). In no way did MCKENNA/LASHGARI or ANY of his staff inform me they would be charging me. He adjusted 2 wires in 23 minutes (I watched the clock in front of me) & charged me $100!! Literally slightly adjusted 2 wires in 2 minutes & talked the rest of the time!! I was shocked & appalled! He never stopped & mentioned he would have to charge me. I paid & thought about it for a few days. I felt I was totally ripped off & had to call the office to discuss. One receptionist was incredibly nice & really understood where I was coming from. She even admitted that it was a lot of money & unfair he surprised me with a large bill. She said a book keeper or manger would call me back. A female manager called me back with an trashy attitude & said MCKENNA/LASHGARI would give me a refund but it would "probably take a month for a check to get to me". I didn't argue with her but I was still disgusted at her tone & what she said to me, & how it was going to take a month. She acted like I was wrong for speaking up for a $100 charge for 23 fricken minutes of MCKENNA/LASHGARI time!! She never once apologized that the office failed to tell me about their prices etc!! I would have never booked an appointment if I knew of their prices! Especially when I had 20 other orthodontists around me I could have used instead! How she had the balls to think I was in the wrong is disgusting. I feel terrible for any other person they pulled this with. I did not sign anything or say I would pay for services or materials I couldn't use yet they argued I owed a lab fee of $250 because they can't control what the lab does. They told my credit card company I had the partial and was satisfied. I filed a dispute with proof that it was not true and added they did not make an insurance claim which made no sense if I was satisfied--and filing one would be insurance fraud. A week before the dispute was decided Dr. Kim filed a fraudulent claim for an "oral evaluation," which it wasn't, to enable them to "win" the dispute and keep the $574 I paid in good faith. The oral eval was done and paid months earlier. Beware. A response was posted (on google) by Buckland Dental 9/12/24. Everything they accused me of, or implied, is a lie. Wicked people with a smile. Now I'll take the next step.

It was easy to make an appointment they are open for more that half a day on Saturdays. They are a children dentistry and a general family dentistry. On weekends they have a different doctor attending than the regular weekday doctor. It was clean. The wait was a little long 20 min over my appointment but that didn't bother me. They make you feel comfortable, they talk you through the procedure as they do it making sure your fine. I used to hate going to a dentist coz of all the traumatic experiences I've had but after my visit here I'm not terrified anymore.

The staff is generally nice, but prepare for an overwhelming number of texts and phone calls regarding upcoming appointments--far more than I have ever experienced. It can be incredibly annoying. Be cautious if they have questions about your insurance before an appointment, as you may feel like you're being stalked. When they need something, everyone is on high alert, but when you need assistance, it's a different story altogether. What I should have done was come here first before taking a chance. I would have read the other reviews and stayed clear.
