Me and my family enjoy all the meat we buy from more often retail stores because we get a better price and the flavor is better also.

Odd, as we were not in festive dress, but it was my partners birthday! He was cutting some amazing ribeye, and that's what we were looking for--he said he got us, and wow. Take a look at those steaks! Selection is good! But, a small place can't be expected to have 100s of items, but everything is carefully chosen and fresh. I'll be back for those oxtails for sure! Also, there was a very wonderful lady there with her fresh baked goods, not sure if that's a regular thing or or a pop up, but shout out to the strawberry pound cake. This is now going to be our regular spot for great meats! As far as price goes, I would say competitive with Gartner's and even some groceries, but this place is special, so you get what you pay for. Oh, and there's a big parking lot in the back, which is great on the busy street.

Ample sized, well lit, clean shop, bustling with activity. When we first entered we were the only patrons, but that changed within minutes. We purchased some ribeye steaks, bacon and a few different German sausages, all at a reasonable price. We will be back

Everything is hand cut, and superb. Many kinds of ribs that have been marinated and chicken. Pork galore! Love their baby backs. I could go on about every item, but you have to come and check it out yourselves. There's so much ! They have all kinds of homemade sausages and summary salads. Their Hawaiian Mac salad is really good. My favorite is the pea salad.! This time we bought a 7 1/2 pound brisket to try out our new smoker! We shall see about that. I wanted to post about how wonderful everyone in there is. They are helpful and kind. It's always packed before the holidays and there is patience to go around and always a smile. Kudos to the Mount Hood pie company. We bought a Keylime pie and oh my it is so delicious. Looking forward to trying a different flavor. Thank you, Gartner's for all of your years of service and delicious eats!

I purchased some of everything, including a pie, and everything we've tried so far has exceeded my hopes. The best part is the products are sourced fairly close. No meat from Australia here. The meats here were incredible, and the complimentary soups served in the cutest little teacups was a thoughtful touch! We ordered a unique apple sliced salad topped w blue cheese, of course oysters, tartare, and my very first filet mignon! My partner at the time insisted we order it, and I'm so glad we did - it completely lived up to the hype. So tender and juicy! If you're visiting, don't skip this. The restaurant is intimate with limited seating, so be sure to make a reservation. The dim lighting creates the perfect date night atmosphere, and the aroma from the grill is intoxicating! Every detail made the evening feel special, and I'm so happy we got to spend it together here. Thank you to the staff for making the evening unforgettable!

The restaurant…read morehas an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere and I appreciated thoughtful touches like providing toothpicks in the restroom. On our first visit we had a reservation and were seated at a table. After ordering, patrons are served a complimentary leek soup in an espresso size cup. I wish it were on the menu because it is one of the best things I've ever tasted. The flavor is incredibly rich! We ordered the clam chowder, halibut, maple glazed carrots and tres leches cake. The clam chowder's presentation was nicely done but nothing special in taste. It came so highly recommended on Reddit and many other diners ordered it but neither my party nor I cared for it. The halibut was good but didn't stand out and the maple glazed carrots weren't to my taste. What completely won us over was the tres leches cake. It is one of the most delicious and most memorable desserts we've ever had. Every layer complemented the next perfectly creating an incredibly balanced dessert that wasn't overly sweet with different textures. We couldn't stop talking about it afterward. It was one of the reasons we decided to give the restaurant a second shot. After our meal I mentioned to our server that we weren't sure if we'd ordered the right dishes since we weren't thrilled with the food especially with how popular the restaurant is. He explained that it's primarily an Argentinian steakhouse and suggested returning to try the meat dishes. On our second visit we arrived at opening without a reservation. There was plenty of seating but since we didn't have a reservation we were seated at the bar. I didn't mind seated at the bar but the bar stools were extremely uncomfortable, almost torturous. Unfortunately, it was too hot to sit outside. Midway through dinner a machine, maybe a dishwasher, was turned on behind the bar. It was loud and the vibrations could be felt. This time we ordered the beet salad, cheese empanada, beef empanada, two filet mignons and the lamb shoulder. The beet salad was a disappointment. It consisted of large overly soft chunks of beets with what tasted like a basic grocery store salad dressing. For a restaurant of this caliber I expected more. Neither of us enjoyed the cheese empanada but we both liked the beef empanada. We also ordered two filet mignons cooked the same way. Both arrived more done than requested and one way more overcooked than the other. They were also on the salty side, though both were very tender. The lamb shoulder, which our server had already warned us about before we ordered, ended up being dry and tough. The chimichurri served alongside the savory dishes was also heavier on onions than I prefer. Overall, the service was excellent, and the complimentary leek soup and tres leches cake were truly outstanding. Unfortunately, despite two visits, the main dishes we ordered didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation for us.

The atmosphere is buzzing even in the small hours, making it the perfect sanctuary for a late-night craving. It's the kind of place where the smell of charcoal and cumin hits you the moment you walk through the door, setting the stage for a solid, no-frills feast. The skewers are the undeniable stars of the show, especially the chicken skin, which was rendered down to a perfect, fatty crisp. Both the lamb and beef skewers were hit with a heavy-handed dusting of traditional spices, giving them that essential kick without overpowering the tender meat. Each bite had that authentic charred flavor that only comes from a high-heat grill, and they paired perfectly with the rest of the other food we ordered throughout the night. The absolute standout, however, was the eggplant in aluminum foil. It arrived bubbling in a pool of garlic-infused oil and soy, so incredibly soft that it practically melted off the skin. It provided a rich, savory contrast to the smokiness of the meat and is easily a must-order for anyone visiting. Between the great food and the reliable hours, this has officially become my new go-to for an after-hours meal.

Going into the food, the flavors were definitely all there! All of the skewers we got were amazing! The cucumber salad was also a huge highlight of the meal as the sauce from it tasted wonderful! I would highly recommend pairing whatever you get with their cucumber salad! I did have to drop it down a star as the food didn't feel very filling for the price and the music/vibe of the place felt off for having come by around 5/6pm. But later in the night, it seems like a perfect place to visit for some food and drinks! I would recommend coming by after dark for sure!
