I'm going to South America later this year so I'm trying to find an inexpensive light weight waterproof jacket or poncho. They have a number of jackets that are waterproof & windproof but I find spending anywhere from $160 - $300 for a single use jacket excessive. I'm thinking maybe a poncho that can roll up into a tiny pouch & be attached to a carabiner might be a good idea & far less expensive. This would also save luggage space?

Plenty of products on the shelves instead of directing me to a web site; clean fitting rooms; and I really like the rack outside the fitting rooms for un-purchased items. It helps eliminate any fitting room clutter. Two attendants at the registers w little to no wait. The key for me is acknowledgement as I walk in, while shopping and at the checkout; eye contact and sincere effort to find product, even an alternate product. Great selection of Kuhl products! What line? The place was empty! The same day I had them deny a return because they claimed my membership was flagged for fraud. That's it! I'm done. I've been a loyal Arc'teryx fan for decades, working outdoors year-round, but until recently there wasn't a local store nearby. Being able to try things on in person makes a huge difference, especially since sizing can vary depending on layering. The team here is always welcoming, helpful, and patient--happy to offer suggestions and grab different sizes without hesitation. The store itself is a bit "dangerous" (in the best way!) because everything is so well made and tempting for every season. Between their excellent warranty, trade-in program, and annual cleaning events, the value really stands out. If you want high-quality outdoor gear that lasts for years, this is the place to go. Now that there's a local store, I don't shop anywhere else.
