He did great then "34 mins later " still noone with a key to unlock it ? 10 more minutes later wd see about 15 employees congagrating all of tgem on there cell phones an the original worker that we had asked for assistance is doing his job an glances over an says still nobody yet? We said nope he doesnt have a key but helps us again an finally we get help an he was very rude, an drug his feet the whole way to the register an plopped it down an said there ya go an took off. I've stopped at West Street Grocery a few times - the owner is an Asian man (the only person I've ever seen working there). Not friendly, unsmiling, but I thought "whatever, just getting ice...or a bottle of water". Today however, I walked my 1 year old Canaan Dog a mile and a half to West Street Grocery; bought exactly $19.75 worth of stuff. Asked the owner if I could have a small paper coffee cup (to pour bottled water for my dog). He rang it up for 50¢! A bit shocked I said "really?" and he replied "you buy for you, I no charge. you buy for dog, I charge." I'm like seriously? I just spent 19.75 in here! He just shrugged. I added (because by this time I'm RIGHTEOUSLY indignant) "honestly, with another convenience store right across the street (Zatterburgs), I'm surprised you'd actually charge me anything.....I live here, I stop here, why on earth would you charge me for a small paper cup?" His response? "You no like, don't come here." This is a veeeeery small town. And most of us have dogs. DO NOT SHOP HERE. You can get drinks, chips, ice, etc. across the street (literally about 15 yards). Appalling.
