Staff are very friendly and always say hi when you're checking out - last time I left the store with my family, the lady at the door even said we dressed nicely. I needed to update my review. It's been over five years since I last reviewed it. Which is just not fair to this perfect Walmart. Do you hate the people of Walmart? Try this location! You'll find none of that! Is Woodland a crazy-person free town? I'm not sure! But in all seriousness, this location is QUIET, and NOT CROWDED! That's hard to come by with Walmart. But if every Walmart were like that, it wouldn't be Walmart. I think they have a pretty good selection, as well. A nice medium between the smaller stuff in Longview, and the bigger in Vancouver. I find more here than Longview, but can still maybe be missing something until Vancouver. Which, doesn't make sense. But I've gotten past it, and you can too! Employees can make or break a Walmart experience. Luckily, they're all great here! They're nice, friendly, fast, and work hard. I never see empty slots for things, or things not out despite being released already. I'd exclusively go to this Walmart, if I could. But I live so close to either of the Longview ones, so it just doesn't make sense. (Plus sometimes Vancouver has what I need.) read more

Did a family shopping trip on Sunday 7/30/23 (YELP only let's you do a minimum of 1 star what a joke) I needed to get my finger sized at the jewelry counter & I asked 5 "team leads" to help that were all huddled up in a circle & all walked away from me. My boyfriend has been hinting about proposing to me , but I have no idea what my ring size i am to be honest. This was supposed to be a special day for me, but instead I left crying because of how poorly I was treated. Make the poor customer service stop here , every time I go in , it's a horrible experience. Not recommending my friends and family to give this branch any business. To the managers - your team leads are the reason you are failing here & you managers are never to be found on the floor - I would recommend being present with your employees at all times. read more

I visited this Walmart in woodland since it is close to my new home in Ridgefield, Washington. I was pleasantly surprised on how clean and organized the store was. The location is off the 5 freeway with easy access Absolutely love this Walmart. In lieu of this COVID pandemic they have kept everything quasi normal. They disinfect the carts as you grab one and they have separated the entrance from exit. The best part is nobody is panicking or hoarding stuff. Some workers have masks on and some don't. Just like the shoppers. I am heading out of state in the morning and wanted to grab some stuff for my kids since I'm told Las Vegas is crazy with people. read more

I doubt they check their reviews but I will leave an experience I had for y'all to read.. I was checking out at the check lane and one of my items rang up a different price from the clearance tag. Tailor came to help the cashier and told me that I couldn't buy it at the clearance price and tried to peel the sticker off saying someone put this sticker on there. I immediately said there are 3-4 other same items with this same clearance tag on the clearance rack and that I would be willing to go grab them to show her I didn't put it on there and she walked off to find the items. Came back and told the cashier to give me the price. After all that, I double check my receipt and realized I was double scanned on the item they just priced changed. Ok, easy fix right? Just go to customer service. I see Tailor at the customer service area, like yay okay she just helped me. I explained to her that I wanted her to double check my receipt to make sure I didn't get double scanned and that one other item the cashier had already fixed. Then she basically repeated what I said and I said yes. Then I said again, yes just look to see if that item is scanned twice bc that's what I see. She looked at me and said "no, you're not understanding me". And I had said "no, you're not understanding me". I can see she was getting frustrated but like WHY?? I just wanted her to look at the receipt and reimburse my double scan. No smile, no nothing, just attitude. Yikes. She finally just scanned the receipt and reimbursed me. I apologized for the inconvenience bc it was still early in the day. Not how I want to start off someone's morning.. she blatantly said have a good day, rolled her eyes and walked off to talk to the manager. Quite the cheery experience that day. Hopefully she's in a happier mood next time I have to return something. read more

Busy as usual at this location. We ran in for a few items and were able to locate all of those item easily. Prices seemed to be fair and competitive. No lines at the self checkout area, lines for the checkers was average. We were able to scan our stuff and move on quickly. The parking lot was full and hard to find a close parking spot. They are adding new buildings to the far side of the parking lot. read more

Service is terrible, every time I go in there looking for something the shelves are bare, lines out the door even at self check out... How about removing the people standing at the door checking receipts like I'm at Costco and put them behind a cash register! I refuse to show my receipt to someone standing at the door after I just stood in line and had a cashier ring me out!! read more

I recently moved to the area from Kelso so I started using this Walmart. I've shopped here every week for over a month and not a single time have I had met a nice employee. Each cashier I ask "how are you?" With a smile, and I get "good." Zero customer service. I see employees standing around bsing in every department. An employee was asked to open a cash register and replied with "why can't so and so do it." And was rude to me the entire time. I was wandering around a specific section looking for something, 3 employees just stood there and watched me. Said nothing. Will be taking my business to Safeway. Might cost me more but oh well read more

We love this store, the employees are kind and so helpful. They go out of their way to assist customers and always treat everyone with respect. The employees make this store a better place to shop at. We live about 10 minutes from here and come here often. They always keep the store clean and are fast whenever we do grocery pick up. read more

i would not recommend this walmart to anyone! the last two times i got groceries from here i paid for an expired jar of teriyaki sauce, and some other expired items like sauces and frozen goods. this has happened to my mother too- so please check your items before you buy! very disappointed at how covid was being treated too- masks are not enforced, almost every time i come to this walmart- at all times of the day, there are people not wearing masks and workers just run by them or stare the other way. + there are not many sanitizing options, like sanitizer at checkout or wipes for the cart. after the snow many parking spaces were unaccessible, mostly the spots closet to the entrance. very disappointed will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I think we ended up finding the best street name that any Walmart resides on. Just hearing the guy's voice on the GPS say it (when we got back on the freeway after leaving here) was a nice relief towards the end of a road trip from Seattle back to Portland. I'm not sure how long this Walmart has been here, but it seemed relatively clean as it was well kept, at least in the areas I was in. Mainly, up front and nowhere else. It basically was just a place to grab a quick energy drink, only because they have Xyience, and of course use the restroom. For others, they have a Subway, and even a hair salon. I don't go to any Walmarts enough to know if that's common or not, but with a population of approx 5,000 in this city I'm sure it's heavily frequented. read more

The hair saloon here is absolute garbage. Today I went in to get a hair cut and the women cut 2 Inches off my hairs length. I specifallt hold told her not to touch the length of my hair. A little disappointed in my latest experience with the pharmacy - they're amazing, but recently had a Rx for my dog and after checking the prices for this particular medication it's anywhere from $2-$3 a pill. My pup was Rx an anti fungal and needed 15 pills. I went to check out and was told my total was $150. I was blown away. I was immediately able to find the exact same medication online at Pet360 for $30. I'll be double checking prices before just assuming they'll have the best rate. read more

This is the most unprofessional Walmart I've been to by far ! I went there to return 3 rugs I got and instead of them refunding me they recharged me . I was not given a receipt , but figured it would be fine. I noticed the charge instead of refund and went to the customer service desk where I was told there is nothing they can do to help me to call my bank . I asked for a manager , I showed her the charge instead of refund and she said also there is nothing we can do call the bank. I said that They only looked into their system and didn't take my word at all. I express how it was shitty it felt and then TO MY SHOCK and with a line full of people behind me and a bag full of groceries in my cart, she asked me to leave . I'm still shook and in shock . I was double charged and then when I asked for a refund was asked to leave . She used me saying a curse word to get the problem gone instead of trying to help a customer . This manger treated me is such a way I will never be back to this Walmart . I will also be cancelling my Walmart credit card. This whole experience has changed how I feel about shopping at your stores . I will never give money to a company who supports managers that treat the customers like this . read more

I'll be honest, I typically shop at various Wal-mart because of the selection and prices, and despite their customer service. This Wal-mart was different. The 5 employees I ran into during my shopping visit on June 23rd, 2018 were all friendly, courteous and enthusiastic. In my years of shopping at Wal Mart I have lowered my standards in the area of customer service as well as friendly service, but these guys are at an all time low. The customer service dept. needs a major overhaul. I am currently on hold with them and have been bounced around because no one seems to want to answer my coupon policy question. A few weeks ago I had a Costco clip coupon for ALL detergent, and this Wal Mart honored the coupon, now when I call and speak with Bonnie in CS, she said they do not take competitors coupons. I asked if they have double coupon days, and the "manager" said, " What is that?" Never buy a phone or anything at Walmart in Woodland WA. Why because they do not stand behind their own products. The item in particular was purchased through the Electronics dept. and Kayla was the very pleasant and amiable, but third party vendor through AT&T that I was transferred to by staff in the store. Almost like the car dealerships, I was handed off to her. There is a 2 week return policy at the store. I was in the process of moving to the area. The phone would not work and I was trying to get it to work but the time was running out on the 2 weeks. When I went to take it back, again shifted to the 3rd party vendor. Who was off for 2 days. Now past the 2 week return limit and Walmart. They say I am now not their responsibility? They are not responsible for items purchased at their Store! So why shop there at all! They told me I have to deal with AT&T, again being handed off, and AT&T is going to charge me about $300.00 or $400.00 phone that I returned to Walmart Plus an early cancellation fee of how much because there was a contract length, all this I am supposed to pay for a phone bought at Walmart and returned, that never worked. Recently moved to Woodland. I bought a vacuum and it quit working after a couple times of using it. Still had box and all paperwork. I just wanted to trade it for another one. I was told this Walmart does not return items over a certain dollar amount and to take it to another Walmart for the return. I was told it is just their store policy! Then I recently had my daughter take back a car seat and 2 table clothes I had bought and decided not to use. (My son already had bought the needed car seat.) My daughter was told they would not take back the car seat because the box had been opened. We actually bought it with it already opened! The people at this Walmart do not care about customer service. Here is a couple of examples: One night I was unable to do in exchange because their customer service was closed. Most of the times if I am greeted by their employees I'm referred to as "man".. Even my 10-year-old knows this is not proper. The other day I asked their electronics dept. employee if they price match from Amazon. He said "I don't think so" and asked me to go to the customer service to check. I asked him to call them so I didn't have to walk but he insisted it was better that I go talk to them. I then looked up their policy online and showed it to him and told him they did a price match amazon. Finally what they did it to me was last night.. It was about 10 o'clock at night after I grabbed the things that I wanted and when I went to go pay I noticed there was about 15 people in line, and only one cashier working. Another customer in line talked to another employee and apparently there were no other cashiers available. I am done with this place. I will keep it local and support the other smaller stores that have great customer service here in Woodland. read more
