I recently visited Columbus Car Audio (Morse Rd.) to inquiry about issues I was having with a 600rms amplifier installation that had been done by another shop. From start to finish, their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were exceptional. When Jay came outside to inspect my systems wiring, he immediately noticed that the other shop had failed to secure the wire to my battery properly--it actually came undone just from him slightly touching it! Jay quickly wrote up a service agreement, and got my vehicle into their garage for the installers to give everything a thorough inspection. They properly fastened the cable to my battery terminal, checked the ground connection, and cleaned up the messy cable management left by the other shop. I just had a baby and desperately needed my car windows tinted to shade my sons little face from the sun in the back seat. Luckily, I came across an ad for the Black Friday deal that Columbus Car and Audio was running and signed up right away! It was the best deal on premium tint I could find anywhere around and the business is less than 1.5 miles from where I live off of Morse road. They were able to schedule me the same week, I dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready by early afternoon. Paid in advance, got to choose my tint grade when I dropped off my keys, and the associate carefully explained what grades were legal, and recommended for my needs. Every employee was super helpful, kind and polite, and they explained the after-care carefully. The tint job was extremely professionally done, and looked great! The tint has a lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling and wrinkling, however, I don't think I will experience those things because the product they used was quality and they really know what they are doing. Even the little tiny window sections between the back door and the rear window were tinted perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend this business if you need window tint, rims, remote start, or audio equipment installed in your vehicle. They have a big showroom with lots of in-store options for speakers, mods, rims etc. to look at and browse through too! read more

This is the best place in town for window tint. I've used them twice now and the window tint is always done perfectly. There is not much more to say, because they are skilled at the task and don't cut corners on the process. I've found they carry good products and the installers are top notch. Trust me when I say this, because I tried a competitor in town only to regret the choice. I had to go back 3 times to let them try and correct the numerous issues including significant light reflection at night, which made it difficult to see. Columbus Car Audio did it right on the first trip and effectively bailed out the competitor's attempt. CCA is now my go-to and I'll visit them first for future work. I don't see the value here: Many business seem to state that this is a landmark business in Columbus. From what I saw today, I didn't see how. Don't get me wrong the people that work here are courteous. They are very staight foward , but I didn't get the, we really want your business vibe. Any how their prices for stalling car audio I thought we're extremely expensive, and I thought they broke down pricing was can of halh-hazard, he picked a bunch of numbers in a calculator and said that your price, Instead of like Best-Buy when they gave me a print out and detail of the cost of the wireing harness, labor and accessories, so it does not appear as some radom number. It stuck me as off when the sales person said to me "You want this installed in the car you just walked out of" I was like wow these guys are trained like secret service agents" But it also realates to some of the other post I read, Where customers were treated diffrently based on what cars that had. It's difficult to rate this business because although they pay attention to you, You can tell the store is built for people who are ready to buy know. I Think they close too early, but they tmdo advertise specials on their website. I only bumped up to 3 because there was a rep that was courteous to give a Farewell, But i won't be back because they don't seem to be a very competitively priced business. I also came back to this business and I had to lower my yeah the people are here don't seem to be knowledgeable about their competition and when they do they talk bad about the competition sales representative ask me why I did not go there and I told him Best Buy offer free installation and his response was that you're not certified and it may be somebody who sells washing machines that installs car kits is absolutely not true. because have their own installation Center and that's all they do instead of being upfront and saying they are completely either completely clueless about the competition or they act like they don't know anything to sell to make themselves look better when I was in sales I knew everything about my competition and I had 10 competitors there's not many competitors in the Columbus Market you would think they'd be more knowledgeable and or honest. What's even more interesting is Best Buy says they get a lot of customers that come in to fix problems that they've had from car audio I'm not sure if that's true or false but what I do know is that they installed my radio without a hitch and the sons of works great for $200 less than what I was going to get charge here. read more

Although the process was expensive it was less the cost of 4 new Lexus rims. I did receive my vehicle before the original promised date. I Scheduled a simple tint job to be done at Columbus car audio. I've had other cars done here previously and have been happy with the work. Apparently like most things, quality and customer service have gone the way of the t-Rex...and the quality of representation in the shop is on par with the representation and intelligence our nation is being lead by. I was told the car would be ready between 4-6...the shop closes at 6...call at 5, car isn't done. I live 30 min from the shop so I figure to make it there by the time they close I'll just leave at 530 to pick up the car. I Show up at 6 and am told they have someone new working on it and he has been having some trouble with the car. And one of the rear windows...you're telling me someone is working on my car that can't figure out how to install tint on the rear window of a golf hatchback!?!? 1st of all don't leave my car in the hands of a noob without someone who can show him how to work around problems. And if it's taking him this long, pull him off the job and get someone on the project that has an iq higher than the number of digits on theihands that can do the work. A tint job shouldn't take someone 9 hrs to complete. I could have gone and bought the tint and figured out how to do it myself in 9 hours. It's a damn hatchback not an 18 wheeler filled with replacement windows that all need to be tinted. It's unacceptable and will not be returning or recommending this bro hub tint shop to anyone in the future. read more

We looked at head unit options and I liked the feature of the Kenwood DDX9006XR with HD radio and wireless Apple Car Play. The head unit was pretty outdated and no firmware upgrades were released anymore. Wanting to start modding my new ride and bring it into the new century, I emailed Jayson about some options. I purchased a trifold bed cover for my new truck, It has broken twice in the same hinge. CCA said they would replace it and 3 months later they did. I thank you for that. Upon taking my truck into their shop to get the bed cover replaced I guess they do a 21 point inspection of your vechicle. When the truck was completed with the bed cover I left only to discover they had broken my dash display I guess by pushing to hard on it. I sent them pictures, emailed them, called them. I spoke with a guy Named Ryan who said he would look into it. 3 weeks later all I got was crickets. No missed calls, no email, no TXT. Nothing. So I placed a bad review on Google and wow my phone rang. It was Ryan telling me how this is a know problem with these trucks. They were not going to fix it. It wan't broke when I took it in and 30 minutes later it came back broken. Truck is 3 yrs old with 22k miles. My 400th review deserved a business worthy of five stars. I have used CCA multiple times over the years. Stereo install, radar detector, window tinting, and most recently remote car starters. I suppose I can only review the service aspect of this business. All the equipment that they provide is manufactured by someone else. The 100% guarantee of replacing, or making something right, is still about the service. When I purchased my most recent auto, I knew I wanted a remote car starter for work purposes. I went in to the store, and discussed my needs. Distance, duration, quality. I added on rear defrost and seat heater start options. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Drop off and completion of service was exactly at the time promised. Four years later and everything works perfect still. Fast forward to my wife's new vehicle, and she wants a remote start also. Just before I make my way over to go shopping for her device, a friend tells me about their black Friday deals. We put off the October project for a month. What a great deal it was. Unit and installation $79. It also came with two remote fobs. The only addition was the harness for her make and model of vehicle. There was a slight hiccup in the completion time, as no one called us to tell us it was ready. We almost missed the close of business Saturday until Monday morning. The work is always neat and factory installed looking. No dangling wires, peeling window film, scratched interior, or malay of loose wiring inside the engine compartment. I have recommended them multiple times, and will continue to pay for the right job guaranteed the first time. I went there with the intent of spending around 700-800 dollars on upgraded audio equipment and installation. The staff didn't seem to know what they where doing, I had explained (in detail) the issues I had and what I was looking for. Instead of giving advice and quotes like I was looking for, they trash talked what was left in my car of the audio equipment (battery, wiring, switches). I was there for nearly an hour looking at there way overpriced items before I gave up and went elsewhere. I was completely blown off when some older guy rolled up in a Mercedes-Benz with a Botox girlfriend. They instantly helped him as soon as he arrived, I've never been so insulted in my life. I guess they just don't want money from someone who's not filthy rich..I was okay spending more than what the products where worth for quality service and installation, but instead I was ignored.
