This review is for the Smokey River tobacco Shop located on the casino property. I've been looking for a shop with reasonably priced menthol cigarettes. Friendly employees, great service and great price on both Signal and Native cigarettes and vapes! They also sold Newports but at a much higher price. Still much better than other places. Many other Native American smoke shops have chosen to price gouge customers and I no longer give then my business. It's a drive but saves me from having to go to Tahoe I didn't buy too much as I wanted to try different flavors but next time I'll stock up. Thank you

Stopped in for the first time for breakfast after a long drive. We missed breakfast by 5 minutes (till 11am) so we passed. They do have 3 items for "breakfast all day" but none that I liked such as eggs Benedict or a burrito. I was surprised that it didn't smell like cigarette smoke!! It was very clean inside and not crowded. Bathroom was very tidy! I put in 20 bucks in a machine as I was leaving and lost it in 5 minutes and remembered why I don't care to gamble! It looks like they have newer slots if that's your thing. They also have a hotel on site with a cafe and full bar and self serve coffee/soda area. I probably won't be back unless I try their buffet on a weekend. Employees are friendly!

Are you looking for a casino you can become family with? Look no further, Colusa is your new home Casino! I found out about this place maybe two years ago because I'm an avid bingo player. That's what originally drew me. The hall is huge, very well organized and clean. The caller has the best caller voice- Image a smooth operator voice! The workers, literally make the whole experience fun. I've never been so welcomed before at a bingo hall or casino! They always seem to remember me and I only go 1-2 times a month! Steve and Leslie always take care of me and make sure I have all my bingo needs met. Even the people at the counter that sell you the bingo games/card try to work with you to get the best deal in the most cards within your budget. But the star of the show is my executive host. What really finalized my relationship with Colusa Casino was getting a personalized letter in the mail from Marcos. I was genuinely impressed that envelope was handwritten. To me that very personal touch that I appreciate. I've been in communication with him about four months and every time I have a question, he responds within an hour or two. He always books my rooms & always hook me up. Marcos is extremely professional and enthusiastic. I look forward to coming every month to say hi to him and all the people that work here. If you're able to connect with him and get an executive host tell him Malissa sent you! Now for the rooms - it meets all requirements that I need. I always appreciate the Fiji bottled water and the two little bags of candy that are in the rooms complementary. Like any hotel they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand wash. I prefer to stay on the second or third floor because the first floor in the bathroom have a slight sewage smell. But I have a hypersensitive nose. I've never came across a dirty room or dirty towels. I've stayed here about 4 to 5 times and I enjoy every time. Overall, I truly enjoyed this hotel and casino and I always look forward to coming up here every month. I enjoy the promotions and giveaways, and they truly take care of their guest. Can't wait to come up next month! Thank you Colusa!!

My first time to Colusa on the bus, it was 20.00 for me and my daughter was free since it was our first time. We received 30.00 free play which was Awesome! This Casino seems small, but it was a nice visit. I won 300.00 on a penny machine. The bingo hall was small considering other bingo halls but they did have a good size snack bar ( Chicken club sandwich is good but served cold ). The chicken nuggets w/fries was really good, they gave plenty condiments too. Overall I had a great trip to Colusa! Came home 800.00 richer lol

I won over 100x my bet!

I've been to so many casinos in the Northern California area and I have to say, this casino has its differences. If they operated the same as larger casinos, there wouldn't be any reason to go. So, let's review what's good and what's not so good. Good: I love the self service soda and coffee. It's very clean (not many smokers there). When I left, my clothes didn't smell bad. Restrooms were very clean and didn't smell at all. They had a good amount of the popular slots and some good old fashioned slots that other casinos no longer have. I enjoyed those slots. Parking was easy. Staff was friendly. If you know what you're doing, it's very possible to win. In my opinion, it appeared that their return to player percentage is higher than other casinos. Keep in mind that there's no guarantee you will win but I still felt like I got something back. Not so good: Their high limit room had zero electronic slots. All were mechanical reels. It was super tiny and wasn't impressive at all. It looked more like a dungeon. When I was there, there were no card dealers so I couldn't play any card games. The whole place appeared to be understaffed, so service was slow. There were no music, no announcements, no promotions. It was just quiet except for the slot sounds.

Nice clean casino they are smoking but it wasn't smoke filled very nice place to go to.

Went yesterday I go to the most California casinos in the Sacramento area and it is one of the best I've ever been to. I play only slots and they had a great selection. They gave me a $15 free game play right off the bat. Did fairly well cuz there was my first time there I definitely will be returning. Recommend going up the I-5 instead of a 64. Plus I got gas for 3.84 a gallon. Will be. Returning.

Ask the Community - Colusa Casino Resort

Is the casino open, Do they still have the seafood buffet on Fridays?

It's open now, unfortunately they do not have the seafood buffet anymore! Instead, they've added a upscale bbq restaurant.

    What are check-in times?

I think anytime between 3pm-1159pm like most resorts/hotels. They may charge an extra $100 convenience fee if need to come in earlier than 3pm due to COVID to deep clean/sanitize and that is if there are rooms available.

Is the casino as large as rolling hills casino?

It's about the same size but more room to walk around, walk ways aren't as small.

Mom's Mother's Day gift was tickets to see Filipina vocalist Morissette Amon's June 13th sold-out one night only performance of her Ember Tour. From the event description: Morissette is a Filipino singer and songwriter nicknamed in the press "Asia's Phoenix". She gained notice as a runner-up in TV5's Star Factor at age 14 and made her theatrical debut in 2012 as Mitchie Torres in Repertory Philippines' adaptation of Disney's Camp Rock. She received wider notice as a semi-finalist in the first season of ABS-CBN's The Voice of the Philippines in 2013. In 2015, Morissette released her self-titled debut album. It was certified Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry. The accolades for Morissette's music and performances have included two Awit Awards, an Aliw Award, six PMPC Star Awards for Music, and 38 Wish 107.5 Music Awards, the most such awards of any artist. With ticket purchase, they did provide an optional promo code for 15% off a room reservation valid only for the night of the event if you were interested in staying over. Tickets were non-refundable and managed through an Etix account. Delivery of tickets wasn't available until 5 days before the event, and could be printed or added to phone's digital wallets. From the parking garage elevator, you did have to walk through the gaming area and past the eateries to get to the Event Center. Outside the security checkpoint, the closest restroom that I saw/used only had 2 stalls. Once you get past the security, then the Event Center and ballrooms have their own bathrooms. Ushers were good showing you to your section/row/seats. These were metal cushioned interlocking chairs, no armrests, seat number labeled on top. We were in SEC 5, Row BB, Seats 61 and 62. This wasn't bad at all to see the stage, plus they had the big screens on either side too, although unless you're in a group, unfortunately you can't choose your neighbors. 2-hour show, no intermission, one artist outfit change, acoustics were alright, special effects and lighting were cool. As I mentioned before, policy says no photography or recording but even though we got there when doors opened at 7pm, there was no general announcement/reminder before the show actually started. So, for the opening Tagalog song, many, many folks were recording video. The ushers and security swooped in, pointing and making big "X's" with their arms to get people to stop. At one point, security escorted Morissette down/through the audience aisles during a song and then fans were again taking photos and video and selfies as she passed by. I wish they would at least allow maybe the encore song or something, especially in this modern/social day and age, or a designated photo op. It was great to catch Morissette live for an unforgettable night of powerhouse vocals and pure emotion! She did maybe 4 English songs, a couple Bisaya songs, and the rest were Tagalog. Her 15 years in the industry were well-represented and songs ranged from romantic ballads like Akin Ka Na Lang and Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw to Secret Love Song, Defying Gravity, I'll Be There, and Rise Up. Jo Koy is also coming August 21-22, but those are also sold out!

Hard Rock Live [Wheatland CA]…read more This review is for the concert venue I recently attended. It was my first time seeing a concert at the Hard Rock Live. The venue is inside the casino and the nearest casino entrance is on the north side of the property. Free self-parking located on site. No valet available. I had a floor orchestra ticket and was actually happy with the seating where I was able to get a good view of the stage. They were pretty comfortable but most of the time people were off their seats dancing anyway. The only thing that may be confusing is that the seats beginning Section 102 were not labeled. You have to kinda count the seats to get you to your correct seat. The sound systems, video, and lighting were great. The performances by the artists were fantastic and enjoyed my experience that evening. The staff were helpful in guiding people to their seats. The atmosphere was nice and visually appealing, but the food did not match. The crab was extremely salty, while the rest of the food was bland. Even the desserts were disappointing. I also purchased a bucket of beers, but I was unable to enjoy them because I became sick and had to spend a significant amount of time in the bathroom. With only two hours allotted to eat, that really took away from the experience. I thought maybe the casino would make up for it, but that was frustrating as well. After getting a Unity Card, I went to the kiosk where it was supposed to be loaded with $20, but it was not. While standing in line at the bar, I could hear other guests expressing disappointment too, especially about the drinks being watered down. Is Overall, this was not the experience I was hoping for, especially for a special family celebration. Very disappointing.

If you want to get jipped come here…read more Not only do the slots not give ONE DOLLAR- the table host takes advantage of you when you're relying on them for the correct way to play assuming they're more knowledgeable than you to a certain extent given they are running the table, as well as guidance on what to do. They say they provide you "options" on how to play but would a normal person play on a winning hand???? Come on dude. The tables host told me to double down on a 21 and proceeded to flip a card on MY WINNING HAND OF BLACKJACK! I thought the dealer saw something I did not, aside from the fact that I didn't know on a double down BLACKJACK they would put another card down on my already winning hand!! I also asked the casino manager to come on the side for us to talk and they proceeded to bring 5 security guards next to me- I'm a 115 lbs, WTF do you think I can possible do for a need to have 4-5 security guards next to me for me expressing myself over a hand that I wanted to speak to the manager on PRIVATELY and about principal- it was over $50 dollars but it's the principal that a dealer should say something on the lines of, "Although you have a winning hand, some people choose to double" vs. DOUBLE ON A 21 Seriously, I've gone to A LOT of casinos, and I don't complain either lol this ones just ridiculous that I couldn't pass up the opportunity on sharing my experience and giving you the option on who you give business to. This casino does not provide towels either in case you feel like showering, you know, basics of a everyday life of a human being. They provide ONE towel for your entire stay and when you ask for one more, apparently they're out and don't do laundry to provide their paying guest another towel Seriously, a joke of a casino. There wasn't even 100 people on Christmas day/night in the ENTIRE CASINO- not bc of corona, but bc people don't like how they play their customers, hence, no one comes to this place. Aren't the overall reviews and stars you guys received on Yelp enough for you guys to see YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS don't appreciate how you guys do business????? Shady. Never coming here again- please don't waste your time and money here. Go to another casino and save yourself the headache. Promise you won't be dissatisfied if you guys go ANYWHERE else aside from here bc the service is that bad. Please figure out how to treat people better. It's not nice to manipulate your paying customers. If the dealer isn't experienced, maybe they should keep their opinions to themselves. I requested the 5 security guards to please rewatch the RECORDED TAPE OF ME PLAYING so they see I'm not making stuff up and they could get to the bottom of it, their only answer was that I made the choice- yes, I made the choice based off a professionals opinion when I'm just playing a card game that I'm not use to considering every casino has different rules per game- there were only 3 total tables open throughout the casino, each with a different game, you did not have options. DO NOT COME HERE. First and LAST time for me here. ‍ 0/10 Also, just a FYI for management- when a customer lets you know they are going to post their negative experience to others, the best thing not to say is to "go ahead". Learn how to treat people that spend a lot of money at your establishment correctly. P.S: saw a person get in a fist fight on Christmas Day INSIDE OF THE CASINO, there were not 4-5 security guards next to him, there was one person from the casino+ his GF when this guy literally punched someone in their face but hey, don't mind me- I'm just a 115 lb girl wanting to talk the the floor manager about my concern- didn't know I was so savage to have the need of 5 security guards. Also- see pic attached, pretty sure it's not ok to cover the fire alarm in the room with a plastic bag!!!

I usually win or break even but the hotel is horrible. Me and my mother stayed there on three separate occasions horrible experience each time. We tried to give the hotel a chance but it failed miserably. The first time the room they assigned us was dirty. The room had food boxes, condoms and a dirty toilet. They apologized and moved us to a different room. The second time their system went down and they could not check us in for a hour we literally had to walk around the casino with our luggage until they could work it. Then when they fixed it system we went to the room the thermostat was not working so it stayed on 69 degrees the whole time. It was dead of winter and we froze as they did not have any other available rooms to accommodate. The third and final time I took my mother there for her birthday. They accidently charged me for a night for a complimentary room then they held three times the room amount on my debit card. The manager stated the clerk was new and I would get my money back 5-7 business days there was no instant refund. If I wanted a refund I had to drive 2 hours back to the casino to get a check. The front desk also told us that their system does not allow you to check out early with out charging you even if it complimentary. Overall the casino is good, food isn't bad but the hotel is horrible. Don't waste your time or money. Go to Thunder Valley, Cache creek or Hard Rock. The service is better and the rooms are nicer. The difference is like comparing the Motel 6 to the Marriott. The casino is in the middle of nowhere you would think they would have better service and nicer rooms to accommodate there out of town travelers.

Sorry for using your race but since I didn't get her name, I'm wanted to make sure she got her appropriate complement. She was kind, helpful, and welcoming. Her recommendation to visit Grinder's Coffee was excellent, and her customer service made a great first impression. I stayed on the second floor near the highway and found the room clean, spacious, and comfortable. Amenities included a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, TV, and free guest coffee. The shower stood out for its strong water pressure and consistent hot water. The casino was less appealing to me, as it mainly featured slot machines with only a few table games and limited tables open. I was also disappointed that the UFC fights weren't shown at the bar despite the channel being available on the property. The Coke fountain drinks on-site were a nice touch. The snack bar exceeded expectations, especially the pizza, though I wasn't impressed with the restaurant.
