Was in Colville for some shopping, and my husband spotted the huge sign outside the building that said come on in: Colville Pour House, so we decided to give a try. Was really hoping to like this place but alas it's a hard pass for me. Pasta salad very mushy-tasted like grocery store variety with some pesto added, didn't improve quality or taste. Lobster melt ok but not really a solid ok. The bread was barely grilled, lobster mix runny and heavy on garlic but it worked ended up ok but wouldn't order again. I wound up giving half to husband. Hubby had the chicken salad with a side of blue cheese and ranch, salad was fresh but the chicken was gooey and gristly and tasted like Walmart precooked chicken from the frozen aisle but hey both of the salad dressings tasted very low quality as well (definitely not house made ranch and the blue cheese had no blue cheese must have grabbed it at Walmart when getting the chicken). On a positive note staff were nice and place was clean. I want to support local businesses but serving up this mess... we definitely won't be coming in again. Very disappointing. read more

This trip I got to try the spicy chicken sandwich. It came with a bag of chips (fries or other sides are $2 extra). The chicken was hot, juicy and tender, but NOT spicy. It was still a very good (okay, yes, flavorful) chicken sandwich. It was served on a nice, toasty brioche bun that complimented it well. Service, again, was efficient and cordial. Prices are still a little high considering what you get - and what you'd pay for anything extra. I'll continue to consider the Pour House a great place for lunch. read more

We stopped in for lunch mid week. My daughter had a pulled pork sandwich that was delicious. The pork was juicy and well spiced. The coleslaw was a very nice compliment to it. I had the turkey cran wrap, which was also very good. The portions were good, not overwhelming. It's a nice place to meet for a meal or a beverage. read more

Perfect menu selection with great veggie options. The veggie platter is exactly what I want as an appetizer. Fresh and delicious. I also got the Blue Burger which was absolutely delicious, and a good size. The bread was so fresh and good and the melted blue cheese was amazing. They have some of the best burgers and sandwiches in colville. I'd definitely recommend the Tay Burger, Phat Burger and the Angy Ivan. Be sure to go up to the counter to place your order for great food and drinks. read more

All things are relative. So relative to what we get in Colville, this is an excellent place. Shockingly large beer selection. Good service. Very broad menu. My in-laws swear by the ruben sandwich, say it's amazing. Would be five stars, except we got nachos which were very bad. Pork with a really weird consistency, and liquid cheese. I'm fine with liquid cheese in theory, if I know that's what I'm getting - but this was cold. Not even room temperature, legit cold. Great place for a drink and to hang out in downtown Colville, but I'd be careful about what you order. read more

We are visiting my in-laws from the Bay Area, and I am so impressed! The Pour House's kids' play area was really incredible. My 2 and 4 year old immediately ran in there and could have played for hours with all the fun toys! What a great feature for a restaurant. Easy going business with a decent atmosphere. It is not high quality or upscale food but if your in the mood for a sandwich and some potato chips it's as good a place as any. I have to say we were disappointed in our visit today. My husband had the south of the border burger and he said it didn't have any flavor. I had a basic bacon cheeseburger and if it weren't for the bacon, well, you know the rest. I upgraded for $2 to have french fries and I probably only got 20 fries total. I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend after walking around Colville. This is not a destination spot but a very good option for the area; my rating is 4 stars for the size of the town. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the two hardworking women make a variety of food items. Because they were so busy making full meals, we waited about 40 minutes for our food and drained our drinks well before. They have 24 taps and have a mix of options: beer, cider, kombucha, and sodas from the Pacific Northwest (Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho...). Both of their kombucha options were sweet-sounding, fruit flavors (Strawberry Kiwi or Coconut Lime) and I prefer herbal/savory kombucha. I decided to try the Coconut Lime kombucha (from Oregon) and it had a very strong coconut flavor. It made me wonder how it got that flavor? The carbonation was very slight and it reminded me of a liquid desert. I enjoyed it. My friend got one of the ciders and enjoyed it. The beer options are extensive and included some things we had to google (framboise). So there is a lot to try here! Watching the workers work (hard!) we got a really good sense of how they make the food and what is popular. They are limited in what they can do because they don't have a full kitchen. Everything is prepared right behind the bar, mostly with panini presses (man can you do a lot with a panini press!). The items we saw the most were nachos and pretzels. The nachos are made with tri-color chips, generous pumps of processed cheese, pulled pork, and veggies. The pretzels are ginormous and are pulled from individual bags, slathered with butter and salt, and rebaked in a tiny oven. The pulled pork, burgers, and sandwiches are all cooked on the panini presses. We saw 1 veggie plate and it had toasted mini naan and a nice selection of fresh veggie. Our top choice was the Tay Tay burger but it turned out to be just OK. The raspberry sauce was muted, the burger was a little odd, and the apple slice was so thin it essentially walked through the sandwich. A stronger raspberry flavor and a more substantial portion of apple would have bumped this up. We also got a special reuben (I don't remember the name and I can't find the menu online) that had apple and this sandwich was excellent. The bread had a sort of brown swirl in it and the flavors were strong and coherent. I don't know that I have ever ordered a reuben, but we picked it for the local flavor and it delivered. If I were visiting the area again, I could see stopping in here again for the wide beverage variety. I would aim to sit at the bar and I would steer clear of the yellow nacho cheese, but I would go for another sandwich and/or the veggie plate. read more

Great little spot in central Colville. The only complaint I had was that you have to stand in line to order first, then you get table service after you place your initial order at the bar. After that everything was great, the servers were exceptionally helpful and friendly, I had a south of the border jalapeño burger and Caesar salad which were fantastic. There is a very good selection of beer on tap and in the bottle. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely would go there again. read more

We went here for the first time today. You need to go to the bar and order which is fine but they have no signage to reflect the situation. We asked if they had any domestic beer and was greeted with a reply that was not very appropriate. However, the smell of the place is just awful kind of a rancid grease dirty kitchen smell if I had to describe it. We left and found a great place with excellent food up the street. read more

We stopped in A couple times, they have good food. Owners were both in, very friendly And talkative. It's basically a first come first serve basis. While waiting for our food, we watched their cook wipe her sweaty head multiple times and continue cooking. We also noticed the owners pouring their own beer and continue drinking while in there and ringing customers up. It's a nice change of not having to wear a mask, or be forced to wear ones, but everything else could be better read more

Pretzel with beer cheese dipping sauce: the pretzel tasted like it was freshly out of the oven - crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. I thought the sauce was a little bit on the saltier side. I would've preferred it to be a bit sweeter just because the pretzel was already salty. Great appetizer nonetheless. 2. Beef dip: I will let the picture speak for itself as I am having a hard time stopping myself from drooling... All jokes aside, I thought the au jus had amazing flavours and really helped to bring the sandwich together. 100% would order again.

This place included all eight of their beers in the flight! And it was really well-priced. We really didn't want to drink that much but decided to splurge. I do like trying different beers, and it was a lot of fun to try eight from one place. Most of the beers weren't outstanding or too memorable, but they were all well-crafted. We really liked the stout. Definitely well worth more than one visit, but we were only in town overnight.

I've driven past Benedict's many times and have wanted to check it out. Tonight I had the regrettable displeasure. Our waitress was very nice. Perfect service. I ordered a main. A 10oz NY strip steak, medium rare, pretty standard. It showed up, a sad 8oz at best thin little steak on a soggy piece of garlic bread looking pretty crispy. I got a couple bites in. The initial flavour was bland followed by a bitter burnt musty taste, imagine trying to eat reconstituted mothballs overcooked on a dirty grill. I felt my eyes water up as I chewed. I tried to swallow. I felt my entire GI tract prepare to purge. That was as far as I was willing to go with this sad steak. Please understand that I've eaten some wildly questionable meals around the world. This still wins the worst. Our waitress came by to check on the food. I politely told her I wasn't going to be able to eat the steak. Without hesitation she apologized and said she'd have them remake it no problem. Cool, ok, great. My gross sad steak leaves the table. 30 seconds later the MANAGER shows up with the steak I thought I'd never have to look at again. She was pissssed! She wanted to have a full on argument with me about what medium rare is. In the end she charged me $30 for an un edible piece of meat. She was so out of line and ready to battle with me. It was actually so insane it was hilarious, in a sad pathetic way. Anyways, save yourself the horrible experience and the waste of time of money and go literally anywhere else. My dogs thought it was good! So there's that.. I guess.
