There were 4 of us throwing for our first time and our host was very nice explaining everything and even adding a Throwing Star as an option to try. Some of the games worked better for me using the star but I really liked the Ax. We had an hour and it was about the right amount of time. Bullseye also has a paintball room in back but we didn't venture back there as there were private parties ongoing. This is a good place to try and is in a very retro shopping area of Richland. This place came up and so we earmarked it as an activity we definitely wanted to try. 2. I'm so glad we followed through w going because the owners (Valerie and Landon) were very welcoming and great. Landon was quick to show us the proper posture for right/left handed people, which was awesome bcuz we have both. 3. The shop is neat and unique. I've never been to an axe throwing place and this location set the standard high. When you first arrive you must sign a waiver. Their COVID-19 precautions are unmatched. You must wear a mask at all times and all the equipment is sanitized. In fact, Landon wore gloves anytime he was going to teach us techniques as to avoid possible contamination. I very much appreciated that level of respect. 4. The best part is that they have various sized axes which keeps making things interesting. My favorite was for sure the star. We then decided to play competitive games and they were nice enough to keep score for us. We had an amazing family outing and will definitely be back when we visit again. This time we pushed off from this marina....well, we didn't really use the dock of the marina, we just threw our kayaks in the agua and hopped in our hoopties. The parking is adequate and the facilities are pretty nice. The water here is fairly protected and away from the main flow of the Columbia; although it is a little slimy and gooey in spots. If you go to the "lagoon to the left, you have some nice still water options. It was interesting to paddle around this patch because every few seconds huge cuts and spashes would happen around you (I assume these must have been bass trying to have me lunch). We wanted to practice flipping ourselves in our crafts and getting back on our rides, so we headed out for the open water of the Columbia. Man, there were plenty of people on the water this day, but we managed to find a good place to dunk ourselves---I didn't really mind since it was hella hot out. There are plenty of put-in options in the Tri-Cities and this is but one, but it was certainly adequate, free, and provided an afternoon of fun.
