He is honest , hardworking, and will give you an estimate on the work you need without charging an arm and leg like a few others that I contacted here on Yelp. (Current projections are for me to break ground within the next 18 months.) My grandfather and uncles were contractors, I've seen my fair share of show rooms. The ACS show room goes right up there with the high end furniture stores that I've been to. It is absolutely beautiful! The creative process is something that I can appreciate and the wide range of finishes they can perform is astounding. From marble to wood to almost anything and everything in between, their floors just, well, floored me! From when I've talked with them, I've gathered that David is the one that oversees EVERYTHING in the field and Heather is the one that does the business and books. It is a "Mom & Pop" operation with the quality of an artisan shoppe. I know many who work do work with them and I've never heard a complaint from any. After some final discussion to make sure things were clear, we approved the project. They showed up on the agreed-upon date and prepped the site, digging out excess dirt AND removing it, then laying base and tamping it by machine rather than trying to "stomp it in". They returned two days later (due to rain), set the wire mesh and poured the concrete. Couldn't be more pleased - they cleaned up their work area at the end of EACH day, and when they were done the site looked like it had always been that way.
