Five times a tech has come to my house to install cable to connect me to the Internet, and five times, they don't have the right cable--, they call a supervisor and dispatch to leave notes for the next job order, and each time, they still show up without the right cable. Question: How many Xfinity techs does it take to install cable? Answer: more than five, apparently. I have learned all about RG6 and RG11, but this company can't even read notes in their dispatch logs. This is a joke. Wish I could laugh about it, but that ship has sailed. Zero stars if possible. Literally the worst company ever. Everything from start to finish is designed to exploit and steal if that doesn't work. They lie and then charge. They have been falsely charged for the last 8 months for a service I never had simply because they had my credit card number on file. I don't use that card and it's set to auto pay. I haven't noticed the charges coming through until now. Now they will only refund me 4 month and told me if I want to speak to a supervisor the amount they will refund me is going to be less due to requesting a supervisor. The absolute worst company to deal with. Trying to get a hold of this company is next to impossible if you are having an issue where they magically raised your rates. Supposedly I am supposed to 150mbs for download, when in reality I average about 30mbs on a good day. Peak times, I get under 5mbs. They continually slow streaming such that I can barely watch netflix around 7pm nightly. Across the street they get 1Gps download, but my neighborhood NO. And my neighborhood pays a higher rate since it is an older neighborhood. Unfortunately we living a monopoly banana republic and this this only crappy service I get in my neighborhood. Comcast is a big company that effectively cheats individuals and small businesses out of money just because they can. The service was not great to begin with. They increased our bill by a huge percentage without warning. And they charged us for another month of service that we literally could not use because we had shipped back their modem as they requested. The agent I spoke to said we would not be charged another month if we returned the modem immediately, which I did. When I called to request a refund, I spoke with someone who had no authority and who could not transfer me to a supervisor. I was lectured about contracts and advised the agent I had spoken to earlier "made a mistake." We signed up with Quantum FiberOptic at $50 per month "for life." So far so good. read more

I came back from vacation to find that my account was deactivated. I looked at the app and it said I have an overdue balance even though I have autopay & have never missed a payment. I paid the balance & it didn't work. I've now talked to 9 different customer service reps, and every single person has said the prior person's "fix" was incorrect. Now they are trying to charge me $100 to have a tech come out even though it was a tech not using my apartment number correctly the first time that messed this whole thing up. I don't understand why I can't get my same package reinstated and why they are trying to charge me more now. This has been an absolutely terrible experience & I don't understand how a loyal customer for over 2 years would be treated like this. I work from home and now I've been without internet at my house for 2 days, with no solutions in sight. I finally had to go drive to an Xfinity store to pick up a new modem and they STILL tried to upsell me at the store after hearing my troubles. This company is a joke. read more

COMCAST BUSINESS IS A SCAM AND A RIP OFF! At the end of October 2024, I switched my internet carrier to Quantum, I had been a steady customer of Comcast Business since 2012. I switched because Comcast, after years of reliable service, was constantly going down and performance was poor. My bill from Comcast arrived dated from November 09, 2024 thru December 8, 2024. On November 11 I contacted Comcast to disconnect my Comcast service, after allowing Quantum time to make sure everything was working. After a run around to keep me from disconnecting, the service rep finally sent me the cancellation paperwork for online signature. I was advised that they would be sending me a UPS label in a couple of days. No mention was made that I would be required to pay for the full 30 days since I was already 2 days into the billing cycle. And the UPS label never arrived. Finallyy on Nov 20 I took the modem to UPS, after also disconnecting my home Comcast/Xfinity account. Today, 11/5/24, I received a bill indicating that I was past due on my November bill, and also billed from December 9, 2024 to January 8, 2025! I haven't used their service since the end of October, and all equipment was returned! Upon calling them, after waiting 30 minutes for them to answer, I was advised that I had to pay since they require 30 days notice upon cancellation. Comcast is a RIP OFF! read more

I had to cancel our service because my Restsurant go out of business. they told us we will be charged $700 early cancellation fee because our plan has a three contract. be aware of that you save a bit of money but end up paying more in the end. when you try to cancel their service, they don't make it easier for you. read more

Be aware, any change you make to a comcast business account will restart the contract 2 years. I'm having to move to Flordia they don't offer services there and are now charging me $900 to disconnect the service. Their service is not great, when you complain they do nothing.. just reboot. NEVER USE COMCAST BUSINESS - If I could put ZERO I would. I've been a Comcast customer for ever. Last May our 2 business account contracts were up, but we were never notified (Yes, I checked my junk mail). I am the only phone contact, no mail, no email. Then end of the year I am doing our books and realize both accounts went from $64.95 to $159.95!!! I paid almost $2000 extra since May for the 2 accounts - for basic internet! So I called and even got it to an escalations team, but nothing. Can't refund. Wanted me to sign up for basic internet at $119.95 for 2 years and make be buy a new cable modem (Can't buy or own they said), and no money refunded back! So I called Verizon and got 5G for one location @$35 a month, with modem, no contract and guaranteed price for 5 years! I'm going to tell everyone I know about Verizon! Comcast just made a convert alright. Too many other options, like Sail Internet or Musk's Starlink at $120/month. read more

My husband and I signed up for Comcast a couple of years ago. It has been nothing but the biggest hassle and headache dealing with Comcast's customer service. Our Cable TV was turned on a couple of weeks after we signed a new digital contract. I called once AGAIN and spoke with another rep, named Eric in Denver. The Comcast rep would not honor our contract we had just signed for $139.00 a month... he quoted us $164.00. I said no way. he said, "It wasn't Comcast's fault the other rep didn't know what he was doing." Eric also told me, "you were late paying your bill." The company's reps are not customer-focused, especially this rep Eric. He was arrogant and unrelenting, not offering any other solutions other than trying to shove a way more expensive contact down my throat. No one from Comcast has bothered to follow-up, so we decided to cut the cord and turn in their cable boxes. read more

Terrible customer support. Billing shows a past due amount, faxed proof the business check cleared the bank with Comcast endorsement. Faxed the proof, the customer service ticket was closed with no action. Week later the past due amount still shows. Filed a second trouble ticket. Can't be allowed to speak to management. Customer service filed my complaint but told me no one would ever be contacting me about my complaint. Wow, what customer service. So for the second time my billing dispute is filed and will take 7-10 days to settle. Glad a large corporation can hinder a small minority owned business and not care. When I cancelled my internet service today because I found a better deal they said I need to give a 60 day notice and will continue to bill me for the next 2 months even though I won't be using the service. Worst customer service I have EVER dealt with. I sold my business last July, 2020. The individual buying the business wanted the same phone number at a different location. Comcast Business was unable to complete so had us keep the account open and paying for it while they figured out how to transfer. Once transferred, they kept billing me, the old owner, for the account. I called to clear up the billing that went to collections beginning in October, 2020 and each time they said they would clear it up only for me to get another collection notice the next month. Today is April 27, 2021 and it still isn't cleared up. When I call, I get disconnected or sent to the wrong division. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. When one rep says they will do something to get the billing credit, the next time I call because of the collection notice, the rep never did what they said they would do. This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had in my business dealings. I would never recommend Comcast business for phones, tv or internet!!!!!! read more
