Comcast is a terrible company. Problems with WiFi for 3 mos. that they haven't fixed despite my filing a complaint with the FCC. Their wire replacement fix lasted one week and nothing but problems since. Their customer service is located in the Philippines, and many staff barely speak understandable English and are programmed to only handle issues a certain way. I've had ongoing problems with their cable tv service and have filed many complaints with the City of St. Paul which is the ONLY way I get cable attended to. However, the City doesn't handle internet complaints. When a member of the executive repair staff calls, they tell me to contact them whenever there's a problem in the future. They NEVER return phone calls or fix problems when I leave a detailed voice mail. I wouldn't recommend Comcast to anyone. read more

Comcast management in marketing are very dishonest. I am the manager for a print shop in Manitowoc Wisconsin. A Marketing manager from Comcast Brooklyn Simpson presented a order to be printed for comcast. She made it sound she was representing a local office, when in fact it was for Saint Paul Minnesota. Order was done 7/22/2025. She keeps on telling me payment has been cleared. she is out rite lying and misrepresenting comcast. Is this the way you want to deal with a company that hires crooks. She leafed when she told me she is in Minnesota. Do you want your accounts handled by people like this. read more

am really frustrated with Comcast customers service auto agent, after 1000 call even they will not connect to human representative to talk. auto agent do the same thing which I already did it. Restart modem. Who the hell introduced this auto response on customers service. I really want to talk to the human customer service but really bad auto response westing my time and nothing happen. This is really bad. Every day 5 to 6 time my internet connect disconnect and I loose my lots of work. And no one there to help and pick the phone to troubleshoot. I guess this the main reason Comcast loosing their customers because of not good human customer service in first call itself. read more

I'm having constant problems with my remote unpairing from my cable box. The Xfinity Assistant is useless! I called customer service and of course, was put on hold. After 26 minutes and 30 seconds, they disconnected me without talking to anyone. Called back and was put on hold again. I tried unplugging my box, waiting for 20 seconds and plugging it back in. Didn't work! I logged into my online account, found support and found an option to do a system reset. The reset worked. I didn't need to pair my remote again. I'm not sure what's going on, but this happens so frequently that I have two extra remotes. Their service isn't as bad as Century Link, but not nearly as good as Verizon. Considering I'm one of their high-end customers, I should be getting better service. Xfinity won't be getting my mobile service any time soon! To Xfinity management: I'd like to know why my call was disconnected after 26 minutes before I talked to anyone. You have to do better! read more

Zero stars. Please read the customer complaints before you use Comcast. I waited patiently for them to fix a line issue in my neighborhood (verified by 2 Comcast service employees in my home) and they have yet to fix the issue. I pay $55/for a gig of wifi every month within a $250/mo package bill and my wifi crashes 4-5 times a day. I\My family has been using their cellphone hotspots to do work & school. I finally went to them for a refund and they provided me with a $120 refund--1/6 of the amount I've paid them for wifi (after 3 hours of phone conversations) for over a year of wifi failure. This refund came after admitting that they needed to fix the line (recorded phone call). I am a 14-year customer, loyalty is a joke with them. I'm going to the press with this, especially as a disabled person during COVID19 with two children doing school from home. We paid hundreds of $$ for service they KNOW and told me they are not delivering. I pay a ton of money to comcast and my cable tv goes out every 5 minutes. I am so sick of it. I have to find a better cable company.

Comcast talked my elderly father into a 2 year plan with services he didn't need. When I tried to help him lower his bill Comcast said they would move him to another plan but it will cost $170 to end the contract. Regardless that he is staying with Comcast and just wanted to reduce his bill and get rid of services he didn't use. My father had no idea he signed up for a 2 year contract. Plus they sold him internet phone service that he doesn't need not use. The customer service person just kept reading from her script and would not budge. I suggested that paying the cancellation and reducing to just internet service and adding Netflix streaming would pay for this predatory service charge in 2 months and they would lose $50 a month. Technically it is a deal to cut the cord and tell them to shove it. read more

Zero star wasn't an available option. After 18 years of service, it took them only 2 weeks to make over 6 mistakes on my account, all of which cost me time and money to fix THEIR mistake. Even after I had asked for confirmation over and over to ensure the changes would not interrupt service or cause problems. Then, to cancel, I have to call and drop off my equipment and no one can tell me what the final bill will be. Not to mention the nightmare it is just to get to the loyalty team when you call. Comcast, Fix your systems; don't have two. Fix your IVR with better options. Fix your training for the call center. Listen to your techs when they tell you about a problem like HDMI ports being disabled for no other reason than you changed a service. read more

I can't believe Comcast gets away with its virtual monopoly with such horrible products and service. Each TV has to be physically connected to the central box by coaxial cable but they will not install new lines. You are limited to where the tv can go based on where existing coax is installed. So if I want it in a different spot from owner of the house in 1985 I'm screwed. Comcast suggested I string loose cable on the floor of my house across the living room, down the hall, up the stairs, down the upstairs hall to the guest bedroom. That sound attractive and oh so safe. I haven't had wired tv boxes for 6 years. And if you must use old tech then be willing to string new wire. Now I know why they have the worst customer service record in the industry. read more

Comcast has absolutely crappy service. In fact no service at all. We need Comcast to move the incoming line to our house. A call to their "service" center gives you a call to someone somewhere who CANNOT speak English. Three tries later, we are finally connected with the "local" dispatcher who informs us that the problem is our need doesn't fit their standard list of "services" but they will have someone come at a particular time/date. Comcast customer service and bundle products are terribly lacking. I have been a long time subscriber with Comcast/Xfinity over the past 13 years. My most recent history at my current residence of two years has been nothing short of unsatisfactory. My TV, internet service is so inconsistent with problems with rewind, connectivity, unable to use features and functions as intended. All calls to the service support at Comcast have fallen on deaf ears with promises to have someone follow up to correct the issue. All in told i have received a very small credit of $1.45 throughout my most recent tenure with Comcast which is no credit as it relates to the amount of downtown time of service and time spent on the phone/internet trying to get someone to determine the failure(s) and the fix. In the beginning our service was great, 13 years ago. Service calls were answered accordingly and problems/issues rectified. It did help that a executive manager lived in our neighborhood which may have attributed to the great service. Does this mean only neighborhoods where executive management employees are living are more supported and receive the best service both connectivity at the residence and technical/customer service support??? Comcast, I am truly sorry for your growth and expansion as it may have increased your profitability, it has demoralized your ability to stand behind your products and services respectfully as it relates to your advertisements. I was once sold on your products and services and now am displeased specifically as it relates to service and support. I am only one customer and me cancelling my service will not effect your bottom line but I do this to inform the public and offer this... buyer beware, you do not always get what you pay for. Looks like St P is the regional headquarters, so shall have to do. Where do I begin on the horrors that anoint Comcast customers? (Hmmm, technically an invalid term, as the word customer implies that one actually GETS the product or service paid for. With Comcast, good luck with that.) The entire system crashes for at least 2 days every 4-6 weeks. Saturday I woke up to no internet, again, although my home set up said all was good. Joy, another 2 hour call. Another reset, which of course didn't work, so another round of IDK what to do. Lots of validating who the hell I am, even though I just DID that for the same person not 4 minutes ago. W/O much of a voice, it's very hard to keep trying to physically talk. The lady asked why I didn't go online to chat if I was unable to speak. UM???? No internet, dummy. She had me take off the router and made a new network THAT DIDN'T WORK. Had to call every person I know and spend the entire afternoon getting something to work. Now, it's slower than when we used AOL to access dial up and the service dept. refuses to help. Can't get my Wii or Kindle to access it, so there's more $$ for services I paid for but can't use. read more
