Amazing that we pay more each year and yet my service is worse by the day!!!! WiFi keeps shutting off and have to reboot my box almost each day plus they tell me they want to come in and check the inside for a fee yet it's NOT IN THE HOUSE ITS BY THE OUTSIDE CONNECT CAUSE THE WIRES ARE SO MESSED UP WITH ALL THE NEIGHBORS WIRES AND THE MAPLE TREE KEEPS HITTING THE WIRED WHEN WINDY! No body trims the tree and what City Official Ass planets a maple tree 5 feet from a pole and branches grow around the wires. My WiFi box has been changed 4 times and upgraded my speed for more money yet this is unexceptionable. My bill keeps going up? I called twice today and was on hold both times for over 15 minutes. For the past month my stations keep freezing. It took me 47 minutes on the phone last month to get that fixed but the next day the stations keep freezing. I just got my large bill that will be mailed out next week. Unfortunately for them they have grown too large to purchase to shut up. By far the worst service oriented company in the United States. I run a business and we were down a whole day and they didn't bother helping us in any way. They then called and promised us someone from 12-2 only for the person to show up at 4. After 15 years as a loyal customer I am switching to Verizon. Comcast..if you live in Weymouth you don't have a choice when it comes to cable providers. I have dealt with enough boneheads and spent lots of time dealing with agents on the phone, that I will only go into this service center when I need help with my account. I am moving and I needed to move my service, but online it would not let me complete the change without scheduling a tech visit for $60.00. I went to this Service Center today to see if I could move the plan without scheduling a tech and do a self install. Not only did Kevin hook me up with everything I needed, I finally got the plan I have wanted for the past year. No waiting on hold. No $60 tech fees. Kevin was super knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions. I am moving this weekend, I have all the equipment I need and have all the channels I have ever wanted! I know Comcast gets a bad rap, but I just wanted to commend Kevin on his excellent customer service. read more

I would love to give less than 1 star for anything to do with Comcast's customer service/service centers but there's no option to do so. I've had their services on and off for the past 10 years some times due to the fact that it's the only option where I was living and other times ONLY because their internet is by far the fastest ( no news there ). Let's just say that might be the only thing good about their services. The prices are absolutely ridiculous... first off who wants a triple play? Internet, cable and PHONE... does anyone even own a home phone landline these days! I'll just give a quick re-cap of my last experience with them this past June... I moved into a new apartment in Rockland and requested to install on my own since I've done it many times before... I also have another account open with them at my weymouth address so when I went to pick up the box/modem I continued to remind them that this equipment was for my rockland account NOT Weymouth. After 3 trips of me going back n forth to return the equipment and receive different equipment I then said you know what since you all are so sure I'm doing this wrong please come out and do it for me. WELL that's not considered an emergency appointment to them so I didn't qualify for next day service, ( keep in mind I picked up the first set of equipment Monday and the third on Wednesday) so the first available appointment wasn't until Friday. Okay no biggie I expected such B.S. with them. When Friday comes and the nice man actually shows up in his time window I said maybe this will actually go smoothly for once... wow what morons at the store.... they were giving me boxes that only work in certain towns Rockland not being one of them! So it had nothing to do with my installation it was as usual the idiots at the customer service desk/phones! Not one person paid attention to me telling them the town I was living in... and they were giving me older Motorola boxes is what the instal man told me rather than the ones that work in my area called something different!!! Not surprised by this at all they are the most untrained unprofessional company out there. Then when you call to get compensated for their mistakes and inconvenience in your time of moving and everything else that goes with that.... they tell you they can take 12$ off your bill! Forget about my gas going back n forth to your location which is completely out of my way 3 times that week... why not make me actually want to be your customer rather than just out of pure lack of other companies! Since 2008 my opinion on them has always been the same... Horrible Horrible Horrible other than the speed of the internet! Pricing is outrageous... can't wait to drop them again! read more
