We worked with Pablo at this location, and there was a handicap lady sitting at his desk that he asked repeatedly to move when she said that she couldn't because she was handicapped he rolled his eyes, and it was very disrespectful, especially coming from someone whose parents are handicapped made me want to end my account that I have with them. It was really disrespectful and on top of that he said we would get a iPhone 17 if we upgraded our Wi-Fi and then proceeded to tell me that he didn't know what the upgrade was for so I asked him what it was for and he said it didn't make a difference so I told him I wouldn't upgrade if he didn't know what the upgrade was for and then come to find out it was making your Wi-Fi speed faster, which we didn't need. Pablo by far was one of the most incompetent people I've ever met in my whole life. You're better off going to Verizon or even Cox mobile. read more

Upgraded our streaming / cable services yesterday, and all tv stopped! I've been on chats, texts, and calls for 3++ hours and on hold for 2 the last hours just today! That's after getting a trouble ticket and promise of a fix or callback for help. Tried FaceBook messaging and was sent to a queue of 91 persons. I am severely disappointed with Xfinity customer service. Think twice. UPDATE: Used link to chat. First in line. Gave complete history. Now, I am waiting over 1.5 hour for a response. LADT UPDATE: I am furious. I gave up on chat as no response after 2h45m. Called and got a helpful tech who solved the issue. The STORE STAFF told us to keep our current streaming box which we took back home. Tech revealed that the box is no longer used and MUST be replaced with a specific new model. read more

After 24 years of being a loyal customer and sending a complaint to the CEO, which he never responded to, probably never even looked at my complaint or threw it away, and constantly being given the "run around" due to all the lies I've been told as far as I'm concerned that it a terrible way of doing business. I had bundled all of my services with them (internet, cable, landline) except mobile which was a HUGE mistake all to save money. The joke was on me. When one service when down, EVERYTHING went down. I tried their Mobile service a second time only to find out afterwards in small print if you go over a certain speed, instead of being free for one year now you get charged $40/mo. I've had to go on line and keep tabs on my bill every month because they sneakily raise my rate and I'm constantly DISPUTING their charges which is another 2 1/2 hour on the phone!!!! Every time you call on the phone you go through hoops trying to get a hold of someone and when you do, you're on the phone with them for 2 1/2 hours minimum or more. Ever since they went from Comcast to Xfinity, their service SUCKS!!! You would think after 24 years of loyalty, I would get treated like royalty and would be entitled to a special rate. I am so angry right now. I would rate this store negative 10 if I could. My mother is 104 years old. She has Comcast; I have POA along with my siblings. My mother's expenses are exceeding her income so we were looking at the Comcast bill (along with other bills) to see if we cold reduce the charges. I'm in Arizona; Mom's in Indiana. I tried calling the 800 number for Comcast but those of you who have Comcast know this doesn't work. I gave up on 800, got on line and made an appt. to go to the Comcast store on Cortaro Road. I went to the store this morning. I checked in and sat to wait for someone to wait on me. While waiting I tried to use the store's WIFI - no luck. Got an error message every time I tried to get WIFI. So I used Banner Urgent Care's WIFI (next door to Xfinity), which I got on just fine. I asked the greeter and she just kept saying I should be able to get on. While sitting there, a woman walked in and asked the greeter about an ad she had seen on TV for free WIFI and wanted to inquire about it. The greeter just kept saying that they don't sell routers any more. The woman said she had a router; she was just asking what was "free" from the ad she saw on TV. The greeter said she didn't know anything about anything being free. The customer asked a few more times, then turned around and left. I should have taken a clue and been prepared for what happened next. My name was called and I met with a woman - no name badge, long black hair. I showed her the POA, my ID and told her my mission for today. She started typing on her keypad, then that she couldn't pull up "that region". She then went to her tablet and tried to pull up "that region" on it to no avail. She said she would talk to her supervisor and see what they could do. She asked me to tell her what, on the Comcast bill, I wanted to change. We went over it, she took notes, and then left. She came back a few minutes later and told me that they couldn't help me. She asked me what the 800 number had said when I called and I told her not much of anything other than a run around with each dept giving me another phone number to call. Then I asked why she couldn't call the 800 number and get connected to "that region" to help me. Her response? IF WE CALLED THE 800 NUMBER FOR EVERYONE WHO WALKED IN HERE WE WOLDN'T BE ABLE TO HELP OTHER CUSTOMERS. So, here I am, a long, long time Comcast customer who is apparently chopped liver. I was so angry I walked out before I said what was going through my mind. I don't know why I thought that this would be an easy process or that the store would actually want to help a customer. Four months later a collation agency wanted me to pay for no service. I did go to the store in Marana to get answers, they insulted me and my wife. When I got hot they said I must leave their store. I got Verizon, so should you, when i Show the mess they, left they now want me to DM them again for like the sixth or seventh time to take care of it. This is where we have to go for equipment since River Road is closed. I re started my cable and renting a modem again. I don't like the rental price but it is lifetime warranty with service. And it's 20 pct faster than promised. Just WiFi, auto pay 50.00 a month. Going all streaming, no cable lineup. I had it all set on the phone, account number in place. Just show up and pick up. Comcast just sucks SO Badly. The connectivity is dicey at best and we've had no fewer than 5 service outages in the past 3 days. Working through their nightmare phone tree is an exercise in frustration. I spent a fun-filled FOUR HOUR on the phone trying to resolve what should have been a fairly simple fix. Their idiotic phone tree insists on forcing "self care" solutions, none of which work. They insist you use their completely useless app. So we've had interrupted tv service and spotty internet access for days now. But they're "working on it" and really appreciate their valued customers. Comcast and Xfinity are fully aware their customer service is abysmal. They don't care. Just keep sending them money to be screwed over repeatedly. Avoid if you have any other option at all. Soup cans and string would be an improvement. read more

I called xfinity Comcast tech support because my wifi kept dropping off, they were very helpful after trying to get the wifi router to reset, the tech said my router was outdated so they put in their notes that customer will take it to the xfinity store. I went to this Cortaro Rd location was greeted by the reception staff, she was very courteous, I only had to wait 15 minutes for a service associate to help me get a new router, he was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Comcast Xfinity is so over priced and down constantly. Their customer service is unbelievably terrible and heaven forbid you ask for a discount because their service went out...they gave me a whole $20 credit. And I pay over $230/mo for their bundle. Unfortunately, there's simply not enough competition for their internet speed. I wish more competition would come in that offers great internet and customer service. They're like my constant pain in the neck because their wireless cable boxes go out regularly and have a horrible delay. I wish I could recommend someone else, but the other options for internet are DSL and so slow. Meanwhile, the suffering continues. read more

I think it is worthwhile to distinguish between Comcast as a company (pricing, channel selection, policies, etc.) and this local service center. The people working here cannot be blamed for corporate decisions. That said, I've been coming to this service center for about 7 years. I'd prefer to solve issues online or over the phone, but it seems like it's impossible to renew a 2-year contract without coming in and dealing with it in person. When I stopped by a few days ago there were 3 service agents behind the counter, and nobody being serviced - they were busy looking at their screens. The agent to the right told me they'd be right with me, and when I walked over to her I was told in no uncertain terms that *someone* would be right with me, but not her. OK. I retreated and they guy in the middle took care of my 2-year plan renewal. He was busy staring at the screen for about 10 minutes, maybe their systems are just that slow (their webpage that I use certainly is!), but eventually he got the job done and shook my hand eagerly. I noticed the whiteboard off to the side with "Customer Satisfaction metrics" - the handshake must be part of the schtick. I do not look forward to going into this office, but I have to admit they have been able to solve my problems every time I've been there. read more

We were greeted by Deonte Chisloman. He was delightful. I was with my elderly father, who has short term memory loss, who had to cancel his intranet and cable service in advance of moving into assisted living. Deonte was patient and kind. I had to take the review down a couple stars as we asked for just the cable & intranet to be canceled. After receiving the email notification it indicated the entire bundle was canceled. Which included the phone line that we need. Now after spending 2 hrs on the phone...talking to 3-different representatives we find out that our phone is connected to our intranet so we can't cancel intranet. I have wasted hours and hours on this. I thought I could avoid the frustration & continuous miscommunication by working with someone face to face. No such luck. read more

Just garbage. So it should work for what I pay a month. The customer service lady was very nice and she tried to help, but... this happens about every three days. We unplug, reset, give it a few hours, give it a few days to hopefully "burp" the line. Well nothing works. The technician did come out but really didn't do anything but give us a new remote. Seriously?? Find something better. Then the rep says that I pay $140 a month and if I add a landline, I'd pay $160. I'm like have you seen my bill?? I already pay $170 for service that doesn't work. I recently purchased a new router/modem for home use. I have been a loyal customer of Comcast/Xfinity for over four years. When setting up my new equipment I ran into a snag. When first setting up the old modem four years ago I remembered the significance of the Mac number and was fairly certain that it needed to be updated to allow my new equipment to work. When entering the Xfinity store I was greeted. I told the greeter my needs. After a brief conversation, a short wait time I was introduced to Christopher Hunst. He immediately knew what needed to be done. From the time Christioher made the changes to the new Mac number to the time I arrived home my Internet service was restored. What turns me off is that all the employees sit on the ottomans and don't greet you on your way in. 4/5 employees were sitting in the common area, not their desks, the area where customers usually sit at and looked at me when I walked in. They could of at least greeted me or stood up knowing how inappropriate their demeanor is. A guy finally approached me but only after I initiated conversation. He walked me to his station and was quick with my return. My question is, why are they paying u? I understand it's slow and there was no one in the store but it is extremely unprofessional. Imagine walking to a restaurant and all the servers were sitting in the dining room. It truly was the strangest sight that I had to write a review the next day. Calling two hours later helped. The first call to Xfinity tried to push me into buying a "protection package". What did he think I needed, condoms?! The second call two housr actually reached someone who admitted there were programming issues on my bill. It was also stated that some work in our cable area would be attended to in the am. I returned a cable box we decided to not use, and during the whole return process I was not given any verbal instructions as to what was being done. The continued rise in cable cost is out rages. But that is not the only thing that is bad about Comcast. Their service is the most terrible thing that they do not do. I understand why cable cutters are dropping cable. I would do it if I understood how to get what I get from Comcast. My ignorance keeps me with them. The tilting point is their customer service. First you must go through ridiculous conversations with an automated voice that wants to just get rid of you. If you continue to go through the voice prompts, you finally get to a person that puts you on hold for another transfer. If you have the ability to wait for a person, you get someone that is very nice from a foreign country. I have nothing against them, but it is almost impossible to understand them. You then explain your problem and get told to wait while they access your problem, and they will call you back within two hours. I am currently waiting for that call. I've had issues with my modem and cable box and brought them both to the Comcast service center and was out of there in 10 min tops! With new modems and DVRs to boot..zero hassle. I've had COX for a little over 4 years and was nervous about Comcast, but I tell you, the Internet is fast but about 10 to 15 bucks more. Xfinity is pretty awesome I have to say. I just hate the idea that I start out with a smile and at every touch point they seem to make the wrong choice and I keep putting up with it. Three months ago I upgraded my service to HD and unfortunately, after four trips to the office the items I received from them (picked up myself after they didn't show for the scheduled install date) had to be replaced as failed...one "refurbished" and shrink wrapped box blew a big puff of dust in my face when I plugged it in. When I came back into town last week, the wireless wouldn't work- the message in my computer screen said they no longer supported the modem I rent from them and... Yep, I had to use some of my vacation time to go down there with their equipment and get another refurbished unit. The woman that helped me gave me a hard time when I asked her to plug it in to make sure it lit up (yes...been there...done that) Come on Comcast, you can do better. read more

Best customer service we have received in a very long time. Rey was simply great to work with in switching from Verizon to Xfinity mobile, going from $60+ a month to $30 a month including new phone cost. When the phone is paid off our bill will be $12 + tax a month, helpful when on a fixed income. We also have an Xfinity bundle at home in Washington and have always received excellent customer service there as well. read more

We have had several bad experiences with Comcast. However, when your housing complex tells you you have no other choice, you are left to their mercy. We ordered cable and internet because we got one of their deals. When the tech came out to fix the cable, we didn't have a TV so we couldn't test it out. The internet worked though. Upon getting a TV, we plugged it in and it didn't work. It kept saying, "This channel will be available shortly." So we called, and because they were unable to digitally reset it, they sent out another tech. This time, it worked. However, we were charged $50 for the "service charge" of having to send a tech over. Considering that our service didn't work the first time, we figured it shouldn't be our responsibility to pay for their "service charge". We called customer service and the woman in billing is extremely rude, telling us, "who told you it would be for free? We always charge." After a lot of arguing, we got $25 back. It seems that all their TV advertising about "we have changed" is just that. Advertising. Can I give them a -1 rating? read more

Join the club and disconnect your service, why...if your modem is always booting while playing online or watching Netflix, comcast doesn't like that unless u sign up for tv bundle, and at the end you will run out of data and get a big bill. If you complain about the data running out, they will tell you someone is hacking your wifi connection. ..haha Simply especially at this center, is one of the worst customer service, and not willing to do anything. If you call CS some one will answer you in Philippines verify you info then transfer you to another dept and so on. Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. This review is not directed at the store in question but the company overall. If you have ANY sort of issue with either internet or TV you have to move mountains to get any sort of help at all. Their customer service line takes you straight to a modem reset AND THATS IT, apparently the fix all for them is to reset the modem. Anything more than that you will have to wait 15-20 min to speak to some guy or gal in India who barely speaks English only to have them take you in circles and never give you a means to resolve the issue. Like I said I have had issues with tv and internet and nothing ever gets fixed. Do yourself a favor and go with a different provider. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I know I will be stoned for giving a positive review to Comcast but their service center out on Cortaro has never been anything but professional and helpful. I recently reconfigured our business account with Comcast and had to do so over the phone with the business people since the service center can't handle it. I had to kill 5 static IP's, kill the rental business modem and provision a new modem that was owned rather than leased. And this all had to happen rather smoothly and quickly as we have 250+ members in our computer club who use this account. Fifteen minutes later it was done, looked up our billing online the next day and all the changes were made properly. Five days later, two Comcast techs show up at our village center (where the club is located) to test all our lines, modem quality, etc.. This was unsolicited and when they were done, we jumped a complete tier in speeds over what we are paying for. They were polite, left behind direct phone numbers for a LOT of customer service people in various areas of Comcast. Then, on the personal side, techs show up at my house saying my modem signal at the head end is pretty bad. Turns out the tech who installed our Comcast cable at home left a DirecTV splitter in place and ran lines through it which degraded the signal. They replaced that, put a new outside box in place as the old one was getting pretty ragged looking. Speeds didn't change (120/12 is what I get anyway) but by uncorrectable packets went to zero almost immediately. I don't know if they are experiencing increased competition or have simple decided they can't take the poor customer service rep any longer but these incidents sure convinced me that something has changed for the good. read more

Is it possible to give Comcast a rating of zero? Horrible customer service. Every year they suddenly raise our by $25 per month. I used to be able to pick up the phone and speak to a human being and resolve this. Now they force customers to go through this ridiculous exchange with their virtual assistant, which is a complete waste of time because eventually they just schedule a call back. Instead of a 10m conversation to resolve the issue this becomes an hour or more of my time. Hey Comcast, if you're reading this, maybe you can consider cutting back the $35 million CEO salary and actually hire some people to man the phones and provide service to your customers! read more

Comcast is the worst in Arizona. I moved out here from New Jersey and there is no data limit there. Also the internet is poor at best, random disconnects while playing games and netflix movies take 6 hours to watch. Their customer support is the worst, usually its someone in India or where ever who just tells you to power cycle your modem. Sad thing is they have a monopoly in my area. read more

This is the second time in two weeks that my modem has gone down. I called Comcast and after five minutes of being redirected multiple times through an auto prompt, I still didn't have an option to speak to a real person. I was able to send a signal to my modem to reset it through the auto prompt which surprisingly worked but it would've been nice if that was one of the first options and I didn't have to wait on the phone for five minutes. I have been thinking about upgrading my service with Comcast, but now I think I'm going to go with someone else. Terrible customer service. In fact no customer service.
