I have been in a 3 week phone battle to get a technician to my home to fix my cameras (which have been down for far longer than comfortable), my smoke detector (they sent me a new one after my first one had a malfunction ((the new one won't connect to my panel))), and my panel (which didn't even alert that my front door was opened when someone broke in). That's right! After playing phone tag to ask for a technician (which they never gave me the option of), someone broke into my house while my family was asleep. All of a sudden, after the break in, they are willing to schedule a technician, but get this: for a $100 fee... I have not only trusted Vivint with my family's safety, but my mother and father's safety too. For them to not even care that they failed me is one thing but to try to BLAME ME FOR NOT FIXING THEIR EQUIPMENT MYSELF should be illegal. They can't even reimburse or cover the costs of their faulty equipment that I have been paying for through a loan. I wouldn't recommend my enemies to vivent after the hell ive been through. DO NOT TRUST VIVINT WITH YOUR SAFETY.

My daughter has not been able to get them to send out a technician without being on hold for multiple hours and then having to go through the same steps over and over again just to have them tell her she's doing something wrong. I have Vivint too, and I regret ever getting it. Plus they make you set up for a credit service to buy all of their equipment, which is overpriced and if you want to cancel their service, then you're stuck with the credit card payment that's through a company that's not affiliated with them. My daughter had somebody break into her house a couple nights ago and the cameras were not working along with her fire system (whole other issue). This is after she's been calling them to get service for the non functioning equipment and they refused to help her with it except for sending her something in the mail that will not connect. When she called to tell them she needs help. They insist on charging her a fee to send out a technician. How about sending out a technician and then charging a fee if it's a technical issue on our part. Highly discourage you from ever using this company they provide the worst Customer Service I have ever dealt with in all of my years.

    Turns out, Loelectric was completely untrustworthy. He issued an invoice for $2000 by email after…read morefull payments in cash were made to him. When we discovered negligent installation work voided water heater and ptz camera warranties, he refused to clarify his payments in full as he insisted were received in cash. So get this, even though Yelp is supposed to protect consumers from Loelectric Equipment's negligence and untruthfullness, it claimed no coverage for its "badge" member was possible no proof of cash payment from him was received! So to review, he issued invoice in writing and yelp messages assuring me Yelp knew I'd paid as invoice described in cash, but behind closed doors, Yelp said he never confirmed with them cash was received as invoiced. So my insurance must investigate effects of negligence on ptz cameras (he abandoned a cable that ptz cams became entangled in/preventing spin function), and cost to reinstall correct circuit breakers in tank less water heater. What a mess! And all he had to do to settle this with Yelp was say, yes, he paid cash, that's why I emailed him the invoice next day.

I understand things happen, and his prompt response (and electrician Jesse's professionalism) has salvaged this small project and our relationship. The end result was a really clean, tight installation. We are very pleased. Rich was pleasant and explained details thoroughly. Communications with the company was highly responsive: quick and courteous both on phone and via text. End of the job clean-up was excellent. Highly recommend.

    So my internet with Verizon was getting spotty. Went to this store and was told I needed a new…read more(better) box. I was told to go to any UPS store to mail back the old one. I did that. I worked with Ali who was pretty nice. The new box was okay but I was having slow service. It finally worked well after two weeks. Then I get my monthly bill and it was more than double. No one said anything to me about my bill going up. I go to the store with my bill because the issue originated there. I got this guy, Jesus, who was very talkative. I explained that the bill had to be wrong. He quoted me a Bible verse and I asked that he not do that. As we talked through the bill, he said I was talking "crazy" and I asked him not to use that word. I did not yell, swear or curse. I was just being direct. Turns out I was overcharged because the account linked to the first box was not closed. And there was a charge to open the new one. Ali never said anything about an activation charge and why he didn't close the first account, I don't know. Jesus would not stop trying to bait me. He said maybe I should have called Ali, he said I should probably go home and call customer service and I said I wanted to solve the problem right now. He called customer service and then got very quiet. The rep talked me through everything. I thanked the rep and we hung up. I looked at Jesus and said, "Do better" and he said, "God bless you." Again with the religion. Very offensive and off-putting because I already had said please don't talk about religion. Suffice to say, I won't be going to that office ever again and I think they have a real problem with Jesus.

I never received or activated the device, but the charges still appeared and my bill jumped significantly ($350 the first month, then about $250 in the following months). The follow-up with the representative (Mohammad) and the manager has been exhausting and disappointing, with repeated calls, transfers, and no clear resolution. If you have to use this store's service, verify all account changes in the Verizon app before you leave and insist on a printed order summary/receipt. Dont trust them but Chris.
