It was truly amazing! We will definitely come back for more movies and fun! This is a newfound jewel!

Rarely are there ever any real concerning issues with this nitehawk but y'all come on. Lately foods not above lukewarm and is overall lacking. If you run out of an ingredient then let the customer know don't just wing it then pretend that's how it's suppose to be. But most of all don't rush to serve barely lukewarm food (and please stop serving bone dry grilled chicken). Huge no. I love this theater for the small rooms, usually delicious food, and drinks (see yummy cocktail pic:). I always write a note and leave them on the items I absolutely loved or can't consume which normally it gets addressed properly. This time around I was made to believe a lettuce wrap, which only had the beef and kimchi, was part of my cold meal (damn it if I didn't get gaslit because I just dropped the issue since its never ok to talk during a movie). However no where was it listed in the menus, online or the physical one, that the flour tortilla would be substituted with a lettuce wrap and items would be omitted. Overall still the best dine in theater in the state, so far, and 100% better than all AMC/Regal.

Local cinema similar to Alamo drafthouse with limited screenings. There's a bar and kitchen available for ordering before/during screenings. Also events hosted here often. The seats in theater 2(located in the basement) are upgraded. Reminder this cinema is petite. Despite it being a premium cinema, can be a but sparse for tickets. Worth it since it's more controlled and comfortable. There's multiple restrooms upper and lower levels. You have to choose seats for dining services and present tickets. Yet, theater 2 has glitchy service and no WiFi since its basement level. Best to screen shot email confirmation. I like how my group server took our food order after the movie started. They always mention to write orders on note after reviewing the menu under table. There's vegan options available. I ordered the coconut oil popcorn, which was good, but I think it was real butter or couldn't tell. You must have a card to put on file before ordering. Please don't chat at the theater, it mentions every time before screening. The staff will act accordingly. People attend dine in theaters for elevated controlled experience. Let's keep it that way. Definitely give this theater a try if you're looking for a quaint movie night.

Visited on Saturday night with reservation. The reservation can be done online. This one is located close to l train, bedford Ave stop ~10 min walking distance. Plenty of street parking is available too. This movie theater is one of the most hipster theater I have been. Very retro-feel interior and exterior design. Loved their atmosphere with mixed modern and retro designs. There wasn't any person for direction, but it's pretty easy to navigate yourself. Make sure to arrive a bit earlier to find the room. The phone signal gets cut off on theater room 2. Be sure to screenshot your ticket. When you sit down, the server will come to check your ticket and take order. Ordering is very simple. There are paper and pencil. You just need to write down what you want. Food quality is very impressive. Semi fine dining experience. It is pricey as compared to other dining movies, but I think it is worth that price. I was very happy with the food.

I love this place. One of my favorite experiences here was going to a brunch screening of Moonstruck with a friend.

Me and my boyfriend enjoy going to Nitehawk for date nights and always have a great time. Both the Williamsburg and Prospect Park locations are fantastic, prospect park has a larger theater and offers more movie selection, whereas the Williamsburg location is smaller and more intimate. They have a large drink/food selection and a very fun and easy way of ordering, you just write down your order on the paper provided for you and prop it up until a server grabs it for you. The previews before the movie are always fun and silly, they have some homemade trailers and a hilarious informative short. I also really enjoy the prospect park location, because it's right near the park and we have the opportunity to walk around and relax if we are early to a movie.

Deviled eggs. It was dark so that was the best I could do!

    Do the seats recline?

Not really, in my opinion. They did get new seats. Compared to the old ones they are fantastic. Pop in for a visit and check it out for yourself:)

When I reserve a table, is it for 2 seats?

Hello, Tickets are for one seat, so if you are buying tickets for 2 people please select two seats. There is a table between each set of 2 seats, so we recommend selecting seats that share a table (the key at the top of the theater/ seat selection…

Is this place kid friendly on a Sunday afternoon? Want to bring my 12 year old and his 3 friends to watch a movie and enjoy the whole dine in experience..

It is during the daytime, there is a cutoff for kids in the theater later at night

How early should you arrive to get a good seat? or have an ample seat selection?

Roughly 30 minutes for a popular movie.

Is food served to your seats or is it a standard order at a kiosk type thing?

Directly to your seat. You write your order on a piece of paper, put it on the table, and somebody comes to take your order, and then bring you food and drinks.

Is this the best theatre in nyc?

No I won't say that. In Brooklyn its probably in the top 2. The other being the alamo draft house.

The staff came across as nonchalant and not very engaged, which set the tone right away. The food didn't help either--the spicy tuna was completely flavorless, not crispy and the drinks were underwhelming. We also weren't told ahead of time that you have to pick up your food and drinks yourself, which was surprising since we're used to full service at your seat. On the positive side, the popcorn and truffle fries were decent, but everything else fell short. The seats were just okay--not particularly comfortable. The bathroom situation was also frustrating--it's located upstairs near the restaurant and wasn't well maintained. There were no paper towels, and overall cleanliness was lacking. Overall, this felt like a subpar experience, and I won't be returning. My cousin mentioned the New Jersey location is much better, so maybe it's just this one--but based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend it.

(Click on my Substack for more Baumbach thoughts including my brief interaction with the auteur, as awkward as many of his finest scenes). You may have heard about the successful company that helped destroy movie theaters by pivoting to "content" meant to promote purchases of high-end TVs and nice couches. (Related, I went to Best Buy and didn't recognize anything. Is that a thermostat? A stereo? A smart garden hose?) This company was so successful, that after Knives Out was heralded as single-handedly reviving non-Marvel film, its sequel was withheld from the theaters it allegedly saved. (BTW, if you were planning to tell me to watch the amazing 53-part Quibi streaming series about The Golden Age Of Hollywood, don't bother). But after Netflix helped destroy theaters, it did a nice thing. It's one of those ironic moments like the purse-snatcher scene in Jay Kelly. It signed a lease that helped the Paris avoid the fate of the Ziegfeld and a million others, in a world where the AMC theaters that destroyed all the independents have been suffering themselves. So, while it was vile that Netflix thought Roma should be seen on TVs, it was nice of them to show it at the Paris, especially for the unusually vibrant sound. I saw Train Dreams Saturday. I suppose, like the kid in Squid and The Whale, I am a philistine. I wish I could praise its morose existentialism but I'm not quite on board. However, I did appreciate the majesty of the northwestern fires and falling trees in this venue. There was no assigned seating; not sure if this is just temporary, but if they keep that policy I might be obliged to overlook Netflix's evil and upgrade to 5 stars.

Over time many hits such as: Zefirelli's 'Romeo and Juliet' 1968 (Italy), 'A Room With a View' 1985 by James Ivory (UK) , et le film 'Belle de Jour' 1967 (France) directed by Luis Buñuel, were introduced to the United States with an introductory theatrical run at our beloved Paris. There's a few issues here and a few fantastic things and I think the easiest way is to list them by category. The Bad: -Like others, I agree that the seats unfortunately are not that comfortable here. This is by far the biggest issue here and it should have been addressed years ago and I doubt it will be soon -They still show the same extremely annoying metal band shirt advertisement with flashing lights that is annoying every single time I go here -The staff here aren't the nicest but it's a movie theater so I can deal with it The Good: -If you're looking for independent films and foreign films, this is one of if not the best theater to go to -The occasional Q&A I'm able to go to such as most recently for Eephus; which was an excellent existential baseball movie; and the Ukrainian documentary Porcelain War last year are always entertaining and interesting and they don't cost more so I would recommend them -If you're looking to see some form films to fill out your Letterboxd Oscar list or perhaps the shorts or something, they show virtually all of them here -They have some fun midnight screenings and other things such as the obligatory The Room and Rocky Horror Picture Show of course There's a few other theaters that I like going to more but there's occasionally films that you really can't find anywhere else. Combine that with the fact that this place is so convenient that I deal with any of the issues here. If they fix the seats, you can preemptively switch this to five stars but for now, it's a four.
