Brindle Room has long been one of my favorite burger spots in the city. It had been years since my last visit, and I'm happy to report the burger is still excellent, perfectly seasoned, with sautéed onions that make it truly stand out. It's a small space with laid back vibes. Highly recommend if you're craving a great burger downtown.

Not enough good things can be said about this east village institution. Brindle Room's menu is kept simple because when you do a burger so right, why do anything else. I'm salivating once again just thinking of it. This cozy laid back joint is perfect for a bite and cocktail. A great place to relax.

I was dragged here and told that it was the "best burger in town". Spoiler alert, it's not really the best burger in town. The server was super sweet, but she was the only person serving the entire restaurant. I felt bad for her because it got really busy and she was handling the bar and all the food by herself. It is small inside, but there were easily 20-30 people. This place has a serving window between the kitchen and the dining area. I would definitely suggest that they change the way they operate and just have a bartender operate the bar and people can go up and get their own orders. Unnecessary to make that girl do all that work alone. Could have been a one off - but we were a party of 5, made a reservation and still waited 1.5 hours for a table because the booth seating was all taken by 2 person groups. I felt bad because we took up space in the bar area waiting for our table. Overall, pretty silly experience.

Had a wonderful date night at this cozy casual restaurant in the East village. Service and staff were kind and friendly. They have a full bar and made a delicious gin martini. Food menu is very small and the restaurant is known for its burger. See what we ordered below - Chopped salad: very small portion, but simple and refreshing. Don't necessarily think we would order again since it's a really small portion and nothing too special - Burger: Brindle Room is famous for its burger and it did not disappoint. Buttery, melt in your mouth patty cooked to perfection (medium rare) with melted cheese and grilled onions on a soft pillowy potato bun. Served with crispy thick cut fries and pickles. Think this is one of the best burgers we have had in the city. I'd been to this restaurant many years ago at its initial location. The new location on 11th and C is definitely a step up. Much better interior, creating a nice ambiance and providing for much more space. Shervin (think he was the manager) was great and very friendly. Made sure we had an amazing evening.

Delicious sides and drinks. The Brussels sprouts were so good, even without the tahini sauce it came with. Bacon wrapped dates were the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and even better than ones I have previously had at Boqueria and Socarrat. However, I was underwhelmed by the burger, the main drawback being that it needed more seasoning. Onions and bacon were good, but burger may be better with some kind of sauce and cheddar instead of American. One waitress when we were there, with four tables or so occupied. Also not really feeling the paper folding menus. Would come back to try the steak and other apps.

Today we went to Brindle Room for the second time in 8 days. I cannot recommend it enough. The first time we went we sat at the bar on a Saturday and enjoyed DELICIOUS and VERY REASONABLY priced cocktails. The "Go" is served ICE COLD and is so good if you like espresso martinis. Today we went for brunch and it was empty? Are you kidding me? If you don't want to wait in line for a BEC or a burger you should try this spot instead. All the sauces here are really good their hot sauce, the sauce on the BEC, and their garlic aioli. TLDR: If you want a good burger, great cocktails, and a cozy vibe please try this spot.

What a great find. Friends took me here for brunch. The space is friendly and rustic. Not fancy but comfortable like sinking into a sofa. Our server was Jake who professional and personable. We started with the pickle chips and Brussels sprouts both were fantastic. I wish I had pictures but we ate them so quickly I forgot. The menu is a little small but I will always defer to a smaller menu executed well over a massive mediocre menu. I had the French dip and it was massive and delicious. I normally skip the au jus as I find them a little bland. This one was delicious and robust. Definitely worth the journey from midtown. I will be back.

The Brindle Room is an incredible neighborhood restaurant in alphabet city! With cozy and intimate vibes, superb service, and delicious food this place does everything right. Some of the highlights included the steak frites and the burger! With very reasonable prices and extremely friendly staff, it's easy to come to this place routinely!

Music was full of fun, actors were so talented as much as to make the audiences believe their characters are real. The dinner course provided various options all of which of course were delicious. Especially, the story, which everyone can enjoy easily, went along well with the music from experienced jazz players. This combination strongly supported the actors' showmanship which leads the audiences to be a part of the show. If you ask me what made this show even more special, I would say the auction scene. In that part, all of the audiences became dealers with their fake money which was handed just before the show. It was amazing! I had so much fun. I would love to see this show again in other chance.

The storyline was awesome and everyone got to play a role: some friendships, some backstabbing. It was hilarious to see everyone get into their characters. The production crew made sure everything ran smoothly and that we didn't run astray but still allowed the story to manifest according to what each character was saying. Having a private venue with small bites being passed around and a bartender elevated the party to the next level. It's been almost a week and everyone is still talking about it. I am so so grateful I found Truffles Mystery Immersive and Sonia!

My kids turned 17 and we wanted to celebrate with something unique and... this delivered…read more The food: four courses (kinda-sorta), small portions, better than what we expected. (I'm assuming the grub came from the trattoria above us.) Lots of flavor, a few entrée options to pick from (made ahead of time) to appease any preferences or dietary restrictions. My only issue was whoever was working the salad station was entirely too heavy-handed with the sliced radishes. Ease up on those next time, partner. The show: exactly what you probably expect/fear/need/want - equal parts goofy and interesting, ridiculous and intriguing. It's well thought out, constructed and paced. (We were 'warned' from the start - how much 'we' put into it is what we'd be getting back out and that's legit... some people were completely "in it" and you could tell they loved every second of the adventure, whereas my in-laws started to fade after about 90 minutes.) I should fess up I was positive my "thinking outside of the box" was going to snag me the win but I completely flubbed and it's safe to assume my final guess was the WORST one of the night. (Some advice: pay attention to ALL the clues. Don't try to be too damn clever or it'll bite you in the rump!) The three hours went by smoothly... lots of laughs, lots of interacting with the other diners (suspects!) as well as the actors and before you knew it - crimes were being solved, tabs were being closed and it was time to head back into the cruel streets of the city that never sleeps. Biggest issue (aside from the radishes!) - parking, of course. (A few blocks away was the only option and that added another $50+ to an already expensive night.) We were a party of seven (which is how many were seated per table) and I think we would've had an even better time had we been split up or went as a smaller group (so we could mix-and-match with other people, including the performers). Most definitely worth checking out if you're out for some fun that can appease (older) teens to their grandparents.

The staff came across as nonchalant and not very engaged, which set the tone right away. The food didn't help either--the spicy tuna was completely flavorless, not crispy and the drinks were underwhelming. We also weren't told ahead of time that you have to pick up your food and drinks yourself, which was surprising since we're used to full service at your seat. On the positive side, the popcorn and truffle fries were decent, but everything else fell short. The seats were just okay--not particularly comfortable. The bathroom situation was also frustrating--it's located upstairs near the restaurant and wasn't well maintained. There were no paper towels, and overall cleanliness was lacking. Overall, this felt like a subpar experience, and I won't be returning.
