I had my first emergency visit today with Comfort & Care in Lincolnton. My dentist is not open on Fridays, but I was able to get in today to be seen by Dr. Naylor. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. Dr Naylor was very gentle and he did a great job helping me today. I'm going to change to this dental office for future visits. read more

I had a filling come out late last night(Thursday) and my regular dentist isn't open on Friday. I called Charlotte Emergency Dental Clinic, but they were going to charge almost $600 and they didn't take dental insurance. I called Comfort and Care and they got me right in, and they accept dental insurance. They were great. The office was clean and inviting and the staff was friendly and professional. If you are in the Lincolnton area I would highly recommend them. read more

Dr. Naylor is friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. The office is newer and nice, with good equipment. I've had cleaning and now 3 fillings performed here, and I was pleased that they were able to use the numbing anesthesia protocol that my prior dentist used, so it was effective and pain-free. (He made sure, as he was drilling, that the anesthesia was working, and he added-to when it was required.) I agree with another reviewer, that it would be nice for them to provide an eye shield/sun-glasses (many other dentists use these). Though the last dental office I tried in Mt. View had them, but didn't clean them properly and they were nasty. So, I guess no glasses are the better choice, than filthy-nasty. The support staff at the front desk is very efficient, very friendly and very helpful! The name is a joke, and certainly is not true. The office is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly.However, the dentists at this office dont provide the comfort and care they have named themselves. I went in for an infected tooth that was causing swelliing my jaw, and was excruciatingly painful. I was prescribed antibiotics and referred to endontist. I asked the Dr if there was anything for pain relief and was told to take ibuprofen. I was not asking for any opioid medication I asked if he could give me an anti inflammatory, like toradol, which is a NSAID and not an opiate, because I thought he just didn't want to write pain medication. The following day I called again, and was told to take my antibiotics as that would help relieve pain in a few days. Clearly they dont care about your comfort and would rather you suffer in pain. If anyone's dog was suffering in pain the way I was, the veterinarian would give pain medication to the animal. This office wouldn't even write out a prescription for ibuprofen so I could save money by having my I insurance pay, instead of buying 4 bottles otc. 1/2 star is what this office should be rated because they provide No comfort, and little care read more

Both of the Dr. Naylor's have been taking care of my family for years and have always been wonderful and their staff is great.

The staff was very kind and efficient. Office is clean and very modern. I recently transferred mine and my husband's care here and then our two children (17 and 13). Wish we had done so much sooner! read more

Worst dentist ever. Did a crown after a very poorly done root canal which trapped decay underneath a crown. (meaning they didn't do what they were paid to do...) Two weeks ago my mother had inconveniently scheduled an appointment for me before work and arrived on time but stayed in the lobby for over an hour past my scheduled time. I couldn't wait any longer so I politely asked the receptionist if we could rescheduled because I had work within the next hour. For some reason this was a problem to one of the receptionist who insisted I would not be seen because I had missed so many appointments but upon inspection they didn't have my correct phone number at the time which is why I was not receiving updates. but even more so I wasn't scheduling those appointments and I was not receiving updates about them. However, more recently I was late to an 8:15 am appointment by 20 minutes at the most due to traffic and as I walk into the building for my dentist appointment one of the two hostess would even look at me or speak to me and the other had an affirmative stance stating that I could no longer be seen by this dentist EVER again? This was the first appointment that I scheduled for myself since I was just becoming an adult but the poor customer service made me waste gas to be told that I wasn't welcomed. So thanks for the shitty service! read more

I just moved from SC to Lincolnton several months ago and trying to find new doctors has been stressful. But overall this dentist office has been great. I saw Dr Ellis and he is very good. I just recently had a temp crown done and he was a lot better than my previous dentist I was seeing in SC.y temp crown fits very well unlike my last temp crown in SC. I have not had any issues with my temp crown coming loose. I would defintly recommend this office. All the staff are very friendly and caring. read more

I've been going here for several years and could not speak more highly of this office. They are always attentive to my needs, friendly, and have great communication. My absolute favorite part is the chairs massage and there's a tv screen to watch as they are working- I'm nervous in dentist offices due to past experiences and find this to make the atmosphere very welcoming and calming. I've recommended all my family and friends go here as well and everyone always returns thanking me for pointing them in the direction of a great dental office! read more

I would and will never go back here. I had fillings done about a month and a half ago. I made a follow up appointment today, as I'm having pain ! They proceeded to tell me the tooth they did a filling on now needs a root canal and a crown, the tooth is now dead since the cavity was so close to my nerve. I think we should have examined the X-rays a bit closer before drilling... So I guess I should have just threw that money away ! Also they performed a filling on my bottom tooth, I'm having pain and extreme sensitivity. So I ask what can we do ? Well champ, give it another month and we'll revisit the issue. He proceeded to tell me it takes awhile to settle, mind you it's been a month... So as I'm leaving, they ask for my insurance card... They were going to charge me for this visit, are you serious. It was a follow up !! Needless to say I still can't drink even the slightest cold fluid, or enjoy dinner. But here's you some 800 mg ibuprofen, that will be good on the liver. read more

Stay away. After working a treatment plan for several months my upper front teeth were pulled in preparation for a partial denture that I was told I would receive in 3 weeks. Today I was told I would not receive the partial for more than another month and a half. When I expressed my frustration with the ever changing timeline I was dropped as a patient WITH NO FRONT TEETH for being rude and disrespectful to staff.
