let me just say I've been going there for years at least six or seven . faith has been my dentist during this time . They encouraged me to get invisalign and then didn't make sure the dental work that they did would fit in my Invisalign. I had to call them and ask them to fix it and then it became really loose and I wanted them to pay for the just the top Invisalign that they ruined. They said they would and then a month or two later they billed me for the rest. I talked with the manager and she was with me on them, taking care of the payment and then they reneged on me. They lie and they do anything they can to get money.As you can see their reviews are bad . My hygienist was the best though ! Tina is amazing! I went to the same family dentist for 36 years until he finally retired. He was awesome! Cleaned your teeth and cared about his patients - never looking to upsell ! I have been searching now for over 10 years to find a good, honest dentist to rely on and bring my family to. But I have not had any success. Seems that most companies, especially the large fancy ones, only care about what they can get out of you - and at your financial and physical expense. I went in for a simple cleaning. No issues. First they wanted to take about 20 X-rays. I told them I did not have insurance, and they told me - as a new patient, it would only cost $99 for the first visit. Perfect right?! Well, they then proceeded to tell me that I had periodontal disease and I needed a deep cleaning for $1000!!! When I respectfully denied the treatment, they told me that I had to sign a waiver that I rejected the treatment, or they would not proceed with the simple routine cleaning that I had come in for in the first place! They had 3 different people come into the room to try to coerce me into the treatment. They also informed me that I had 2 cavities, which I do not believe. The place seemed like a total scam - posters on the walls about periodontal disease and oral cancer to name a few.. After seeing the other reviews on Yelp, I wish I had checked here first! The hygienist Rebecca was very nice and did a good job. I feel bad for her having to work in such a high pressure sales environment. My search for a good, honest dental practice continues! read more

Don't waste your time or money! As soon as they get a chance to steal your money they'll dodge your calls for weeks. Apparently there's never anyone available in the billing department & the office manager doesn't exist. Don't worry though, they have plenty of time to respond to reviews but not update patients. I mean, have you ever in your life had to pay for a cleaning... you know the 2 a year your insurance company pays for you to have? Me either... until I went to this place. The entire visit they try to sell you on extra services just to up the out of pocket cost you'll have to pay at the end. Seriously, find a different dentist. This one isn't worth the headache - save that for the department of state & board of dentistry! read more

I am not someone who usually writes reviews, but today I am livid. Today (June 16th) I was rescheduled to have an appointment at Penn Premier Dental in Exton, PA. I woke up at 5:30 a.m. and was on the road by 6:30 a.m. to make my 7:00 a.m. appointment. When I arrived, I noticed that the parking lot was empty and that all of the lights were off, weird. There was a note on the door telling patients to wait in their cars and to call a customer service number to let them know you arrived for your appointment. I called the number and after several moments of waiting on the line, a customer service representative answered and told me she would let the office know that I arrived. Here is where everything falls apart. I got out of my car and waited by the door to see if I saw any signs of life. No sooner had I gotten out of my car, a number from Illinois popped up on my phone (as mentioned above, I'm in Pennsylvania). I answered and it was the same customer service woman. She told me that she did not see an appointment for me for this morning and asked me to repeat my last name. I told her I had received email and text confirmations for my appointment (screenshots below from Thursday, June 11th). I originally had an appointment scheduled in March around the time of the COVID-19 lockdown and rescheduled the appointment for this morning back then. It's been on my calendar for weeks! The woman told me that there was a note saying that someone tried to call me on June 12th to reschedule my appointment because the office changed their hours to open at 9:00 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m. I DID NOT RECEIVE A CALL OR A VOICEMAIL TO RESCHEDULE. I drove out of my way, used up my time and gas, changed my work schedule, only to find out that they wouldn't be around for my appointment. The woman asked if I would like to reschedule, again, and I let her know I would be finding a new, and more professional, dentist in the area. Aside from today's awful service, I found that they were very pushy with trying to persuade me into additional, and unnecessary, dental services such as getting caps on all of my teeth to "prevent cavities". I had 2 appointments before today where they tried to push these services on me. I regularly get my teeth checked, have never had a cavity, and had gone to a dentist for years that always complimented my dental structure and hygiene. In addition to the pushiness, a few months ago Penn Premier Dental sent me a mysterious bill in the mail for $20. I always pay for my services after my appointments and have no idea why they would be mailing me a bill and charging me $20. Again, no one called me or left a voicemail to explain. The practice would have been bearable if they had better communication with their patients. Do not go to Penn Premier Dental if you value good patient communication. read more

I'm the first one to post a review when things aren't good with a business, and I have to say the other reviews on here don't reflect the character of this organization. Dental care here is top-notch...they actually caught a problem for me that two other dental practices in the year before I started here somehow missed. I've had a couple billing issues, which isn't surprising given how that works in this country, but I was able to work them out with the staff's cooperation and that's the important thing. Everything has worked out well here for me and my family. I've been a patient here for a few years now and will continue to be, with confidence. read more

I went to Penn Premier Dental to replace a couple of fillings that had fallen out. I was informed that I needed root canals in those two teeth as well as having about ten cavities. With insurance covering about $2000.00 per year I was told that the balance for their work would come to $5000.00!! Needless to say I got a second opinion and found that the fillings likely just need to be replaced (no root canals) and that aside from them I only had ONE cavity. Total cost out of pocket? About $250.00! How do these people stay in business?? read more

Poor follow up cost me major dollars. Had a tooth pulled by an oral surgeon in early October 2018 and needed Dr Madden to meet with him about a new dental appliance for me. Needed it done by end of 2018 so insurance would cover most of the cost (several thousand dollars). Called five times to get back in but Dr Madden never followed up with the oral surgeon. So now it's 2019 and I have to find a new dentist who won't waste my time and money. read more

Worst. Sat in the chair while a non experienced non professional took about 30 xray of my teeth. Then the dental assistant came in to do it correctly. They did not know I was a licensed XRay technologist. Then they came in with a contract to treat my gum disease. No I don't have gum disease as confirmed by my regular dentist the next day. Why did I go there? Good question. Thought they were more advanced. They are not. Just a scam shop. Be careful as they need to pay for a new place and all new equipment. I stayed with this office when they moved from mall. And while the new location is nice new and comfortable, the staff are inexperienced, have uncaring bedside manner and the dentist is not much better. I still have a crown that feels uncomfortable and rough -and her response was " well it is a crown so will always feel different in your mouth" but that's NOT true of my other crowns. I think they are overly interventionist constantly telling you about more work and I'm switching dentists. The location is convenient but don't let a new office be the only reason you go there. read more

It had been embarrassingly long since I had been to the dentist. The hygienist was great here, very friendly and knowledgeable. She was concerned about making sure I was comfortable during my cleaning as it had been a upwards of 5 years between my dental visits. The dentist was also very friendly and showed me my xrays and images of my teeth then explained where I needed fillings and where my crossbite was while reviewing the images with me. I admit I was skeptical after reading the 2 negative reviews thinking I was going to be ripped off but at the same time it had been so long I wouldn't be surprised if I needed a lot done. I either got lucky, their staff changed, or those reviews were blown out of proportion. If they are such unpleasant scam artists you would think my situation would be the easiest to take advantage of. read more

Went here for two years and felt that they were overly aggressive in scheduling cleanings (4 times per year) and that they pushed too hard on removing older fillings (no pain or issues). Two of the older fillings they removed ended up with my having to undergo root canals and crowns. I moved to another dentist in 2017 and am now in the process of having to get a new crown that was put in by Penn Premier Dental less than 4 years ago as it was not put in correctly and decay had gotten in under the crown. read more

RIP OFF! Talk about a bait and switch! False advertising, FRAUD. They have a ad on their website for first time patients for $59/cleaning and x-ray. I told them I did not want this to go to my insurance as the $59 was a great deal. I get a claim from my insurance for $1525! Here they did "treatments" I did not want, need or ask for, but told me were included in the "cleaning" and then charged my insurance company! They charged me $20 just to wipe fluoride on my teeth! Such a rip-off! If I had known they were going to steal all these "hidden fees" from me I would have left immediately. I would have NEVER agreed to a $1525 cleaning! I went into the office for a $59 cleaning as their ad indicated that was all I wanted. Find yourself another dentist!! read more
