When I booked the appointment a week and a half prior, she stated she would email the intake paperwork. I never received it, despite getting standard text and email confirmations. When we arrived 10 minutes early, she snootily told us we hadn't filled out the paperwork and demanded we do it "as fast as we can" so we wouldn't be late. When I explained that we never received it, her literal response was a dismissive, "Oh well..." To make matters worse, while I was in the exam room with my son, my wife overheard a dental assistant ask the receptionist if she had ordered/requested the paperwork she previously asked for, to which she lazily replied, "Do you need it?" The petty behavior continued at checkout. My son got to pick out a toy, and being two years old, he changed his mind a minute later and wanted a different color. The receptionist aggressively butted in to say, "Oh no! He can't, he already put his mouth on it." Whether he did or didn't, it was obvious she only said it to be intentionally difficult. Dealing with a toddler in the "terrible twos" is hard enough, and her attitude resulted in a miserable car ride home for us. Front desk staff are the face of a pediatric practice. Because of the receptionist from hell, we will absolutely never step foot in this office again.

The entire team is outstanding. From the moment we arrive, the staff make us feel welcomed and at ease. They are kind and genuinely attentive to our daughter. I had a tooth cleaned of amalgam filling, it was leaking into my tooth from having it for so long…read more They had to do a root canal and placed a temp crown, which for some reason was extremely comfortable, once they changed it out to the permanent one it was all bad. Went back Dr.Wong, he didn't like it, replaced it no charge. Having issues with it again. My whole cheek, neck, and ear are hurting now. Extreme pain. Had another tooth on opposite side get "fixed" root canal unsuccessful seems they didn't get the nerves because they couldn't see them, I'm in horrible pain when it gets exposed to hot or cold temps. That tooth they recommend I go to a specialist to get the root canal done correctly, and so they could finish the job by placing a crown. I'm in so much pain now on both sides of my mouth. Dental visits aren't cheap, and I feel they should fix the problem they created. But I have no trust in continuing to trust them with my teeth. I feel they will only make it worse.Again.

I originally brought my girls here since, at the time, I have Delta Denta and Medi-Cal. the staff…read moreis nice and great with kids. This is where the good ends. My girls first appointment went well. filled one cavity in one child and cleaned boths girls' teeth. They told me my older daughter would need a root canal on an adult tooth. She was, I believe, 10 at the time. They do not refer out but they gave me a referral to take to an endodontist of my choice. I tried to take her to Salida Surgery but they refused to sedate for a root canal. I ended up having to call several dentists. She had to see and adult endodontist because it was ana adult tooth and NO one would see her. Finally found a place outside my area in the Easy Bay. The total for her sedation and root canal came out to nearly $5000 out of pocket. I paid it. I took my daughter back in for her 6th month check up and the dentist was now saying she needed 2 more root canals. It makes no sense that they did not catch this before or that her endodontist didnt catch it less than 6 months later. I decided to take my girls to Dr. Filbruns office, where I go. The denitst did a full Xray of my childs mouth and said she might possibly need 1 root canal but we might be able to just do a regular filling if its not too deep. If it is too deep we can refer her out immediately. 1 possible root canal. Not 2 definite root canals. She also didnt understand how they would have missed it if it was only 6 months earlier that she had been suggested the first. Its ridiculous that doctors like this one take advantage of the welfare system and the ignorance of their patience or their patient's parents. They are entrusted to be honest but this is not honesty. And absolute piracy. Any typical welfare parents would have just did what the doctor said to do and put their kids in unnecessary pain because they don't have to fork out the money or lose time at work. What is sad is all welfare dentists treat their patients like this. They add on unnecessary work because they know Medi-Cal will pay it out. They are greedy. Had I not got a second opinion, i would be looking at another $6k out if my pocket, at least. Instead, It might be as much as only $300. $150 for filling and $150 more if she needs the root canal after all. And my dentist has someone they can refer her out to, unlike Children's Choice.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to obtain even that from your office. The lack of communication, urgency, and follow-through while my child continues to suffer is completely unacceptable.

Dr. Hart throughly explained my options and fitted me with a custom dental device similar to a retainer. After years of waking up multiple times a night, I can finally wake up feeling rested.
