What a horrible experience I had at this dentistry , the dentist Dilawrjit Kaur had to prepare a tooth for a crown , she unnecessarily cut and injured my gum for no reason , she is either a horrible dentist or she cut me on purpose, and I had a teeth cleaning done there also that was a horrible cleaning done and I had to file a claim with my insurance company for incomplete job . Lied about costs, especially how much their dental plan covers. They even charged me for what the plan was supposed to pay and it was a fight to get the bill reversed. I had been going in every three months. I had 1 X-ray at the beginning. was told I had cavities and had them repaired. Went in for a check up and with the same x-ray from a year ago they said I needed several root canals to save my teeth. They became a lot less friendly when I asked how was this not caught before with all the other work? Dentist said oh it's on the gum line so it can develop faster. I said true however you are pointing and getting this info from a year old scan and Ive been in every three months. No answers and they took my bip off and sent me to the waiting area. read more

Stay away. Upselling you is their habit. They are very unpleasant if you dare call them on any of their advice or assessment of your dental needs. Very argumentative. Especially their office manager. ZERO out of 5 stars. No points at all for the front office manager. She was rude, easily offended if you make any negative comments about their office procedures or call them on upselling you to a more expensive product. That's what I did. They are ruthless and greedy and sweet talk you into a more expensive treatment plan. I noticed overcharging for their services and products yet claiming that you needed a better product to be completely satisfied. Huh? Really? They scare you into worrying that if you don't listen to them and their "treatment plan" you will not be happy with the finished outcome. They treated me quite coldly and more "business like" rather then as a patient needing help from a "care" facility. Trying to get my money back. They never even began treatment, yet charged up front for it. $2,500.00 and that was only the first of 3 payments. They wanted $3,000.00 more. What happened to Dentist does work FIRST, then gets paid??? Seriously, stay away from them. I'm 67 years old and feel like I've literally undergone Elder Abuse by a dental provider. Office manager literally kicked me out of their office after threatening me she would call cops. Nice, huh?! Customer care is NONEXISTENT. Addendum: I got most of my money back. They at least did that right!!! Addendum #2: I checked my bank account and the "pending deposit" from Aspen, to refund me, disappeared. Gone! Did they decide to DENY me my refund? Asspen Dental, you are seriously some unscrupulous people. Addendum #3: ASSpen has done the right thing, the ethical thing, and returned my major down payment. Finally! Now I just need the remaining $295.00 they still owe my other account and then I'll feel good. Addendum #4 They still have NOT returned all my money. They still owe me $295 and I expected it after the 1st of May. Nope. Nothing yet. I will continue to do updates till they do the right thing and get that money back to me. i went there few months ago and for a visit and with my insurance they would asked for additional $4000 for a single tooth implant. I decided to get second opinion and asked for my x-rays and images that i paid for..i have sent out numerous emails and made calls and filled forms and still nothing. I came here to get my in Invisalign, and I love it! I always have Diana when I come to my appointments and I love her. Super friendly and honest. The other woman that cleans my teeth is super friendly too. I just can't remember her name. I've never had a bad experience with anyone or anything here. Do not go to Aspen Dental. Especially this one . I have been on the phone with Bank of Missouri , who transferred me to Genesis bank. I found out that this Dental office opened up a credit account for services I had denied. The woman clearly told me that it would be a soft pull , then I could deny or approve the services if I don't like the finance offer. But After seeing the 29 percent APR I decided to just save up and upgrade my insurance. I walked in , and they were able to see me right away. They did my x-rays and exam so quickly , and were able to come up with a plan. I didn't want to do the servicing because the out of pocket cost was more than i could afford even with my insurance . The exam and X-rays were done very well and professionally. The front desk and staff were very nice. However , now I feel It was a scammed. I did research on Aspen dental and saw the lawsuits and claims that ended up being true for me. Thankfully I didn't agree to the credit , but now find myself calling banks, and disputing my credit report . This ding on my credit report now hurts me from my future financial decisions . I tried called to speak to the manager , and was never called back . I will be exploring legal action now. read more

I paid over $2000 to get Invisalign from them, they told me the whole process will be covered with that money. In 2022 I went in for my first appointment to get the Invisalign where I was told by there. "Manager" or whoever the fat office lady was, that I have to pay over $300 every approximately six months to get a deep cleaning done because they cannot do the Invisalign without Cleaning every few months. I talked to the lady about how I was told. Everything should be covered in the amount I was paying through care credit, the card they offered. She said oh we are sorry that you were not properly informed about the extra cleaning money. The ultimatum I had at the time was either all my money is gone and I say I don't want Invisalign or continue with that and pay the extra cleaning money too. I decided to go with the extra money. Come to find out it's not even Invisalign. It's some generic company called Smile Care or whatever its called. They glued plastic place holders on my teeth to hold the smile care in place (which Invisalign does not do). There were total 20 brackets (retainers) that we were supposed to fix my teeth. After bracket six none of them fit me anymore. I contact them only to receive a cold shoulder. I decided it was OK that they played me and I will just get rid of the plastic place holders that they glued on my teeth from them. I contacted them a few weeks ago to get them removed and they said it would cost money to come in and get them removed since the doctor is different. All of the employees working there are money hungry parasites. I repeatedly told the lady that we were removing the stuff you put on my teeth should be covered under the money I paid. She said no. Tell me in what world if you pay for something to be done they don't do it. Do not come to this place all they care about is your money they do not give a single flying f**k about u. I want to sue them to the ground. If some social media intern replies with some generic ass answer such as "contact us on this number or email", I have over 70,000 followers on social media where I will blast them for who they are. Reply with dignity or do not reply at all, if u have any!! Fake a** people I've been a nurse for many years by the way, working in many different hospitals and facilities, I know how scumbags work. Hi! This is a review for the dental surgery team that comes to Aspen Dental Modesto once a month. I have a review for the actual office in Google Reviews. About the team, they were absolutely amazing! I was a huge ball of anxiety when I walked in, but I left feeling great. Pros - The general anesthesia knocked me out so good. My last memory in the office was that second pump of anesthesia and the next I woke up, I was already on the ride home in the passenger's seat. - Super fast! Set up took about 40 minutes from waiting room to anesthesia. 25 minutes for surgery (got 5 teeth out). 15 minutes for me to wake up and be transferred to my car. - They gave me paper instructions on what to do at home and other things I needed like gauze, a flush, etc. That combined with my extensive list from website blogs on what and what not to do, my recovery was pretty easy and pain free. If anything, I was mainly sore, but that's it. I didn't get dry socket which was my biggest relief. Con - They sent my medicine to where I previously lived instead of the Target CVS close by where I told them to send the medicine when I called in a few days beforehand. I was told over the phone that they changed it, but I guess not. I wasn't conscious when my partner spoke to them so I couldn't fight for it to be changed, so we had to drive all the way to Brentwood (which was an hour away) to grab the meds then drive back to Lathrop where we live because they couldn't be bothered to switch the pharmacy they sent the drugs to. I was so nauseous from the 2hr drive by the time we got back home. PLEASE verify the pharmacy your meds will be located before you go for surgery so yall don't have the same mishap. The Target CVS pharmacy is literally so close to Aspen. I don't mind going through the process again as long as the medicine situation was correct. I was super comfy and everyone was so nice. read more

Did my consultation and set up appointment for my wisdom teeth removal. Did my credit line, paid a down payment went through my insurance. For them to call me 5 days later and say they can't do it and my credit line will be canceled but I am still receiving emails saying it's active. Money is being pulled from my account. I can't get the dentist on the phone. They ignore my call or answer and put me on hold. My beloved went to Aspen because of a major toothache. Upon her initial examination, it was determined that she was in need of far more than attention to one tooth. The practice's oral surgeon was immediately brought in and after his examination it was apparent that she was in need of rather extensive oral surgery and being fitted with a full set of dentures combining both a removable upper plate and a two-implant post lower. As might be expected that is rather more expensive than treating a single tooth. They, however, did an outstanding job of working "the numbers" to reduce the final cost by literally thousands of dollars. The young lady who submitted our financials for the resulting required loan was a miracle worker. Without her efforts over and above we would not have been able to afford what my wife needed. Thank you, Ali (Alli?)! I can wholeheartedly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone seeking dental care. read more

At first it seemed all good to be true. I was told it would only be X amount for all dates / appointments for my service. So I pay the bill and come to find out later I'm being sent bills to pay what was not covered when I was already told I was covered for this at the location. Is there some sort of method for these dentists spots to at least give us a "Warning"? Maybe I should of done my homework on what was covered or not. I've never had this bad of an experience dealing with bills because of the ignorance of the billing dept. However come to find out later that I'm being charged over 2000 dollars because of waiting periods on my insurance. Why did Aspen Dental tell me I was covered when I wasn't really covered? Is this because of my own ignorance to waiting periods or were they holding out on this info? I was not told about any waiting periods except for the words " We cover this X amount and your insurance covers the rest". This behavior of this franchise is just weird and a misrepresentation of good customer service. I recommend stay away, and talk to a Dentist who will really give you the breakdown on what's covered or do your own homework. read more

Worse customer service ever! I was in major pain from my wisdom tooth, they took x rays and I was evaluated. They were truly more concerned about the payment. They had all my insurance info However, most of the time, I was asked questions about coverage. In addition, I was not given pain medicine. I was sent home for a specialist appt. I asked for meds. I went in for a cleaning. They wanted X-rays. I told them I just had xrays and my insurance wouldn't cover again. Two different people told me they were free... that Aspen likes to take their own X-rays. After X-rays they refused to clean my teeth saying I could only have a $500 deep cleaning. I religiously have my teeth cleaned every 5 mos, and refused this procedure. Two weeks later received a bill for $156.00. I had nothing done except xrays, and the dentist NEVER even looked in my mouth. read more

I had a good experience with Aspen dental. They were very helpful and got me in right away as a new patient. I had been up all night with a tooth ache and for them to fit me in that day and to extract the tooth that same day was a blessing for me. When I got to the office to the time I left everyone I encountered was helpful and nice. The dentist was very kind and was concerned about me being as comfortable as possible, especially when it came to pain, she would ask me periodically if I was ok and if I was in any pain at all so she could numb more if needed. I went to Aspen Dental on Sisk rd. In Modesto to have a tooth extracted. When I arrived, they asked what brought me in, I explained that I had a broken tooth and was in alot of pain and needed the broken tooth removed. At that point I was there over an hour getting x-rays, 3D mouth scans, saw the hygienist, all the time thinking, all this for a tooth extraction?? When all the exams were done, we had talked a little about a bridge or implant and I told them again, I don't want anything other than a tooth extracted because the tooth was broken and the nerve was exposed and I was in extreem pain. So they said it was to late in the day to remove the tooth, to come back the next day and they would remove it then. I went to pay up for that day and they wanted to charge me over $3000 for Bone graphs, Implants, and other procedures I did not agree to. So when all was said and done I payed $360 for the tooth extraction or they wouldn't schedule the next days procedure. When I got home that night, my wife and I were looking over the paperwork that I recieved and they were billing me for a bone graph which was $330, and on top of that, when I got there the next day, they would not remove the tooth cause, they said my blood pressure was too high and they would not give me any novocane to numb the pain so my blood pressure would come down. They ended up telling me they could not do the tooth extraction at all. I will never ever go to them again. They try and rip you off and upsell you. I have not received a refund yet for the work that they did not do. I can't post the review unless I click on The Star. I wish I could give them zero stars. read more

This was the 4th dental office I researched/visited for my in depth work needed, combined with my fear of dentists! I was warmly greeted and treated with the utmost care by the entire staff. *Dr. Farah listened to my needs and concerned, and carefully examined my mouth without upsetting a nerve. LOL *Adriana knows that front desk requires a smile on and off the phones, and efficiency works with her patients. She handles everything professionally and even temperature checks during covid-19, adding that extra measure of precaution in the office. any information requested was right at her fingertips! *Vanessa and Melissa both made me feel not only comfortable but we had many laughs throughout the entire process. I was able to remain relaxed at all time and actually looked forward to each visit. Who does that?? LOL *Kiran sounds like an amazing person also but I moved out of state before we had a chance to work on my hygiene. I wouldn't trust anyone else for my continuing care...so I will work with her in the near future. I will be more than happy to continue my care with this office even though I am now in Nevada. I understand there would be additional extraction fees but he was presented with a $5k quote. That was even after our insurance reduction! What happened to the $399 dentures??? As someone who fears the dental office, I felt totally at ease here. My dentist retired a few years ago and I hadn't found an adequate replacement... Until now. Screw this place. Called on Sunday for an emergency dental appointment. They scheduled me for Monday to fix my tooth. Keep in mind ,I told them on Sunday what my emergency was. They were willing to fix if for me on Monday. Hence the emergency appointment They advertised on there website. I got there early Monday, filled out my paperwork work, went in for my xray. Then I was told that they can not accommodate me today, an that they will reschedule me in a couple of day. AVOID THID PLACE AT ALL COST. They charged my insurance, and wasted my time . Sara and Dr. Farrah are awesome! This was my 7 year olds first time in and she was so nervous... they were both super gentle and explained what they were doing to her very clearly and thoroughly. My daughter became very comfort with them and that made feel a lot more comfortable as well. I had my first checkup appointment here yesterday because I wanted to try a new dental office. The customer service here is amazing! The staff truly cares about you and your needs. When I was first taken back for xrays, the assistant explained everything he was doing and was so kind in starting conversation with me. As soon as the xrays were done, I was seated in one of the rooms and soon after, the dental assistant Paula inspected my teeth and was quick to explain what was going on with every thing she did and what I would need. While I was waiting for the dentist, they offered to bring me water or snacks and also had a tv in the room while I waited. It was such a calm experience and the staff makes you feel so comfortable. They really work together to take care of you. The dentist introduced himself and was just as kind and caring as the rest of the staff. I love that they all work together so well and give report to each other in front of the patient so everyone is well informed. Thank you Aspen dental for a great experience! read more
