Ian, a Sutton engineer, spent a number of hours reviewing our needs. He was very thorough and professional. He developed a plan for replacing the system and left us with a detailed plan to install a new system. Sutton Brothers' price appeared to be very reasonable and they would be able to install our system within a few weeks. We interviewed another firm, to do our due diligence. They came up three solutions that ranged from 40% to 120% more than Sutton Brothers. We selected Sutton Brothers. Tito and his partner Eduardo installed the ac and heating on our schedule, arrived on time and completed the job within eight hours, and left the property better than when they arrived. Fearing the worst, I was pleasantly surprised to learn the service call and replacement part would only cost $150. I have NEVER had a tradesman come to my home for under $250. Because they did not fulfill their agreement, I requested an immediate refund. They responded by email and told me that they will refund my money but they do not know when that will happen. I filed a BBB complaint which they never answered. It has now been two months since they cancelled my inspection and I have received NO refund. They should be reported to the NC Attorney General for misconduct.
