Usually a 1 for "incidental" charges but this hotel is a great stop - looks newly renovated and staff friendly. Good selection at breakfast and indoor pool and hot tub is really nice. Rooms have no more carpet which is great ! The issue for most travelers is the "incidental" charges hold - $100. Having this hold in a hotel with no restaurant, no room service, no bar and no - incidentals means it is a money grab. Travelers have another $100 hold on cards they need to travel. Takes days for the credit card to put it back on - and for what? Can't order anything - so the hotel owner is trying to boost average daily balance and have cash extra day. (Or could be) Can't be a damage hold as no one will pay that and just do a chargeback - Then when issues arise with the returned money the hotel blames the bank. The credit card company - even a mistake where they "forgot" to replace it. And I've had it all happen in my travel days. If there have been issues with unruly guests in the past that led to holding extra money then who would want to stay if dangerous? No, the incidental charge holds needs to go. A 5 star rating for sure - except for the extra attention I need to do for making sure the money is returned. Hold or not - the money is gone from my account and can't use it. read more

Great location right near the interstate. Close to Warner robins but away from all the traffic. Minutes away from wal-mart and steps away from Cracker Barrel. Clean interior. Nice lobby - business center with 2 computers, ATM machine, recycling trash can, info magazines, nice comfy chairs. Behind the lobby is the sitting/dining area. Off to the left is an another sitting area with a large flat screen and fireplace. A beautiful biew of the enclosed pool behind the dining area. We were able to use the stairs in and out of the hotel and you had to swipe your card to get into the building. Outside the back of the building were 2 colorful benches. I believe the entire hotel is smoke free. The area was really quiet and no people were hanging around outside considering it was near the interstate. Check was easy and hassle free. Thankfully the hotel is only 2 flights. The room was nice and clean. Nice comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Our room the bathroom consisted of tub/shower and toilet. The sink was located outside the bathroom. If only hotels invested in more comfortable towels - they are so abrasive and rough. But now I travel with my own towels. The room consisted of decent size fridge, microwave, table with chair, sitting chair, alarm clock with 2 usb ports for device charging, 2 queen size beds and a closet. The rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast - from 0630-0930. Great selection, individually wrapped pastries (like honey buns), muffins, bread, bagels, got food - sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, coffee, milk, 3 cereal options, individual variety packets of grits and oatmeal, fresh fruit - bananas and apples, waffle maker - mini waffles or the large waffles, syrup canister, fridge with yogurt and boiled eggs. The area was squeaky clean and never crowded. Overall the hotel stay was very pleasant and I would highly recommend it. read more

This is a nice hotel. It wasn't expensive and the rooms are very clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice. This hotel is unique in that you have two doors to your room. The door to the hallway and a back door directly behind the parking lot! I backed into the spot and it was directly behind my room. Literally steps away from your the door. It was so convenient to unload your suitcase and all of your stuff into your room. The breakfast was pretty good. They had eggs, sausage and biscuit with gravy. There were two waffle makers available. For the healthy conscious person, they had yogurt, fruit, and hard boiled eggs. There was also an assortment of cereal, bagels, small muffins, and danishes. Drinks available were your coffee, decaf, juices (apple, orange, passion juice). There coffee was pretty good. I think the breakfast was very decent considering the price of my stay. The pool is very nice it is actually enclosed. There is an outside patio if you want to get some sun. Overall very nice hotel for the price! read more

We stayed one night on October 4, 2022. We would NEVER stay again. Dirty/stained sheets, very dark in the room due to poor lighting, cobwebs hanging from the lamps, furniture from the late 60's or early 70's. Elderly lady who checked us in wasn't friendly at all. After 14 hours of being on the road, all we wanted was a clean room. There was also a smell in the room. Upon checkout, I spoke to the General Manager, Linda Stanley. She asked if we asked to be moved. Again, we had been on the road for 14 hours, on our way to funeral services. Ms. Stanley did say she had just recently fired the housekeeper for not getting stains out of the sheets. Do not waste your time and certainly not your money! read more

Tried to get a hotel room here - mind you, I am a Choice member and have been since 2012. The desk clown who answered the phone basically advised me that their only rooms left would cost me $135 a night. I advised him that just before midnight, I got the cost from the app at $118 a night. He told me it is after midnight (00:05 to be exact - I was gassing my car less than 0.5 mi from the hotel) and the price is $135. Great way to treat a business customer, dude! I am trying to get home to FL to handle my mother who is in the hospital. You get the shame award of the year for poor customer service and I will make bloody well sure no one from my company will stay with you - EVER. read more

This hotel is a gem. $79/night for two people in a king room. Sparkling clean, smells fresh, spacious. Comfortable bed with normal size pillows and nice duvet. Microwave, flat screen tv, refrigerator in all rooms. Easily accessible built in USB ports and extra power outlets. Large desk, comfortable sofa and side chair. Unique feature on ground floor rooms of being able to access indoor corridors and outside parking from the room via two doors. All staff was well-groomed, professional, efficient, pleasant. Fairly extensive breakfast bar with adequate seating. Waffle maker, hot sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs. Coffee, tea, milk, juices. Yogurt, danishes, bread and toaster, dry cereal and instant packs of grits and oatmeal. Whole fresh fruit. I can't say enough nice about this place. Wish it was on a regular route we travel. Clean, comfortable beds & pillows, staff helpful and friendly, fridge & microwave in room is an added bonus! We were on a trip that should have taken 6 hours but with the holiday traffic took 9 so our two young boys were bouncing off the walls. Stayed here in the summer of 2014 for a family reunion. Our double bed room was clean and spacious enough for 3 adults and a toddler. Be sure to say how many people will actually be in the room when you reserve the room or they'll charge you more afterwards. The pool was decent though the smell of chlorine in the hall was overwhelming. Hot tub was very warm! Continental breakfast was good. We have stayed here once in July 2013 on a sojurn to Daytona Beach from Chattanooga. We paid $89/night if I remember correctly. They have an indoor pool and a continental breakfast with a waffle maker which was included with the room. They also have a laundromat onsite and a sauna near the pool. My husband and I shared a basic room and my aunt, uncle and their 9 kids got a suite. I am not sure of their pricing but their room was very nice. The only real difference between our room and theirs was a kitchenette area and space (more beds, more overall room and I think they had two bathrooms but dont quote me on that one.) Our room was just as clean and well stocked as the suite. If you want an affordable place to stay over with comfortable and clean beds, a hot shower, and friendly people I would recommend here. We will be returning to stay here if and when we visit Daytona again this summer (2014). read more

Clean and comfortable double queen room. Continental breakfast had extras like biscuits, sausage, and gravy. The pool is in an atrium, and the water is heated but not the room the pool is in. I am not someone who typically reviews any type of services but after my family's experience with this hotel, I felt compelled to share with others. My husband is a youth wrestling coach and this year's state tournament was held in Perry. The state wrestling association worked with local hotels to offer a discounted rate to those of us who were traveling from out of town to the tournament. A team mom booked our room for us, but my husband wanted us to pay for it since he felt the team's parents had already done enough for us. The team mom called to have the room switched to our name. Upon arriving, I noticed the rate was not the one advertised by the state wrestling association. I, of course, inquired about the difference and was told only the manager can change rates once a room is booked. I thought this was completely understandable and told the nice woman I would wait to talk with the manager. The manager of this hotel was not only rude but completely unprofessional, and made no attempt to help. I have never felt so disrespected and wronged in my life. My family was not in Perry for a vacation. We were there to coach and work with children who are not our own as a part of a much larger network who happened to bring this hotel tons of business. Even the owner refused to change the rate. I am writing this review because I still do not understand why you would agree to give participants a certain rate and then refuse them. I can only hope that after reading this review, you will choose to stay somwhere that honors their word. read more
