Loyal Hilton diamond traveler. Hilton is a great brand. This location needs some re training. Room was fine. Location great. Quiet and we had no issues until housekeeping at 0800 starts with the slamming doors - with the night lock open so the door slams every time going in and out. Then proceeds to do it about half hour before I had to go out there and ask WTF??? Everyone on that floor at our end had have heard the loud bangs every three minutes. In and out. BANG. How can an employee have such disregard and disrespect for guests sleeping at 0800 on a Sunday ??? Would have been five stars for us had it not been for this employee. read more

If I could give a one star it would be more fitting. The room smelled moldy and damp when you opened the door. Floors were slick with condensation. There was black mold on the lamp and the wall. As a gold member of Hilton, this was the worst location I've ever visited. Will never ever stop here again. Edit: they did switch my room. The building has issues for sure. We had to move rooms since the AC unit was broken in our first room. You can tell its on its last leg but it provided a place to stay. What I want to report is that the lady at check in, Makayla, deserves credit. She was left alone to help multiple of us and all issues. While helping me with my room change, her manager was condescending to her in front of me. So much so that I felt I had to stand up for her. The manager just stared at me and walked away to her office. The manager Jai needs some management classes. Makayla deserves a raise. Also, the beds are so firm that your legs will go numb. If I could give the woman behind the desk this star only. They were very accommodating and pleasant. I sure have to say that they must put up with quite a bit. I have been a Hilton member for over 20 years. I have to say I have never been subject to a Hampton inn this bad. Our room was dated and not cleaned the best someone's underwear was in the bathroom and a cockroach at t. Ok I always check the sheets they were clean. The sink drain didn't work water wouldn't go down. Gross! I tried 3 different rooms mildew smell in the first new try and the 2nd room dirty feet. I brushed my teeth in the tub no where else to brush. The guest bathroom down stairs was cracked and calked with 2" of the stuff. All in all I sure wouldn't stay. read more

Stayed here a week on business. Trying to drink my coffee in the dining area when overheard a staff screaming at her coworker how awful the management was. 3 of my friends were walking in the hallway, and thought s fight had broken out. The employee then turned her anger on us, and verbally assaulted us. Apparently, she had treated guests like this before but was still working there. Also, had to beg to get my room cleaned. I'm a diamond member with Hilton and travel weekly. If you don't want to be treated like a dog, do not stay here. read more

This was by far the worst property husband and I have ever stayed in Filthy room and bathroom Woke up to bugs in the bed which left bites and swelling all over me. When my husband called they switched our room but with an annoyed attitude. Hilton has fallen so far over the years but this property is a hazard. A Thanksgiving week trip found us broken down along Interstate 75 while driving a Ford F250 Super Duty truck while pulling a 34 foot RV en route to Florida. Our original plan included a night reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Tifton, GA. I had already checked in earlier that day on the Hilton App for our overnight stay. After breaking down and an exhausting time spent beside the Interstate we felt fortunate to locate the Hampton Inn located in Perry, GA. Honestly, a Knights Inn would have been an improvement over this Hampton location. CHECK IN Our experience began with the check-in experience. I could not reserve a room using the digital check-in since I was already checked into the HGI in Tifton. So, I walked into the lobby and up to the front desk where I waited roughly fifteen minutes for the desk clerk/night auditor to come out from the back office area. The desk clerk seemed to think we must be con artists or frauds since we did not have a reservation. Instead of listening to our situation, she needed to see ID and seemed hesitant to lease a room despite only have ten cars in the parking lot at 1:00 AM. I explained our situation but then was interrogated about how I intended to pay. I handed the clerk my Hilton Amex card along with my Hilton hHonors Diamond loyalty card. It was instantly made known that this particular Hampton property has no desire or use for loyal Hilton customers. I think at this point, I should have just walked out and gone to another area hotel since there are so many around. We finally got checked into a room and received a key card. I could tell that I really bothered them to take my $144.75 and they made sure to let us know we really were not welcome. ROOM: The room was older but it was clean and stocked. our room was Room 121 on the first floor. The rooms are older and in desperate need of a refurb. The door has large gaps on all four sides that allow the bright hallway lights to come inside the room, and there is constant noise from the ice machine across the hall and other guests. The outside parking lot lights also shine brightly into the room and the blinds are virtually useless in blocking the light. Highway noise and hall noise left us awake all night as we waited for the local Ford Dealership to open the next morning. CHECK OUT Our check out is the only place this Hampton Inn did not fail miserably. I was able to request and receive a late check out so that we could have time to get our truck into the service garage and pick up a rental car. We were also provided two bottles of cold water when we checked out. The day shift desk clerk did have some people skills and did not seem to hate her guests. Bottom Line, this Hampton Inn is a black mark on the Hilton brand. As a loyal years-long, Hilton customer my brand loyalty will remain with the Hilton brand, but if this had been a casual traveler instead of a traveler with thousands of Hilton experiences I probably would not return to any Hilton property. read more

Not one of my favorite Hampton Ins. This place is very old and worn down. Do not stay in room 119. The light right outside the window will keep your room bright all night long even with both blinds pulled down. Didn't get the breakfast bag because we left way to early because we couldn't sleep. You can hear road noise also. Stains on the bathroom ceiling that looks like mold and the toilet paper dispenser is about to fall out of the wall. For the most part the employees were nice. Nice Longhorns Steakhouse right next door. Beds were very uncomfortable. My wife, daughter and I all thought the beds were awful. read more

Extremely disappointed in the hotel and honestly starting to reconsider the brand. I stayed in a Hampton Inn on the way up to Illinois for a trip and that hotel was horribly horrendous and now again on the way down to Florida pick a different Hampton inn and once again complete dissatisfaction. I mean if they are trying to compete with a starlight $39 hotel then ok they are neck in neck but last I checked Hilton isn't trying to compete with trashy hotels but who knows maybe I'm wrong and that's the way they are going with things. Definitely recommend looking for another place if it wasn't because I have a crew of people I would have left and searched for another place. The staff was friendly and that's the only star worth giving. If not for them I would have said 0 stars. read more

I see now that our experience last Saturday night was typical for many other customers. We should have looked at reviews or other hotels in the area. The Avid just down the street was rated much higher and was $30 cheaper. We've been pleased with Hampton over the years, but this location needs some retooling. The first room key didn't work, the second one worked, but someone's belongings were in the room, the third key for a different room finally worked. The room was filthy; my wife, of 41 years, didn't want to sleep there, but we were pretty tired from a long drive. There was stuff on the walls, empty shampoo, etc. If they don't check the shampoo what else aren't they doing? I expected a full refund, they deducted 20%. This is not over. read more

This hotel is not up to the usual Hilton or Hampton Inn standards. I while the location is good when traveling and you need a convenient place to stay overnight, that's really all it is. Definitely a no-frills location for Hilton Honors members. This is a dated and somewhat dingy hotel. While the rooms seemed clean, they were simply old and in need of serious updating. This hotel doesn't live up to Hampton Inn/Hilton standards. It is shabby, run down, in need of repair and dirty. It is right by the highway, so it is also very noisy. Breakfast was your typical fare, but the coffee was weak, and, again, it had the pall of uncleanliness about it. There are better places to stay close by. Stay there instead. read more

Certainly not what I expect from a Hilton hotel. Television was cheapest cable package with few good stations. Room had a very musty smell. Could hear traffic all night as we were on interstate side. Coffee was very weak. Just had a cheap hotel feel to it. read more

The Hampton Inn in Perry, Ga at exit 136 is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I booked a non-refundable room for four nights, mainly because I've always had good experiences at Hampton Inns in other locations. when we arrived, checked in, and went to our first room, it had black looking mold on the ceiling and the air didn't work, along with a very strong musky smell. Luckily I hadn't unpacked the luggage cart. walked down to the desk and asked to switch rooms. They didn't have any more king beds, so I had to take 2 queen bedroom. I got to my second room, walked in, had that same musky smell but not as bad. got unpacked and was about to get in bed after a long 4.5 hour drive to get here. I went to the bathroom and flushed the toilet after urinating and the toilet almost overflowed and would not drain properly. Needless to say, this was not going to work. I called the front desk and no maintenance people available,so had to move to another room on second floor. I went to front desk to get new room key, the attendant never apologized just handed me the key and said second floor 208. I went up first to look at room to make sure it was okay, and on the way back to the room the attendant asked if that one would work for me extremely sarcastically. I told her all the rooms had that musky smell and I was not happy with the appearance or my experience with the hotel so far. She said, you can talk to the manager tomorrow. I politely said I would do that. I highly recommend you avoid this location! read more

Room stinks of mildew. Keys always lose magnetic access multiple times in a 4 day stay. Second to last day find the carpet floor saturated with water near bathroom hence the mildew smell. Apparently an occurring issue. Multiple clothes even though dirty are now soaked and will need to be cleaned and dried before packing. Advised the front desk. Nothing fixed. Pillows are about 2" thick and need to be folded twice to actually get a rise. TV has a horrible channel lag. Push the changer up or down nothing happens. Push it multiple times you know to make sure it's reading correctly and boom your now up or down 20-30 channels. Won't be back to this place read more

of our travels and the needs of the family, booked 2 rooms. One was to be a king and one was to be 2 queens. It was the two queens that we NEEDED to have. Not a king and pull out, not a king deluxe, two beds in a room (full or queen I didn't care) but two beds. I on purpose chose to pick my rooms knowing the town would be booked at all hotels. I went to check-in, low and behold 2 king suits. They said the app cleared my choices and that my room was given away. This has never ever happened and this kind of trip is not our first rodeo. In addition one of the rooms has a stench and this is like, I feel, staying at the Bates motel. The manager basically said too bad so sad and left. Now I have been on hold with Hilton Head Honors CS for 22 min now! Ugh! read more

I was just here my first issue was the beds very uncomfortable and hard to fall asleep on, secondly the door kept breaking and didn't open 8/10 times, the pool was supposed to be open for another 2 hours but it had a padlock around the door, the breakfast was terrible and was half warm half freezing and after eating, me and my friend feel sick. This must be an older hotel. I'm an honors member and always try to stay at a Hilton. This one was pretty disappointing. The room smelled clean, but I double checked for bugs because of the darkness of the room. The air conditioner didn't work well which made the room hot. The elevator didn't work. You had to constantly push the button or have the front desk do it for you. We can't down for breakfast a little after 9 (ended at 10), and it was clear that what little was left was it - they never refilled anything. The front desk was rude on check in. The walls are thin making all the noises echo. The only saving grace here was the thick comfortable comforters on the bed. Wouldn't stay here again. read more

Rooms smelled mildewy, sheets were stained, and they currently have a roach infestation. We killed two in the first room, asked to be moved, then found another in the second room. By that point, we asked for a refund and left. The receptionist said they had received other complaints about the roaches, yet they have done nothing about it. Don't stay here! read more

The toilet is not clean, carpet is not vacuumed, there are stains on the walls, it is absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Don't know why this Hampton Inn only has 4 stars. Front desk receptionist was efficient but didn't have much personality (maybe she was tired?) But her coworker John was the absolutely most friendly and conscentious assistant. Our initial room was lovely, remodeled, terrific... but the AC/heat unit kicked on & made a terrible racket then sounded like it quit. Called down and was immediately moved to the room next door which was also remodeled and smelled fresh. AC/heat unit is quiet and efficient. Very happy with our stay. read more

This place is an absolute dump that needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I stay in Hampton Inns 5 nights a week and this is the worst one I've ever been in. It is in need of a major upgrade. The rooms are damp and smell like mildew and mold. I called down to the desk to ask them to print something out for me and they couldn't even do that. I will be traveling to this area more in the future, but I will not be staying here. read more

I am a Hilton Honors member & usually stay at Hampton Inn so because they always provide an excellent stay. But we stayed at this hotel last night & it was our worse hotel stay ever!!! While the room was clean the bed was rock hard, the walls so thin you could hear every car on the highway & the pull down shade would not block any light. We used partial points & cash but still cost us over $75. We told the front desk girl about our stay when she asked but never even said she was sorry. This was our first stay in Perry and the Hampton inn was just what we wanted. It is a lil more pricey than some others but the cleanliness, security, and room were worth it, not to mention Piper, the front desk girl, was GREAT and even suggested great local dinner spots (see Rustys downtown grill and bar). It is only a minute from the highway and many local eateries and chain restaurants. AAA discount knocked 10 percent off room by my calculations. Would definitely stop here again! read more

Normally the extra money for a nice(or what we think is nicer) hotel is worth it for us. We didn't make it to Perry until 1 am and we were exhausted. We get put in a double room because it was the only one left and the AC didn't work. So, we ended up sweating all night in South Georgia July heat. We had to drive another 200 miles the next morning on less than 4 hours of sleep. Needless to say, it wasn't worth over $100. If I wanted to sweat to death I could have slept in the car. read more

I checked into the Days Inn, which had to be done in the Ramada Inn (don't ask) in a cloud of incense. I walked into my room off of the dark parking lot and walked right back out. Luckily, the Hampton Inn had a room available for the week and I snagged it. If you're staying in Perry, GA, this would be a 5* hotel. It probably rates a 3-4 in a major city, given the hallways are hot and I found a bit of hair in my bathroom that remains even after each daily cleaning. With that said, remember, you're in Perry. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the rooms upgraded but the curtains do very little to block out the bright outside lights and sun. I-75 is loud but if you bring ear plugs it's no problem. A used towel helps block the light under the scroll shade. The breakfasts are abysmal. Over cooked egg concoctions and no hard boiled eggs. At least Waffle House is across the street. Decent food and shopping can be found 10 miles north in Warner Robins. Unfortunately, no pets allowed. read more

Falls far short of our Hampton Inn experience and expectations. Desk clerk said he would discount our rooms, but did not. Morning desk clerk knew nothing about it upon check out. This hotel is gross! I arrived at 1:00 am after a 7 hour drive exhausted. The 1st room they gave me smelled like mold so bad I couldn't even walk in the room. The next room had a dirty towel on the back of the door, hair on the toilet seat and the toilet bowl didn't look clean. The exhaust in the bathroom is garbage. So after a hot shower expect your floor to remain wet. And no laundry mat on site? No laundry in town either so i would think they would have one here like other hamptons do. Might wanna consider other locations if possible. read more

The room was clean and the person who cleaned the room did a good job. The front desk staff was friendly. I have 2 complaints that warrant 1 Star. The price quoted online and the price they charged my card were 2 different prices. I explained this to the young lady at the desk. She says because of taxes that's why it's different. I explained to her my online price should still be the same as this is the price I was quoted upon reserving. She then says to call her manager because she can't do anything about the pricing. Secondly breakfast was a joke. Once the food ran out it took the person who is responsible for the food 45 minutes to an hour to replace the food. We had people knock on her door for cups forks and food in general. She comes out with an attitude and did not want to serve us (African Americans). She then went to gossip about us to the front desk person instead of doing her job. I am very disappointed in Hilton and Hampton Inn Perry FL. read more

This Hampton was newly renovated in 2014 and its nice. Rooms are large and fairly clean. They skimped on some of the renovations and quality. The eating area was very nice. Usually we get offered complimentary bottles of water and breakfast to go in a bag. Not this one. The lady at the front desk gave us two bottles of water but definitely wasn't happy about it. The hotel Is a little pricier than the others. We will look for another hotel or next time through. read more

After traveling 15 hours Ashlee at the front desk was a complete nightmare! I asked to speak to a manager about my bill. She gets on the phone acting like a manager and gets very rude after I ask her why I was not informed about the $10 per room fee upon check in. Unable to answer my questions I'm told there is no manager on duty and to deal with it the next morning because she didn't know what to tell me. I ask why she posed as a manager and why she was being rude on the phone. She hangs up on me. I go to the front desk to get things settled. She threatens to put me, my mother, 3 kids and husband out of the hotel with no refund because she was caught in a lie and I asked for her management. We were told the manager ain't here, manager ain't coming up here and manager ain't givin us nothing. We only asked for clarification about our bill and respect. She was also rude to the elderly couple in front of me. Emailed the general manager. Got no reply! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. read more
