Very clean and a good morning breakfast. I guess I'm supposed to say more than that but you get the point.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Warner Robins and let me just say... this place really lives…read moreby its motto: "this is how we roll." Unfortunately, the only thing rolling was my patience right out the door. Let's start with the room--apparently towels and washcloths are now considered luxury add-ons. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told to come back in an hour... like I was reserving spa time instead of trying to take a basic shower. I returned, hopeful and naive, only to be handed what can only be described as a pool towel and a couple of hand towels. Nothing says "refreshing stay" like drying off with something the size of a napkin. The remote control didn't work because the batteries were dead (a nice throwback to 1998), and the body wash in the shower was completely empty. Had to go back and request soap like I was bartering for rare goods. Now, let's talk about the lobby situation--which appeared to be staffed by exactly one human being for the entire building. Shoutout to Ray, who was somehow juggling a line of guests checking in, people demanding towels, broken room keys, and--my personal favorite--a full-blown "room key shortage." Yes, apparently keys are now a limited resource. Despite the chaos, Ray was genuinely pleasant and impressively patient, which is the only reason this review isn't just a string of exclamation points. Now, breakfast. I went down at 8:30, which I thought was a reasonable, adult time. Apparently not. The selection was... minimal, and by minimal I mean "are we closing?" The highlight? A sign proudly declaring "this is how we roll" placed directly above an empty cinnamon roll case. Bold. Inspiring. Slightly insulting. Overall, if you enjoy scavenger hunts for basic amenities, ironic breakfast signage, and the thrill of possibly not getting a room key, this is your place. Otherwise, you might want to roll on to literally anywhere else.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights. The location is perfect. There's a Walmart, Kroger, and plenty of places to eat near by. The best part is that Buc-Ee's is only 8 minutes away. The hotel was very nice and the employees were so nice and accommodating. Ashley at the front desk was a joy to be around and speak to about any minor things you may need etc. They have a microwave and fridge, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. They also have a laundry room if you need to wash your clothes. They provide breakfast in the morning. Speaking of breakfast, their biscuits were the BEST. So soft and fluffy every single time. I think this will be our preferred hotel when we come in town.

The lobby is very nice and appears to have been remodeled recently, however this aesthetic does not transfer to the rooms. The hallways gave me hospital vibes and had laminated numbers for room numbers (maybe they are upgrading?). The rooms have those tacky under the window air conditioners that you can hear every time it comes on. The ones that make the temperature regulation of the room either get really cold or too warm before it kicks on again. The WORSE pillows, there were 4 pillows for 1 king and probably the cheapest pillows that helped in getting no sleep with. Once you put your head on them they just flatten ... You could also hear everything through the walls from other rooms.

The staff is constantly changing but the menu never changes. The drinks get smaller, if they even have what you ordered. More times than not, they are out of something, food or alcohol. The bathrooms, although nicely decorated, need work. Tonight, I was pleasantly surprised that only one toilet wasn't flushed. It's not because people don't flush them. It's because they won't flush correctly. It's getting to the point that we may stop going to trivia just because of the location.

The beds are nice and rooms are clean and have what you need. Then issues start to creep up. Issue 1 I was given a room someone else occupied and the computer showed it empty, when the elevator stops on second floor it jars like it broke and everyone in it rushed out and took the stairs, if goes to third floor it sounds like the rope will snap and fall it's really bad sound, the internet for the tv to watch YouTube or any internet tv is unwatchable as it sticks and buffers over and over and says no signal, the premium internet for members didn't work, the lights over my beds didn't turn on, my door need a spartan kick to open, some of the outlets in the room didn't work, the tv jumps all over its volume from quiet to incredibly loud. For a Marriot property it looks like one, but definitely needs some tlc. Oh and most the hallways smell like weed so I assume people are smoking and people generally don't care. It's still a good bed to sleep in and centrally located. Would stay again if needed but not top my list for Marriot properties.

We had an interior King room, with a full sized kitchen, living area, sleeping area and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed (plates, cups, utensils) and even pots and pans that we didn't use. A full size fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, and stove top. (The coffee pot was in the bathroom.) The sofa was not the comfiest but also not awful. There was full length mirror that hid a closet to hang clothes and an iron with an ironing board. You could tell that the room was older but it was VERY CLEAN. There was plenty of parking. When we first arrived and checked in, the gentleman at the front desk wasn't very helpful BUT it was late and there may have been a slight language barrier. The other times I went to the front desk, there was young lady working that was very kind and very helpful. The breakfast was decent. They had toast, bagels, waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, jams, butter, milk, tea, and juice. I didn't try any eggs or sausage as they were in warming trays and I prefer not to eat from those and the waffles were a little sour tasting but that was from the baking soda not being mixed in well (I did not get sick at all.) Why it wasn't five stars...There is no elevator. It only two floors so it's not that big a deal but when you're staying for a week and have a LOT of luggage, bringing everything in and out was a little annoying having to make a bunch of trips. There was also a very distinct food smell in the hallway. It didn't permeate into the room but it was not always pleasant. And lastly, there was also a *different* distinct smell in the stairwell several times when I went to get ice. I didn't personally care but others might. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The value was GREAT.

We had a special need and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The room was cozy and had a couple of easy chairs that you could watch TV from. There was also a couple of bags of snacks and a fridge stocked with sodas and water, all complimentary.
