We needed somewhere to stay after being evacuated due to a fire in our neighborhood. Eli was very understanding and accommodating. Elliott was also very kind. We were able to see smoke from our hotel room and the general location of our home. While some would prefer otherwise, I was glad that we could. I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent stay. During check-in/ check out l, I overheard front desk staff asking guests whether they were in town for a basketball tournament. It appeared that families who mentioned the tournament were charged higher rates than those who did not. This felt inconsistent and unprofessional. As a team, we booked together with the understanding that there might be some form of group coordination--even if not a discounted rate--but selectively adjusting pricing based on a guest's response was disappointing. Additionally, I had requested extra blankets and pillows in advance, which were not provided in our room upon arrival. Breakfast was average but sufficient for a busy weekend, and the pool was enjoyable for the kids, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience left us uncomfortable, particularly due to the pricing practices and the requirement for upfront payment, which is not typical in our experience. We had originally canceled our reservation at The Davenport in order to support a smaller property, but unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations. We travel from Puget Sound area to the west gate of Yellowstone National Park 3-4 times a year. We have discovered that an overnight stop in Spokane area is convenient on the return trip. This business gets 5 stars because of value and courtesy. We used to stay downtown but have discovered the convenience and value of this off the hi way spot. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful the rooms are large and quiet and comfortable! This is a dog friendly place. TIPS: 1) Request a 2nd floor room which is parking lot level to avoid stairs or elevator when walking the dog at the wee hours of the morning. 2) See if you can get a room at the far end of the building to avoid lobby traffic. 3) Request a parking lot side room for quiet. 4) Please tip the kitchen staff who provided your free breakfast and cleaned up after you. These are hard working folks and the gratuity is meaningful. read more

I always appreciate staying in a hotel that is clean. This Comfort inn fits the bill. We need a place to stay for a night and this Comfort Inn location fit the bill. Easy access to the highway. We walked in and it was bright and clean. We were warmly greeted at the reception desk and headed up to our room. I noticed that there was fresh popcorn in the reception lobby, along with water and a coffee and tea station with some fruit nearby. Nice set up. Our room was clean and comfortable. We took a couple of moments to clean up before heading out for dinner. After dinner, we went down to the pool. The pool and the fitness room are right next to each other. Fitness room is not huge, but it has enough to get what you need done. The pool was bright and offers both a pool and a hot tub. We didn't spend too much time in that area because our stay coincided with a wrestling tournament nearby. Lots of kids having a great time The room itself is quite comfortable and we slept fine. I do think it it's important to know that this location is in our hospital so occasionally you do hear sirens. It was not enough to disrupt our sleep at all. I'd stay here again read more

Let's start with the good. The beds are comfortable & the staff is helpful. The bad, the hotel has a pungent odor as soon as you walk in, like the furnace hasn't been serviced in years. Everything is outdated. Instead of replacing our bathroom door they covered what I assume are homes with differently colored wooden disks (think 70's/80's cheap hollow wooden doors). The first room we had smelled terribly. I asked for a different room & I was helped immediately with switching, which I very much appreciated. I am grateful the beds are comfortable. The heated pool is quite chill, even my son who doesn't mind such things said it was too cold. The hot tub was lovely. The breakfast - waffles - good, eggs - just no, not sure what they put in the scrambled eggs to make more out of less, but rubbery, watery & flavorless/fried eggs - rubbery, sausage - decent. All in all I switched from La Quinta Inn because this had such good reviews & a pool. Honestly, I regret my decision. This hotel cost $100 extra & I am going to have to eat out for breakfast. It's right off I-90. Lots of food options near by. It's pet friendly. Update: so we ended up needing to stay a couple more days, we got a flat tire, hoping we could get it fix and be on our way. But since its Sunday most places are closed and with our luck its holiday Monday. Long story we're here longer then expected. I booked this hotel through a third party with their express deal special. They are a furry friend approved hotel. There is a station in the parking lot with poop bags and a trash can. I aimed to look for a hotel in the downtown Spokane area but the price was very high for a janky hotel and for a decent hotel you're looking at $140-$200 night. My plans weren't planned around downtown so I looked into the valley. The valley is 15mins (using freeway) from downtown and 20mins backroad. I found more price friendly, cleaner hotels in the valley, of course since it's awhile away from downtown. Love how the hotel is near the highway entrance, and Applebees is across the street for late night happy hour, and there's couple shops around. There's also a table casino that serves good bar food nearby. I am satisfied with the cleanliness and customer service during my stay, especially for the price I got. I was given room 204, same floor as the entrance and continental breakfast that is included. They have a lot of options for breakfast and the space to eat is clean. Lemon water and a vending machine is provided in the lobby. Also they pop fresh popcorn during the day for the guests. Parking is free, and you won't have to walk far from your car to the entrance. The pool is open 24hrs a day! The room we got was an accessible room and had a tub, and a fold down chair for the shower. The room was clean, a little dark but nothing to fuss about. Lounge chair did look a bit old, I'd place a blanket or towel if you're thinking of sitting there. My expectations were not high but the Yelp page had some really good reviews. No weird smell but could use a spritz of freshener. If you are in an adjoining room, you can hear your next door neighbors. The bed was so comfortable! They place these half looking pillows on the bed. You can ask the front desk for extra pillows and they'll give you the normal sized ones. The normal size ones are a lot more fluffier and comfortable. (I think the half looking pillows are just older pillows that's been used overtime it's been condensed). Plus size there's a microwave AND a mini fridge. These days, it's rare to see a microwave in hotels, not sure why. Bring your room key to the local Outback Steakhouse and can receive a $10 discount on your dinner or a complimentary blooming onion. read more

It was OK. The furniture was a kind of worn, with burn marks on some of the surfaces. North facing rooms (ours) had freeway noise, but it didn't wake me up. It would have earned a three (acceptable, worth the money) except there's a potential safety issue. Our electronic room key only worked about 1 out of 20 swipes. This was true of all keys. When we took it to the desk clerk, she said "oh yeah, some of our locks have issues and take several tries to get them to work." Beyond mere irritation, if you needed to get a small child, or other non-mobile person out of the room rapidly, it wouldn't happen. So, they're OK. Nothing special. But those locks... read more

Every year, my kids and I participate in the annual Bloomsday run, and every year, we stay in a different hotel, as we're never pleased with the amenities or location or both. Well, this year we finally hit the jackpot and we finally found a place we loved - and at a decent price, too! My Spokane pals tried to dissuade me from staying here, saying how far it was from the downtown Spokane core. But in truth, it was just a few exits east from downtown on I-90, and I clocked it, it's just a 7 minute drive. Everything about this place was great. If felt new. The staff was so pleasant, every one. Check-in and check-out was smooth and surprise-free. The lobby and our room and, in fact, the whole hotel was super clean. Everything worked. Our beds were so comfortable and we slept soundly. AC and heat worked great. Shower was great. Shampoos and all provided toiletries were nice. Housekeeping did a super job. The pool and hot tub were pristine and I was the only person using the pool (this was in the late afternoon). The morning breakfasts were incredible. Have I mentioned how reasonable the rates are here? (I booked through Expedia, btw). I honestly can't think of anything even remotely negative to say about this place. Wonderful hotel. Staff go above and beyond. We had a problem with the tv and within seconds, not minutes, seconds they were in our room fixing it. What a big continental breakfast they have. My new favorite hotel. The front desk lady was friendly and offered hotel information. Welcome cookies, beverages, and soups were available. Companion fish available for any guest wanting a friend during their stay. Clean and attractive rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good water pressure in shower. Keurig, microwave, and refrigerator in room. I'm impressed by the free breakfast buffet. They have a little bit of everything. Waffles, cereals, baked goods, fruit, juices, coffee, milk, a person to make omelettes, etc. Everything that I ate was delicious. Just stayed here all this week on a work trip. The hot tub and pool were maintained daily and were clean without having strong chemical smell and were very relaxing to use. All of the staff were very friendly and obviously enjoy and take pride in their jobs. The continental breakfast each morning was a wonderful way to start each day, and the variety was great. We came here for a business trip and had to bring my daughter as she's very young. I was very impressed with this hotel, and I've stayed in a few hotels in Spokane. I'd have to say so far this is my favourite. The room was great, recently furnished! Comfortable bed, and a pullout couch for our daughter. It was clean and spacious with a fridge & microwave. Clean, well-run hotel. Great customer service. I really like how this hotel is layed out. Lots of natural light in the lobby and pool. Microwave, fridge, and Keurig coffee maker in room. Nice view on the north side. 24- hour coffee and tea and cookies at night in the lobby. We requested late checkout and they accommodated us graciously. But the top two reasons to stay here: Great complimentary breakfast buffet with real bacon (yes, I'm a sucker) and price point is fabulous! You'll easily pay $30-40+ more a night if you stay downtown Spokane. Don't get me wrong. Staying downtown Spokane is nice because you can walk to your downtown destinations and take a stroll thru the park, but if you plan on driving anyhow, you might as well stay here. A coupla things not so comfortable about this place: the heating/cooling unit is really loud when it comes on and satellite TV was giving us issues because it was overcast. We stayed here for two nights while visiting our kids at Gonzaga Univ. Way cheaper than most hotels! Loved it, definitely coming back. Spacious room, newly remodeled, decorated well, beds very nice, loved the benefit of pool and hot tub open 24 hrs, very nice pool area, breakfast was more than adequate, no extra charges for parking or breakfast. We stayed here because every hotel in Downtown Spokane was booked. We payed almost $200 because were traveling with a baby and we just wanted somewhere to stay. The room was nothing special, small bathroom, horrible shampoo and conditioner, small-medium room and not particularly that clean. Our room was located on the bottom floor closest to the elevator and also right across from the pool. It was very noisy until after midnight, and started up again very early in the morning. I would have been fine paying $120 or less for this room. And because of it's terrible location in the hotel should be discounted a bit. Also, the customer service was terrible. Not one person at the front desk ask about our stay or acted the least bit interested in their job. I have never even written a bad review about anything before, but made an exception for this place. Also, We didn't try everything at the breakfast, but I don't know why people are raving. read more

I recently stayed here while visiting family. This is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. And I've stayed in my share of hotels. The staff was so kind, helpful and treated me like family. The breakfast was awesome. They had pretty much everything you could ask for, including a person there making omelettes. The pool and hot tub is 24 hours. The gym was rad and very clean. Plenty of different types of equipment in there. Vending machines had a great variety. The rooms were modern and clean. Beds were super comfortable as well as the pillows. We stayed here back in October. After having issues with Choice Hotels and our points the manager here honored them and we were able to extend our stay. We came back to 'run away from home' for the night this last week. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and contemporary. The pool hours are 24/7 which is nice to wait until it is kid free. The breakfast in February had omelets made to order and yummy chicken fried steak. We have stayed at many Comfort Suites and this breakfast is the best one yet. The internet is fast even on the 4th floor. The water pressure was mediocre though. We will 'run away' again and this will be where it will be. read more

I travel to Spokane Valley about 10 days a month for business. I have tried different hotels around this area but I found this hotel to be the best so far. It is in a safe neighborhood with ample parking. Everything looks new, clean and well kept. I love their 24 hour in-door pool/jacuzzi and gym. Their breakfast is amazing! They have wonderful assortments of hot breakfast items including omelettes especially made for you. I really enjoy their different types of yogurts, fruits,boiled and scrambled eggs, hash-browns, cereals, oatmeal, danishes, biscuit/gravy and so much more! In the evenings, they have fresh baked cookies, soups and crackers. Coffee,tea and lemon water are available 24/7 in the lobby. The rooms are spacious and super clean! It feels like you're in a luxury hotel. You'll find assortments of tea and coffee in the room. The staff is warm, friendly and so pleasant to deal with. If you are a frequent guest, as I am, they will offer you a special business rate! Mallory, the Director of Sales was wonderful to work with. She was so detailed and thoughtful. I have been so impressed by everything that I've encountered here so far. I've stayed here for six nights already and I'm loving it! It's truly "home" away from "home". We were driving back from glacier to seattle and decided to sleep over at comfort inn in Spokane! What a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, immediate check in, premium rooms, super clean almost too fancy for a comfort inn. The room look more like a Marriott. This is a new property and they serve great breakfast too which is complimentary. We slept great and really enjoyed the stay! Really a good deal for the services and quality they offer. Stayed at this Spokane Valley, WA Comfort Inn as part of a road trip in Aug 2022. I don't recall ever staying at a Comfort Inn before and had looked in the Spokane area for something outside the city in a safe location that was conveniently located near restaurants and other amenities. This Comfort Inn fit the bill! The lobby and the front desk women staff made for a very welcoming feel from when we first walked in until we left the hotel. The lobby layout was quite nice and there were free beverages as well as popcorn available in the afternoon. Parking got busier later, but there still seemed to be more than enough parking to go around. The area is near quite a few businesses although the hotel itself is tucked away aside from an intersection near the highway. Noise was not an issue. The hotel room was nothing fancy but plenty adequate. A/C unit worked well. Bathroom worked fine. Everything was decently clean. The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable but I do not have high expectations for sofa beds usually. My wife commented that the pillows were a bit on the harder side although I did not feel this was an issue. The breakfast in the morning was laid out nicely, clean, and not crowded. There was adequate food and beverages to go around. We did not try the pool although it seemed to be conveniently located. We stayed on the 2nd floor (incidentally the lobby floor) just past the lobby itself. Being an area of higher traffic, there was a bit of noise but very episodic. The front desk also provided great recommendations for dinner which were spot on. I would not hesitate to stay here in the future and it has given me a positive impression about Comfort Inns. read more

2nd time in a Comfort Inn & Suites and both times they get 5 stars. Stayed last night in a Hilton Downtown Seattle paid $270, paid $122 at Comfort Inn. So much more pleased with the C.Inn! HOT shower, comfy beds (with normal comforter, not a 700 pound duvet), and air conditioning that has a "constant fan" (helps me sleep better). Front desk staff was so pleasant to talk to. There is a beautiful indoor pool too! Would love to see thicker bath towels, that's all I have for suggestions. Thanks for being such a great hotel with an amazing price!! read more

When I made the call to this fine hotel I was treated like family from the start. Earning status when traveling a lot is a big deal to me and I expect to be treated great. This hotel is amazing! 24 hour business center and 24 hour swimming pool that you can see from the lobby. Sunday -Thursday they serve soup and everyday they service fresh cookies! A full breakfast is served 7 days a week from 630am till 930am. Free wifi! The lobby is massive! Breakfast is served in the lobby. They have Directv so you get all of your favorite shows early. This is a smoke free hotel. I am so glad! I highly recommend this great hotel! read more
