Stayed here for a few days and the room was clean and spacious! Each morning the continental breakfast was delicious, catered well, clean and offered plenty of breakfast options. Staff was friendly, courteous and friendly and we were also able to hang out in the lobby with our own beers and watch TV with friends. Several local eateries are within walking distance of hotel so you do not have to drive.

I'm here on business and normally I wouldn't choose a Hampton Inn but there weren't many options in the Spokane Valley that I could choose from. This is conveniently close to where I needed to be, so close I could walk. And it is close to I-90 and the Spokane Valley Mall is conveniently located nearby. The lobby is clean and inviting with some modern touches. They have a decent fitness area with an indoor pool. There's also a free breakfast buffet, but the food is typical continental breakfast-type stuff and some hot foods like scrambled eggs and sausage. The rooms are pretty decent sized with typical hotel amenities. My room was one of the smaller ones with a hidden closet behind the mirror and a large bathroom. There was no refrigerator or microwave in my room. A nice bonus is that the Centennial Trail, which runs along side the Spokane River, is right across the street with easy access. You'll see walkers, runners, cyclists, etc... Overall, I like the Hampton Inn at Spokane Valley. If I'm ever in the area on business again, I'd probably book a room here. It would be 4 stars, but since there was no fridge or microwave, I deducted 1 star.

My son and I arrived to the Hampton Inn & Suites around 8pm and the front desk greeted us as we entered. They said my name and knew it was me arriving. I showed my ID and credit card and was quickly given access to our room. While checking in I asked about upgrading to a room with a fridge, the lady at the desk said all their rooms have fridges. I was a bit confused because the website showed different information about refrigerators. I wonder if that was recently changed? The hotel is very newly renovated or built. Everything was very clean and well kept. Our room was no exception, everything very updated, nice, and clean. My son and I slept well and were very comfortable. We went downstairs in the morning and had breakfast. The spread was very nice, typical hotel breakfast. Pros: Free parking Friendly staff Clean and newly renovated hotel Comfy bed for a restful sleep Quiet hotel (during our stay) Free breakfast Cons: Nothing really, but website has misinformation about refrigerators/microwaves in the rooms. (We were pleasantly surprised to learn all rooms have these now)

Very new motel, in great shape, large well finished rooms, quiet part of town, close to mall and several restaurants. The breakfast is great, large room with plenty of seating, large TV with news to catch up on while having coffee. My new hotel to stay at when I have to visit Kaiser.

We called ahead and asked if we could have a room close to the pool, so that the kids would be more contained and we could change easily. We requested early check in at 2pm if possible, due to it being a school night. We called in the morning as instructed to see about early check in, and they would see us at 2. When we showed up, they said that they were just now starting to clean the room and could we please wait for 30 min. We waited for closer to an hour. We had already ordered pizza and paid for it. We tried to check in while the cleaning was being done, but were told that they could not do that. So we didn't really get checked in until 3. Then they let us know that our son could have everyone in the lobby but that the 2 other children were not allowed in the pool. We noticed that no one was in the pool. Another family had a birthday in the lobby and then went swimming. They had more kids than we did, but there was plenty of room. No one else was around. We ended up taking the kids to the park and having to go back and forth to get the pizza and all of the treats and everything. A 50 mph windstorm had hit town. It might not be policy to have a friend, but no one said anything when we made the reservation or sat waiting for an hour. After the party, the pool room fumes were so bad, we just went back to our room. The room was freezing and the air conditioning was on. We were not able to get the temperature to work. We finally got one an adult back and the other went to check. It was on a thermostat on the wall. We finally got settled. The room itself was small but nice storage bench to stow items. There was a rolling desk and chair to put suitcase on as well as a counter on top of mini fridge. We have chosen to do this every year, as do many of our friends who have winter birthdays, and never had a problem. Last year at Comfort Inn, not only did we feel welcomed, but they came and helped us take out the excess trash and allowed us to use some items from housekeeping to clean up our room after we ate and had presents. We tried this place this year because our son was excited to play in the lobby and so were we. Breakfast was not great. Rubbery eggs and paper thin, no taste bacon. Hard boiled egg still had shell to take off and was also rubbery. There were a few other options we didn't try. My son said the pancakes were good. They had plenty of things to put on them. The blankets were fresh smelling but so slippery that they kept falling off of us. They were very thin. Not my favorite stay.

It appeared that families who mentioned the tournament were charged higher rates than those who did not. This felt inconsistent and unprofessional. As a team, we booked together with the understanding that there might be some form of group coordination--even if not a discounted rate--but selectively adjusting pricing based on a guest's response was disappointing. Additionally, I had requested extra blankets and pillows in advance, which were not provided in our room upon arrival. Breakfast was average but sufficient for a busy weekend, and the pool was enjoyable for the kids, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience left us uncomfortable, particularly due to the pricing practices and the requirement for upfront payment, which is not typical in our experience. We had originally canceled our reservation at The Davenport in order to support a smaller property, but unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations. Moving forward, our team will be choosing alternative accommodations. Thank you for your time.

A friend recommended this hotel because it's away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Spokane, it's clean, has many amenities and extremely affordable. I made a reservation online using our AAA card for a discount. We booked a king bed room with balcony for $98. There's plenty of parking available. They have way more amenities than we need, but the price was so reasonable we booked it. They have a restaurant on site and offer room service! Such a convenience with a wide variety of food, including pizzas. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet, which is not included with your room stay. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot with coffee and condiments, dining table with four chairs, desk with rolling chair, robes, safe, toiletries, hair dryer, luggage rack, iron & ironing board, and I'm sure a few other things I'm forgetting. It was well stocked! The rooms are nice and fairly updated. I liked how the bathroom had two sinks, one in the toilet shower room, and another by the coffee pot, making it super convenient to add water and clean out the carafe. The TV in the room was nice and big. They had MANY channels available. The remote worked properly and was easy to use. The balcony was a nice feature. We walked into the room and it had a faint smell of smoke. We opened the balcony slider to air it out a bit. The smell wasn't bad enough to make a fuss, so we just stayed put. There were two chairs on the balcony as well. Our room was 4326, top floor corner room. It was a nice, quiet location. Far enough away from the traffic noise so it didn't bother us. We had a nice, quiet sleep. Our king bed was very comfortable with the right amount of linens available to keep warm. Overall, we were impressed with this hotel. Friendly staff, painless check-in process, many amenities, clean and comfortable at an affordable price...what more could you ask for! Would highly recommend.

She said they only had 2 rooms left so I'd better book with her if I want a room. I said goodbye and we just went to the hotel direct arriving about 2 hrs later. I quickly and easily got a room with the promo and saved $227.??. Front desk was very nice! The room was nice! Comfy bed, heavy drape so we can sleep in, a nice tv with HBO & SHO, a sm wet bar area to make a sandwich or a cup of their coffee which was DELICIOUS! It's the same coffee as they have in the restaurant which also has delicious food!! Instead of a sad breakfast buffet they have vouchers that you take to the restaurant for a free breakfast. There are 5 options meeting most dietary restrictions, fresh cooked, nice sized glass of milk or orange juice, served till 9am. A Walmart and grocery store are nearby. It's right off the freeway but I wasn't disturbed by any noise and I'm a light sleeper. One night I walked across the parking lot to the gas station and I felt quite safe. Everything was very well lite Finally the pool was really enjoyable! Over Thanksgiving it was able 30F outside but the water was lovely. Heated pools/hot tubs when it's cold outside is one of my fav things so I really enjoyed it! The pool quickly drops from 3' to 6' so an adult can actually swim and not hit their knees on the bottom of the pool. I highly recommend staying here.

As shown in my photographs, the sofa was completely unusable. It's clear that ownership and management have chosen not to replace this significantly damaged piece of furniture. Due to the exposed wood and cushioning, we were unable to sit comfortably on it. Secondly, the smoke detector in the bedroom was left dangling above the bed. Although I believed it to be safe, my wife was concerned that there might be a hidden camera inside. I find it hard to believe that the cleaning staff missed this issue when preparing the room after the previous guest. Third, early on in our stay, the toilet continued to run. This forced me to remove the tank lid and adjust the chain so the flapper would seal and stop the water from running. Finally, the grout on the bathroom floor tiles appeared as if it had never been cleaned or resealed for an extended period. The grout was extremely dirty, requiring us to walk on towels after showering to avoid stepping on it. Marriott, I hope you read my review, along with the numerous previous reviews for this property. This location is neither maintained safely nor kept clean, and I believe it does not meet the standards to be considered a Marriott property.
