Had 2 wonderful stays here in the last week. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We stayed one night in an upstairs room and I did enjoy having a balcony. It was also very convenient to unload from a bottom floor too as each room has a sliding glass door. The pool and hot tub area were Also kept very clean and stocked with fresh towels. Beautiful flowers everywhere . The breakfast was top notch. Buffet on weekend and cooked to order during the week. We will definitely stay here again on our way through. read more

Perfect hotel for our needs! We were on our way to Canada and Spokane was a great halfway point for our trip. A friend recommended this hotel because it's away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Spokane, it's clean, has many amenities and extremely affordable. I made a reservation online using our AAA card for a discount. We booked a king bed room with balcony for $98. There's plenty of parking available. They have way more amenities than we need, but the price was so reasonable we booked it. They have a restaurant on site and offer room service! Such a convenience with a wide variety of food, including pizzas. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet, which is not included with your room stay. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot with coffee and condiments, dining table with four chairs, desk with rolling chair, robes, safe, toiletries, hair dryer, luggage rack, iron & ironing board, and I'm sure a few other things I'm forgetting. It was well stocked! The rooms are nice and fairly updated. I liked how the bathroom had two sinks, one in the toilet shower room, and another by the coffee pot, making it super convenient to add water and clean out the carafe. The TV in the room was nice and big. They had MANY channels available. The remote worked properly and was easy to use. The balcony was a nice feature. We walked into the room and it had a faint smell of smoke. We opened the balcony slider to air it out a bit. The smell wasn't bad enough to make a fuss, so we just stayed put. There were two chairs on the balcony as well. Our room was 4326, top floor corner room. It was a nice, quiet location. Far enough away from the traffic noise so it didn't bother us. We had a nice, quiet sleep. Our king bed was very comfortable with the right amount of linens available to keep warm. Overall, we were impressed with this hotel. Friendly staff, painless check-in process, many amenities, clean and comfortable at an affordable price...what more could you ask for! Would highly recommend. read more

My experience with the hotel directly was all good! When I called their reservation line it was not good at all!!! We were in the car and I thought calling would be simpler. I asked for a promotion that i had seen online. I wasn't sure if it was an online only offer or not. The phone rep told me the promo didn't exist and proceed to quote me a total over $200 more than I had seen online. When i say online, it was thru the hotels website not another reservation service. She said they only had 2 rooms left so I'd better book with her if I want a room. I said goodbye and we just went to the hotel direct arriving about 2 hrs later. I quickly and easily got a room with the promo and saved $227.??. Front desk was very nice! The room was nice! Comfy bed, heavy drape so we can sleep in, a nice tv with HBO & SHO, a sm wet bar area to make a sandwich or a cup of their coffee which was DELICIOUS! It's the same coffee as they have in the restaurant which also has delicious food!! Instead of a sad breakfast buffet they have vouchers that you take to the restaurant for a free breakfast. There are 5 options meeting most dietary restrictions, fresh cooked, nice sized glass of milk or orange juice, served till 9am. A Walmart and grocery store are nearby. It's right off the freeway but I wasn't disturbed by any noise and I'm a light sleeper. One night I walked across the parking lot to the gas station and I felt quite safe. Everything was very well lite Finally the pool was really enjoyable! Over Thanksgiving it was able 30F outside but the water was lovely. Heated pools/hot tubs when it's cold outside is one of my fav things so I really enjoyed it! The pool quickly drops from 3' to 6' so an adult can actually swim and not hit their knees on the bottom of the pool. I highly recommend staying here. read more

So far very disappointing. Check in time delayed due to staffing shortages, check out made earlier for same reason. They will only clean your room if you stay for at least 3 days. Room seems clean and spacious. They also didn't mention that there is no elevator in at least half the hotel. Would have been nice to know we'd have to lug our bags up stairs. Restaurant didn't seem busy but half hour wait. Finally, and I feel like a commercial, we paid about 175.00 per night with aaa discount, people walking in for vacancy next to us paid 114.00. Was told they are probably special or we booked the room on the wrong day. They were willing to switch our room but it ended up that the other "available" room wasn't clean so we'd have to wait and see if they could find housekeeping. I must say that my room is really nice with a large balcony, lovely kitchen type area, tiny coffee pot, humongous shower. It is the executive double queen. read more

Stayed here two different times recently. Rooms were very clean; staff was great to work with. Our flight was canceled and they worked with our cancellation and changing dates and airport pick up was great (got in at 1:30 AM) Motel is dated but we found it very clean. Very convenient to go to either Spokane or Cd'A and price was definitely cheaper than either town's hotels. Right next to shopping center. Good bar (knows how to make different drinks) and excellent restaurant food. Can't say it's a 5 star motel (due to age and amenities) but an awful nice place to stay comfortable and reasonable especially for the price. Would recommend staying here rather than Cd'A read more

This is for Max's. What a great Happy Hour! Super fun atmosphere for the era that this hotel/bar was built. The food is fantastic! Kenyatta behind the bar is a gentleman and a scholar! It's a fun bar to socialize and have great conversation with mostly business people staying on a business trip. Most of us eating dinner at the bar. The place is clean, the service superior and the menu is very complete with many options and choices. I had calamari, french onion soup, a wedge salad, and a local IPA. All were very tasty, presented well, served appropriately. I was also offered hot bread with whipped butter with my meal! A surprisingly fantastic dining experience in a bar. I'll be back. I didn't expect anything this hotel had. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, down comforter down pillows, the room had a refrigerator freezer, a microwave(I stayed in a hotel twice as much a few days prior with no microwave or even ice on my floor for twice the price a few days prior)it had black out curtains and a beautiful sit down outside. The continental breakfast had great food as well and cooler just right. Sorry no self made waffles here. The price was fantastic too, probably the best hotel I ever stayed. Bathrobes, a security lockbox inside closet, very nice and clean bathroom, stand up shower with all amenities provided. Soft luxurious towels that get you dry and a pool up to 8feet deep and hot tub. Check in was pleasant and quick. I ended up with a perfect layout room where I could park right at the sliding glass door patio to unload. The king Mountain View room is on the larger size. The bed was quite comfy and sheets soft. Little walk thru hallway to the bathroom which was VERY nice. You could tell it had been updated and refreshed. There were some stains on the carpet but I'm not a fan of carpeted hotel rooms and prefer the laminate style wood floors that are easier to clean and sanitize. The couch and chair in the room were a leather type for easy cleaning. All in all, the room was very nice and surprisingly quiet for its location. I was very pleased. There is also two areas they have specified as doggy areas on either side of the back of the hotel. The on site restaurant, Max at Mirabuea was delicious. I also reviewed them. The only con I can really think of is the area is not the best. It is right off the highway and shares a lot with a gas station for easy commuting but that makes it extremely noisy and busy outside. And as I was taking my dog out, there was burnt tin foil nearby which is an indicator of drug use. Lots of garbage on the edges of the parking lot. I didn't go far from the hotel with my dog. read more

I have been coming to the Mirabeau Park Hotel for several years. I finally applied for a corporate account for my stays as I was staying more than 15 days a month. Later to realize I am only saving $10 per stay. They discontinued my account after two months following a 14 day stay. I have noticed that the hotel has been slipping on cleanliness. The bathroom floors are not clean, the power outlets don't work for lamps and lamp outlets, the carpets are sticky and the bathroom sinks don't drain appropriately. I chose this hotel largely due to the year round hot tub and on multiple occasions it has been out of order and promised run dates are weeks passed promised. My current stay this week the hot tub is open and running but the water is lukewarm and blowing cold water from the jets. Far from relaxing. The hot tub suite I was one night upgraded to the hot tub stopped working a few minutes into the soak. I have stayed in multiple rooms at this hotel and the idea of the rooms are great but for longer stays they are not set up for comfort. The full kitchen suite has bar seating which is super awkward. Ice machines are far and few between on functional. My dog has always been welcome but when requesting a room that's easy for him I am given just the opposite. The staff is great and doing their best although overworked and under staffed. However, after coming back and checking in more than 7 times per month and checking in with the same person each time I would hope to be somewhat remembered. Even after extending my stay only the next day. I really feel like a hotel at this caliber that charges what the charge should be a little more on top of their game. 36 hours after this post, the hotel called me and stated that I had an outstanding balance from a one night stay the end of December 2022. When I approached the GM this morning I asked how their checkin process goes and he confirmed that they always take ID and a credit/debit card for incidentals. I don't remember a single visit that I don't give both at checkin. He also (may have slipped) and said that my reservation was made under my first and middle name not my first and last which is what is required when using a corporate account at checkin. Does this have anything to do with my post? Being honest about the hotel, asking for help and offering suggestions, etc. and I have an outstanding balance all of the sudden... hmm! read more

The best value for any hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms look recently remodeled and are beautiful with luxury finishes throughout. And the room is huge. Don't EVER come to this hotel during the weekend of May 5th through May 6th. It is ridiculous, as all you will hear are dogs barking from a 3am until you check out. Apparently, this hotel is known for this dog show, & all the guardians stay at this hotel. Oh, and keep in mind, over 200 dogs outside in vans, which are barking all night as well. Know I am an animal person, however, when you have over 200 dogs in one area and they are all feeding off of each other's barks, is the issue. This experience is unacceptable for the other consumers that just want some peace and quiet. The only good thing that came out of this weekend was the manager, Jason who was able to keep the hotel's promise. We had 2 different confirmations numbers, when we had called a month in advance after seeing that it wasn't 1 confirmation, they had said that they would have taken care of it immediately when they saw the same name, but that did not happen until the day of, with his help. He was also very helpful as he told us where to visit here in Spokane. read more

This hotel is awesome, right in the heart of the valley with an upscale feel. The ballroom is huge and the decor was awesome for the holidays. The banquet staff is very friendly and they have spacious rooms with balconies and of course the park. The front desk was super friendly - and definitely gave us the right directions to where we needed to go, even when we got lost. Attended a really fancy and particular gala that was all accommodated by the staff at the Mirabeau. Great location for our next staycation! read more

Stay here!! What a retro gem. Hidden in plain sight. Don't let the low-slung exterior from the road fool you. Inside you'll find the best of the 60's. Its FUN. Perfect for a romantic getaway when you don't want to drive too far. Here are just a few of things that impressed us: Fantastic bar, comfortable seats (as they should be) and a well trained bartender. LOVED the mulled grapefruit and basil vodka martini - yum. Big tiled pool in a center courtyard. Surrounded by lounge chairs. Not lap swimming big, but the biggest hotel pool I've ever seen. MAX restaurant exceeded our expectations. The whole place did. It was nice out so we sat outside on their wonderful patio area backed by a green courtyard and walled in by the largest hanging flower baskets I've ever seen. We had four appetizers: calamari, chicken satay and two salads. All fantastic. Personable and efficient waitstaff (sort of like it used to be, seriously, we felt like we had gone back in time when people cared about service). Our room (in building 4) was quiet, big and had all of the niceties you no longer see in hotels traveling across the US (which is what we just did). Loved the sliding glass doors out onto a small deck with chairs. Room has a table with overstuffed chairs and a desk with desk chair, comfy bed, plus refidge and microwave. HUGE TV with all possible channels - my husband was impressed. What stood out as sweet extras are: terry robes, Gilchrist & Soames amenities, real glasses (thank you!!), porcelain coffee cups (thanks for not using styro or plastic), small but real coffee maker, extra sink outside of a full, modern bathroom. So comfortable. Even extra reading lights on either side of the king bed. My husband is already talking about returning annually. We loved all the 60s touches. Interior courtyards make comfortable spaces to lounge. Fantastic staff. We'll be back! read more

This is a great hotel. It's older, with most rooms having been renovated to include granite countertops and showers, glass shower door, two sinks, one in the bathroom, the other at a minibar with microwave and fridge, wine glasses and bathrobes. They are good sized rooms, most with a balcony or patio. The inside courtyard is kept pristinely manicured. Ask for an inside room with the view of the courtyard! The outside of the hotel is older as well as the hallways. You can tell that in it's heyday in the 70-80s it was a stylin' hotel. I'm partial to it because my parents honeymooned here in 1982 :-) You can often get deals for $95/night (call the hotel itself or see hotels.com) that includes free breakfast at the Max, the restaurant inside the hotel. The Max adds to the reason to stay here. They have delicious offerings, fabulous drinks and live music. It so nice to just walk to your room after a relaxing evening there. This is a great choice if you don't need to stay downtown Spokane! read more

Laundry facilities were difficult to locate, but staff will help you find it. It looks just like the entrance to any other hotel room with a small sign. $1.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry. Our room was fantastic. King sized bed, very comfortable. A couch, desk, and chair. Television with an ample number of channels. Large bathroom. Two sinks. Coffee in room. Robes. Great soap. Room temperature was good. Staff/check in and out was easy. The patio chairs are low quality. There isn't a view. But, there is a patio, which is nice. read more

Blown out light bulb, heater not working, burn hole in drapes - but the biggest deal breaker - after asking multiple times for the room to be cleaned while I went to work it wasn't done; every day I got back and the room was not made up; no fresh towels, nothing. I found this place through Hotwire. Not impressed when we pulled up because it looked like a squat plain hotel that would have been a popular architectural style in the 80's (not the cool Depeche Mode 80's more like the small screen movie multiplex 80's). My negative impression changed when we checked in. The inside has been completely redone (mostly complete) and I SWEAR it looks like the same designer that did the Hyatt in Vancouver... seriously it is that nice. Great service and OK rooms. Ask for a courtyard room and you will have no idea you are on a main thoroughfare. The pool is so nice, and they happily serve you food out there pretty much anytime. The restaurant, Max at Mirabeau is beyond exceptional. In three days we ate there 9 times. See my review for photos and details. As for the hotel, it puts many places I have stayed that were significantly more expensive to shame. All our interactions with staff, and management were beyond pleasant. Very misleading team members working this Mother's Day weekend. While booking our stay was told we would have a courtyard view and breakfast buffet included. While checking in I asked for the buffet vouchers and receptionist said it's an additional $10 as I was shocked but okay we will do the $10 even though we were told it's included(not). Spoke with the bartender the night before and was told the buffet had prime rib, eggs Benedict , anything, and everything you wanted to eat Bloody Mary bar, mimosas.. Well, get to our room no view of anything but the sidewalk and facing into other rooms. We head down to breakfast the next morning where we were taken to a separate eating area and served eggs, sausage, and potatoes nothing more not even a full continental breakfast available. Extremely disappointing and misleading. Hotel is very dated and dirty even the towels were scraggly and thin. Not a great stay and not worth the money. read more

I travel frequently to Spokane and have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. Sometimes you get a room in the back that hasn't been updated( maybe that's not the case anymore). Anyway, the rooms are real nice, clean, updated, good beds. A tip on the beds, or most beds in a hotel. If you are solo, sleep on the most inconvenient side of the bed, away from the clock, tv remote etc.. some times there is a depression on one side because it's the only side that gets slept on. True here. Very nice bathroom, small sink, coffee maker outside the bathroom, fridge and new big flat screen. There is a desk with large swivel desk chair as well as a real nice leather chair and ottoman for lounging. They've done a real nice job renovating a dated hotel. Still needs work on the outside landscaping, but not a deal breaker. read more

The hotel decorated carefully and they have a lot of rooms. Interior decoration of the hotel does not give you that it's one of those standard hotels. The room was clean, big, AC was working well and my stay was quiet. Breakfast was not included in the deal that comes like a separate bill. I am guessing this is depending on reservation deal. I thought the employees provided me standard necessary services ,but I thought that they could be little more attentive and patience answering questions. Overall, I would go back to this hotel if I go to the area. read more

Stayed on 2 nights, several days apart (we flew into Spokane as a gateway to Montana and Glacier Nat'l Park). Very helpful service both times - the desk clerk looked up (and printed out!) info on 2 local restaurants we were interested in. Rooms were both very large and comfortable, with nice large bathrooms and a 2nd sink outside the toilet area. Good mattresses and quiet rooms and property. Only downside was that the 2nd story wings attached to the lobby do NOT have elevators, so we lugged our suitcases up the stairs. If you are choosy about being able to "roll" your bags, make sure at check-in that you are on a floor with elevator access (the 3-story wings in the back do have an elevator). We had to have a package sent to the hotel before our 2nd stay, and it was ready at the front desk when we checked in. Very nice restaurant located in the hotel (Max - has its own Yelp listings). read more

This is the only reasonable choice for a hotel in the Spokane Valley. The executive rooms are nice enough, but I must say the beds and pillows are too soft - tho the sheets are of good quality. The maid service is inconsistent as is the front desk staff. Everything is very clean and sound proofing appears to be excellent. In winter, get a first floor courtyard room so you can enjoy the snow. The big draw here is the restaurant/lounge. I've been staying here 2-3 times per year for the past four years and I've consistently had incredibly satisfying meals. The menu is freakishly extensive and everything is delicious. Best sliders I've ever had (spicy and interesting) and they serve a mangotini that rocks. The wine list is, without a doubt, the best in the area. Breakfasts are wondrous as well. Service is generally quite good. The decor is really groovy; the lounge has big flat screens and slouchy chairs where you can hang out for hours with your laptop. And the restroom is so swanky, it's tempting to sit in there with your drink. read more

I've stayed here a few times before and always had great experiences and very nice rooms. This was the first time I did NOT book directly with the hotel, but used booking.com. Got here, entered the room, and it is horrid! Stains ALL over the carpet, falling apart, towel rack inside the shower, smelly, musty... dirty window. Just horrid! Went to complain to the front desk and was told that since I booked through a booking company and not directly with the hotel, they cannot offer me a discount and they had no other rooms available, so we are stuck here :( I've always raved about this place,and it was one of my favorite hotels in America (I'm from Canada), but after this experience, I won't be back and I will make sure ALL of my friends and acquaintances know about my experience! Excellent valentines getaway for 2014 The room was large, the jacuzzi tub and shower the size built for a family was awesome! Love love love the bathroom. The service was great, bed was a bit too soft but comfy. Our room did not look over the court yard, and that is the only change I would have made. Looking over the gas station/ car wash was not ideal but everything else made up for it. Breakfast at the Max was excellent and awesome affordable prices for large portions. I stayed on the non-renovated side of the hotel. Clearly a much older hotel, but it wasn't terrible, the set up and things in the room were all old accept the TV (flat screen). The room has a balcony and despite the age THANKFULLY the air conditioning works flawlessly. Beds aren't bad and there are 2 sinks in the room which comes in handy. I can also say that the front desk staff was helpful. So all-in all its not bad. I'm sure the newly renovated rooms are even better. read more

I am sitting in my room as I type this. Check in was quick, staff was friendly. Room is clean and spacious. I ordered a caprese salad from room service, and it was very good. The price was also very reasonable, for the room and the food. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is because of accessibility. The entrance I was directed to near my room had a luggage cart inside the door, but I had to haul my luggage from my car to the entrance because there are 3 steps outside that entrance, which rendered the cart pretty useless until I could haul my bags up those steps. I have very bad knees and steps are difficult when I am NOT trying to lug a heavy suitcase along with me. I was a hurting puppy by the time I got all my stuff inside. A ramp would be more practical and less of a strain on my 60-something-year-old joints. You might want to review the ADA, and at least provide alternatives for those who need this kind of accommodation. read more

What a cool hotel. We stayed at the Mirabeau Park Hotel only for one night, but had a great experience. Visually it reminded me of David Lynch's Twin Peaks, it was cool but with high quality amenities. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooms were bright, spacious and clean. Dinner and breakfast were good too. Very easy and quick check in process. If I'm ever in the middle of nowhere I will gladly stay. read more

This is my go to place when in the Spokane area. I travel for work to this area maybe 3 or 4 times a year. The rooms are large and in like new condition. This place is comparable to any of the higher priced chain hotels you can find but at a much more reasonable price. The staff are great and the food wonderful. I have never been disappointed with the free breakfast. read more

We stay at the hotel specifically because of their pet policy. However the rooms in the pet "wing" are becoming tattered and the ice machine didn't work. Also, no free coffee in the lobby - costs $3.16 per cup from the hotel restaurant. I suggest sprucing up the rooms and offering coffee, at least! read more
