Spent a few days here visiting friends and family over a holiday. Not the best maintained motel/hotel, but it handled the basics. Not too far off interstate, but could be challenging to find for some. Lots of gas stations and restaurant options near by. The reason for the lower score is there was a huge stain on carpet, the a/c was not very effective. Breakfast was okay and nothing special. Price for all of that was somewhat high. read more

Smoky smell and stain furniture rooms .. had to switch rooms 3 times before settling with bridal suite , but the rug was all stained in spots .. people's drinking outsides the doors on the side (which the manager replied " That's ok for them to do that). and smoking which leads right into the rooms .. I got woke up at 4:00 Am of smoke smell! I was very irradiated which we will NEVER stay at a comfort Inn .. Shame on you for the bad overnight stay ... that manager needs to be fired since she can't solve any complaints read more

I didn't hate it, but didn't love it. What it had in its favor: It is quiet, even as close to the freeway and many other businesses as it was; it has employees that did a better than average job of pretending to be helpful. It's obviously an older hotel, which is fine with me as long as everything does what it needs to do -- clean bed, decent amenities, and priced appropriately. It's the last prong of that where this Comfort Inn doesn't cut it. Maybe I paid for the location and all the things nearby, or for a last-minute booking, but it was on the high side of what is a mid-range hotel property. It did what I needed it to do on the bottom line basic: a decent bed and a clean room where everything worked. read more

I was pissed We never would have reserved the room had we known there wasn't a pool as we have a five year old that we wake up Saturday morning and get him ready to go swimming and go to the front desk to be told it's closed for renovations. Traveling a 9 hour trip from North Carolina to Tennessee on a Saturday, we were on our way to check into this hotel after making a reservation via Hotels.com the previous Tuesday and were only 2 hours away when we received a call that our room was not available. We were told that someone had come in earlier that day and booked the same room, the reservations must have overlapped. That is impossible as we had booked our room four days in advance. So, at the very last minute, after driving all day, we had to find another room for the night. Two days later we still have not received a call back regarding a refund of our money. We will NEVER stay here and neither will other family members who travel to Dickson often. read more

The PERFECT location, just off the highway and situated between numerous restaurants/ bars/ convenience stores. (exit 172, 30 miles from Nashville) The price was reasonable. The rooms were extremely clean, attractive (fridge, microwave, the works), tub looked brand new and quite. We especially liked the bed and bedding (a very restful night's sleep). The best part was the indoor swimming pool! We checked in very late, however the process was quick, friendly & painless. We also left rather early as well; we found the morning staff as nice & helpful as the late-night. The halls were clean & quite & we felt extremely safe. Best part was Lowe's was 3 miles North, Walmart less than 4 miles and a great bowling Alley (Thunder Lanes is in between)! This place is definitely on or 'return' list. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. read more

I travel quite a bit and while on the road for business i usually stay at either a Hampton, Holiday Inn Express or Comfort Inn level of hotel in between stops and a similar hotel if not at the particular venue I am working. I was very impressed with this hotel. I have stayed at other Comfort Inns and let me say this is a big step beyond the average quality you will find from this chain across the country. While these rooms are always clean and comfortable, this place is immaculate. The bed was wonderful and the quality you would expect from a pricier hotel like a Doubletree, Hilton, or other suite chain. The room was spacious and very contemporary. The leather arm chair was quite comfy and the bathroom was fantastic with a good shower head and plenty of room, unlike the usual crouched showers you will find where you don't even have enough room to lay the soap down. This shower had four different large shelves, and enough room for three people to shower comfortably in. The absolute best thing about this hotel, other than the great location and ease to travel to and from, was the television. This room had a sixty inch 1080 dpi complete with multiple HDMI ports! What hotel or even suite comes with that type of television? My only regret was that I had to hit the road for my next business stop a few hundred miles away before Sunday rolled around. I tried to figure out a way to delay my departure until Sunday in order to watch a few NFL games in my room, but no luck. If for some reason you are passing through Dickson during a sporting event, skip the bars, order in, and enjoy a big comfortable chair and this incredible television. As it was, i ended up streaming a few movies during my stay and let me tell you, it was really hard to leave the room to do my business calls! It was better than home there. read more

I am giving this hotel 2 stars because it's so overpriced! They charged us 116 plus tax (138) for a double bed small room, if it would've been a regular price for a room like what we had then I would've given it 3 stars. The hotel is old, it looks old and there are dents, dings, carpet falling apart, gunk and dirt in certain places, floors feel dirty, it's dusty, the ac was super dirty, but, beds were comfortable and clean which is what we needed, just a place to sleep. The water pressure sucked, the breakfast is okay, the dining area is tiny. So, overall, it would've been okay for a $75 a night price, not $138!! But every other nicer hotel in the area was full so, this was the better option over the other hotels. read more

I stayed there recently. Hotel was clean, so no problem there. Room was fine, nothing special but also clean. It's a hotel room. My complaint was they need new pillows. They are in such bad shape they seemed to missing the inside. The breakfast also needed some help. The waffle was great. Next day I tried the eggs. They were not fresh eggs. They also added so much salt I couldn't eat them. They had fresh fruit, oranges, pears and apples, but no bananas, especially for the cereal. Also only 3 types of cereal. Having a selection of boxes, in my opinion is better. I realize it's Tennessee but the bagels were like lead. The pastries were pretty packaged and on the day I tried on, it was stale. read more

Dirty,, needs repair.. very dirty washer and dryer.. shower had soap scum and mold and ceiling was falling in.. heater and air didn't work half of the time..very disappointed with this comfort inn. Usually have good experiences. Staff was friendly but that's about it. Mold by the heater and all around in the room... breakfast is another issue... fridge wasn't full of anything. I wouldn't drink the milk it didn't smell good. We have stayed for over a week at comfort inns and this is the worst one.. read more

My husband and myself spent this past Saturday night there. We got in before our room was ready. But it didn't upset us at all. It allowed us to go shopping in Nashville. The young man who was charming and polite. And might I add very Handsome. We did our shopping and came back to a very clean and comfortable room. The beautiful lady, who had cleaned our room was still in the hall. She was so sweet and nice. She's a gem.We had stayed at this same hotel a couple years ago and loved it. The hotels indoor pool was a busy places. The sound of happiness tickled the ears of guest checking in. Never was it loud. Our night was restful. Staying here allowed us to appreciate the beauty of Dickson County. My husband and I will continue to stay at this Comfort Inn each time, we come to visit Nashville. It shows its age... Nice staff and clean place but not where I would stay again for $72 a night. Good location but Needs a lot of updating!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! First the room was dirty. Dust everywhere. Being the late time we decided to endure. There was a power outage and noone knew how to reset the tv. When we awoke on the am my husband was shaking out the bed to ensure nothing left behind and realized one of the pillows he didn't use had blood spots on the case. Nit like washed and didn't comr out but fresh blood. All we got was an O im sorry. We will make a dr appointment to endure he didn't catch anything. There was also food stuck to the one bed skirt. Stayed there on business, based on recommendations and reviews. I have NO idea how anyone could give this hotel anything other than two stars. I immediately wanted to leave, but stayed because it was only one night. The staff is the only thing positive this hotel has going for it. The hotel lodging, decor, cleanliness etc. was horrible. The room was dirty including the floor and the bathroom. The fixtures in the bathroom were also rusty. The walls were dusty and full of cobwebs. I was itching from the time I got there until the time I left. The whole hotel smelled musty, but the rooms smelled dirty. Someone had attempted to spray freshener but it only made the smell worse. Front desk staff, maintenance staff, and breakfast staff were all very, very nice. This hotel needs updating and remodeling badly. It has been neglected and is not worth the price. I think it has great potential based on location, but until management or ownership get serious about renovations, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more
