Everything about the hotel is great, the management, the parking, the rooms. Don't try to order food for delivery in this town, it's a cluster fuck. It's been a long day, not one of these restaurants advertised in this Hotel book answered the phone, absolutely worthless. read more

We decided to stay at this hotel compared to the prices at the Moab area. While entering through the area, it's during the night it didn't feel great. But later realized uts great towm and nice place to stay.As I entered the hotel, the check-in process was smooth. The lady at the front desk was nice. They had plenty of parking. We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit Arches National Park and Bryce Canyon. From here to Arches National Park, it will be closer to 45 minutes drive, and the drive itself is beautiful, so it worked out much better. The Green River is such a beautiful town with a river flowing through the town, and it's absolutely gorgeous. There are a lot of gas stations and food options available either for fast food or dining. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. we got two bits for four of us, and it worked out well. The shower area could have been much better as the sink was kept outside. The breakfast was the best in all the Comfort Inns we stayed during our trip. The staff did a fantastic job in keeping up with the breakfast. The swimming pool is nice and we used it. We also used the laundry facility here, and you can get the tokens / coins at the front desk and also the laundry detergent available for purchase at the front desk. Overall, the stay was excellent, and I will definitely try this place if I visit here again. excellent read more

This place is comfortable ( the beds and pillows!) and the staff is friendly. The rooms are a bit on the small side. The breakfast area is cozy enough and so is the breakfast. The gym is interesting... Of course that's my favorite thing to talk about. There's a Smith machine and a treadmill and a little elliptical probably works; However it's pretty tight so you gotta be pretty creative if you want to use the Smith machine. The breakfast is pretty much white flour and the coffee will give you heartburn, but what's new?. A sweet little pool indoors. All the creature comforts of home. I tried to give this place a chance, there was plenty of options around but for the price you couldn't beat it anywhere else. We were to Moab but my husband decided we should rest after a long drive. The room was ok the front desk was great but I'm not sure if it was the cleaning staff or it could have possibly been anybody really but my daughter forgot her phone and it was never found a week later we were able to locate it to someone's home in Green River. I would NOT recommend staying here they have an dishonest employee, taking items that don't belong to you. If we would have known the phone was in the area we would have driven back. At the time my daughter wasn't sure she lost it in a hike at Arches or at the hotel. read more

07.14 I debated spending the night between Moab and Green River. I had been on the road since 11am, was getting tired so booked this hotel last minute. Checked in right after 9pm, pleasantly surprised with how clean our room was. Looked like it had been newly refurbished. The bathroom was so clean I actually had the kids take a bath. Woke up late and got to breakfast as the lady was putting things away. She was nice enough to let us grab cereals, fruits, a cup of coffee and a bagel. The hotel is about a 5 min walk to the supercharger. I charged walked back to pack and when it was complete I just walked over to pick up the car. read more

We arrived at this hotel after driving for 12 hours on a family vacation. The website shows rooms available and a family that just checked in had no issue getting a room. Remember it's June 2020 and Covid-19 is raging. People aren't staying in hotels like normal. My wife went in to get us a room. She is brown skinned. The person working the counter took one look and said "we don't have any rooms". Plenty of rooms showing available on their website and bookings.com. Could this be any more blatantly racist? We can do better America. read more

Rooms are ok. Our room had a faucet leaking and was very loosely mounted to the counter. Terrible coffee and even worse the breakfasts. YUK

The Comfort Inn looked good from the outside. Room phone not working. 2 lights in the bathroom not working. The hotel looks like they remodeled but missed the details. Pool only open 7 am to 1 PM?? The last straw was not having a full hot breakfast. They offered 2 muffins and 2 danish pre packaged. I understand covid has played a role in this but don't advertise on the web site that you have breakfast. The whole reason we choose Comfort was for the pool and breakfast. We could of stayed at a competitor for for $30-40 cheaper. read more

The room appeared to be very clean; however, I didn't feel like the bedding was clean. I rolled the comforter back & only used the sheet then turned the heat up to stay warm. Continental breakfast was provided. read more

Rooms were clean but very small and several things broken. Check in internet down on check in so was a nightmare. Then when we were in bed someone used a key card to try and enter, they got door unlocked and open with card. Lucky for us I had latch locked and that was all that stopped them. Breakfast was good typical breakfast. When we left checking Wi-Fi still down so they were working add a cell phone and had to email us receipt. Will never suggest or stay again. read more

I had planned to make this hotel my regular hotel when I do business in the area and I will no longer. Very clean, great breakfast with waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and all of the other normal bfast options. Guy at the front desk was grumpy, but he must have been having a bad day, poor guy. read more

We stayed here one night on the way to Moab and it was convenient off the freeway and near the river. The parking was spacious and the hotel was available for late check in's, there is no elevator so we did have to carry our bags upstairs but it was OK since we were able to do that if you cannot I would recommend requesting a lower level room. There was a fridge and microwave in the room nothing really special about the place it was a bit pricy, I thought, for the location and the town but it was clean and the room included a breakfast which was just the usual Comfort Inn waffles, muffins, danish, fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice and eggs and sausage. Overall a nice clean place to stay. $80ish during winter I think was a bit steep for the place but Comfort Inns are usually pretty consistent so you don't have to research too much if you are tired and on the road and ready to stop like we were. Room Tip: If you don't want to carry your bags upstairs get a downstairs room. read more

I have stayed at other Comfort Inns before so I felt the Green River one was a safe choice, until I saw my credit card statement. $250 "pet cleaning fee" for my service dog, plus bed tax on the cleaning fee. That's crazy. They said I agreed to that fee when I signed but at 10 pm at night I didn't read the fine print. Room was crowded with large furniture and very small bathroom. I guess I won't be traveling through Green River again or stay at a Comfort Inn without serious research. Not welcoming enough for me, Green River. read more

Typical Comfort Inn. Good inexpensive place when they get it right. Breakfast had lots of selections. Room was comfortable, clean and roomy. Quiet because it is off the main highway. Green River is a popular stopping point along Interstate 70. Even though there are many motels/hotels from which to choose, they all get busy. Hotwire and Priceline don't help because with all their business, the places do not discount. Green River is also the center for a lot of off road and boating folks as well as access to the southeastern Utah National Parks. read more

I often try to stay at Comfort Inns when traveling. They are one of the most consistent hotel chains with moderate prices, yet fairly nice, although basic, hotels. We stayed at this one because it was one of two hotels in town with decent ratings. The River Terrace Inn, the one hotel in Green River with better ratings, had no vacancies. We drove by a couple of other hotels that did not look nice at all and stayed here. It was one of the poorest Comfort Inn experiences we've had, but not terrible. There is free wifi, but it was slower than setting up a wifi hotspot through my phone and using that. The cleanliness was average. It certainly could use improvement. In general, the hotel is showing some wear. We didn't eat the free breakfast. My son wanted waffles, but the waffle makers were not working The eggs looked very greasy. We opted to find someplace in town to eat. When we checked in, it was shift change. The person who was just leaving was very nice. The person who ended up helping us check in was not in the best mood and it showed. It may sound more like a 2-star rating, eh? Well, after driving by the other hotels in town before stopping here I decided to keep it at 3-stars. In just driving by and looking in the lobbies the other hotels we saw looked pretty shabby. This was decent. While not as clean as I'd like, it was basically clean. It was more worn than dirty. If staying here again, we'd likely call ahead to try to make sure to get a spot at the River Terrace, but would stay here again before trying the other hotels in town based upon the reviews and cursory looks from driving by them. Most likely, we'd try to time it to stay in Colorado. Green River has a rather captive audience being the only town between Colorado and the great no service void to the West. It is sad for Green River that they do not try to capitalize on this a bit more with some nice hotels and stop over restaurants. Instead, I am guessing most people with much experience with this route try to make Colorado or the other side of the great service void. For a town with not much going on, that's a loss of some potential business. They should be doing all they can to try to get people to spend a little time here. read more

I have had the most wonderful time relaxing at the comfort inn over the past few days. I came in on a Tuesday with no reservation and Shannon the assistant manager was incredibly accommodating. I initial booked for one night to recharge after a week long camping trip and ended up staying for an additional two days. The staff and the facilities are impeccable not to mention the full hot breakfast they offer, yum. I got to enjoy the hot tub and pool as well. I would highly recommend a stay here should you be passing through or vacationing in Green River. 5 stars for sure! read more

We've been frequent guests at this Comfort Inn for nearly 10 years. We have always found it clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and super helpful staff. Now they've renovated and it's even more fabulous! The rooms have new furniture, carpeting, fabulous bedding, etc. What used to be reasonably priced now is a super bargain for what you get. Green River is a fabulous stopover for exploring the San Rafael Swell, or just passing through on I-70. There are several great little restaurants in town, especially our all-time favorite, Ray's Tavern. We use it as a base for a full trip or as a one night stop in conjunction with a Moab trip. We generally book through ChoiceHotels.com and it's pretty typical to be in the $60-70 range, which is an incredible price for what you get. We highly recommend! read more

Pricey considering it was 1 am but not much vacancy in the area on Saturday night. Room was nice enough, quiet and a/c running when we got in. Micro and fridge (didn't need/use it, but would've been nice a week prior at a Travelodge we stayed at). Best part was breakfast. More than just bagels and toast with blueberry waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Check in/check out were quick and easy. No elevator, 2 entry doors. read more

Probably one of the better hotels in town (there aren't that many to compete with). Don't expect 5-star amenities, but I wouldn't expect that anywhere in Green River, except maybe the Holiday Inn, but that place is almost double the price as Comfort Inn. Free soup or chili is available in the lobby around 4-5pm daily. Free breakfast is from 6-9am. The pool is nice and large, they are remodeling the workout room. Laundry machine on site, cool AC in each room, satellite TV and although the WiFi is kinda slow, at least its available and free as well. Bottom line, this place is the best bang for your buck! read more

This Comfort Inn's location is ideal. For us, it was a stopover between Bryce Canyon and Arches. The room was clean and modernized for sure though our towels seemed to be blueish in tint. We unfortunately got a room near the rear entrance where smokers did their business. Sure, it's a non-smoking facility, but an open door would waft the smoke into our room. Breakfast was included, but we must have hit a busy time because they ran out of many things when we arrived. The staff was friendly. The afternoon clerk may have been new because we asked about the availability of laundry machines. It was right around the hallway, but she was unsure of the price. The morning clerk was very apologetic about the smoke and aware of the drawbacks of the room. read more

Way over priced for a hotel that has a broken elevator, a "gym" that nothing works in, and staff that doesn't speak English. $149.35 at a government rate is crazy. Only stayed here because the holiday inn was full. Only two baggage carts for a hotel with no elevator is also a real bummer. Stayed here one night on our way to Colorado. It was packed with road travelers and I was glad I made my reservation before hand. The lobby is nice and they have a good free breakfast with hot eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, yogurt and bread / muffins. We got put into a handicap room which was not what we asked for. It was ok except the bathroom wasn't the best set up for us. The bed seemed smaller than a queen, but it was comfortable enough The air condition was loud but when it's 103 degrees outside a necessary nuisance. The pool was closed unfortunately. Stayed for 3 weeks for a project, rooms where clean, bed was comfy, good maid service, nice employees, only issues I had was the dryer doesn't work well, and don't eat the cereal, when it doesn't come out every now and then, because it gets stuck, the breakfast stocker opens the top up and stirs it with her BARE hands, a few others and I saw this and where disgusted we new her hands weren't clean she was cleaning tables with the same bare hands GROSS. We drove through Green River from San Diego to Denver and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express next to this Comfort Inn. Boy was that a mistake. I will not get into the Holiday Inn on this review(they will get their own). So on the way back through we decided to stay at the Comfort Inn instead. The woman at the counter was very nice and offered us a suite for $99. We had not planned on staying in a suite but couldn't say no. The suite comes with a jacuzzi tub that is in a separate room off of the bedroom, a living room with a couch and 2 chairs and a larger TV. Very nice for the price. I will definitely be staying at the Comfort Inn the next time I am in Green River. read more

This is a great clean place to bring the family or for a couples getaway. Only a short drive to MOAB or Grand Junction, my family and I stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves. The kids loved the pool. The staff was professional, helpful and very accommodating. I loved the full breakfast and how the staff worked very hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I am a lifetime Comfort Inn customer now. Oh and they're very affordable. read more
