I live in the area and decided to try this local spa for a massage for the first time. The massage was actually good! What didn't feel good was the business etiquette. First, they ask you to pay in full before your treatment when you arrive, which I thought was odd - I've never been asked to pay for my massage beforehand, and I've been to many different spas in the area. Then, once I was done & on my way out, I appreciatively handed the masseuse cash for a tip. She looked at it, laughed, and said "a little more?" I felt that what I gave was an appropriate amount, and after all it is a tip, not an expected payment. Overall one of the best massages I've her had! I had Ada as a masseuse and had a 60 minute deep tissue massage with hot stones. Ada applied the right amount of pressure and knew all of my tight spots and focused on those areas in my neck, back, and hips. Had a good time at this spot recently. Service: I got a groupon to this place. When I called them for an appointment they quickly gave me a slot. After hanging up they texted me that $10 minimum tip is mandatory per person. They texted that the masseuse will not want to give me a massage if I don't tip the minimum amount. I did not like this part. A tip is the customer's choice, while I understand that there are certain standards for tips and being a customer I always do the best but a business it's a bit awkward if they message you in advance forcing a price. I don't mind paying a tip but its a bit uncomfortable when the business forces you to tip a certain amount. Massage: Had a good experience with the massage. 50 minutes which included some pressure points, hot stones, hot towels etc. The masseuse also gave me a quick forehead massage which I liked. I came out relieved. The masseuse was attentive and asked me about my preferences. Hubs and I were hoping for amazing, but it was just aiight. We got the couples massage - $90 total if you're paying cash only. We were excited because there was hot stone involved - that part is admittedly nice to have. I'm not saying it was terrible, I'm just sayin it wasn't great. But from reading all of the other reviews it seems like it's just a roll of the dice and dependent on the masseuse you get. My guy was kind, but the pressure was a bit much in some areas, and not "comforting" as the businesses namesake. Hubs said his lady was rough, too. She needed to work on her delivery in ending the massage, as well. At our regular other Chinese food massage spot (currently closed due to renovations, sadness) our masseuse would gently end it with a soft spoken "finished." Not this lady. I got a deal on Groupon and was excited to get my massage. I've had countless massages from different establishments. Unfortunately, this was the worst massage I've ever received. It was a waste of my time and money. Staff was polite, not necessarily friendly. They require masks be worn. The entire place is very small, too cramped for my preference. They prefer you pay in cash, their ATM machine is right next to the check in counter as you walk in the door. The only positive thing about my experience was that they played nice relaxing music. Besides that, the table was uncomfortable, it was too stuffy and warm in the room, the massage was awful, I felt no relaxation of my muscles, she spent way too long on my back doing the same motion for what seemed forever. I laid there wondering if the woman was even a certified massage therapist. I can't see ever coming back and can't recommend this establishment after my massage experience. read more

This is a great place for a massage! Although, I did notice a couple of things, it's still a really solid spot. One of the things I noticed upon walking in, the lady at the front desk spoke little to no English. It kind of made it hard to communicate which we were doing for about 5-10 min until she got what I was asking (asked what a "combo massage" included). She took me to a room in the back. Pretty big, about 5-6 rooms lined the wall. The massage started right away, no waiting around. Another thing I noticed was that the guy giving the massage had a few calluses on his hand, so without the oil, it was pretty rough. The massage was great even if his hand wasn't as soft. He asked me a couple of times if the pressure is okay so that was good. Third thing I noticed was that the oil they used didn't really smell good. Pretty sure I needed to pay "extra" for good, nice smelling oil. All good, just observations. Loved that they spent the same amount of time for the back and legs(feet included). Most places tend to overlook the legs/feet and just focus on the back. This place did not! I tried calling them to ask for their availability. No one picked up but got a text the minute I hung up. I found that really odd, but it worked out. They asked if I could pay in cash or use Zelle... which I found odd ass well. Lots of oddities. In conclusion, even all of those negative/odd things I listed, I will be coming back. Again, the massage was great. Really enjoyed it! The place was really clean and they were all really nice. The price of the Combo Massage was $50, which included a full on body massage for 70 minutes. Can't beat that! read more

To be fair, the massage was amazing, and so was the price. Unfortunately, the customer service was horrible. I guess you get what you pay for in the end. If you don't care about customer service, though, go for it. I have to say, it was a wonderful massage. I won't go in to everything that made it a bad customer experience, but I've just never had anyone demand a tip before in my life. I see other reviews here that say the same thing. That is very, very rude and unprofessional. Gratuity is optional. Seriously, you guys have to stop doing that! I didn't end up tipping her at all because I didn't have cash, and then suddenly, conveniently, she said I could tip with my card. Why all cash anyway? One can only speculate... Even if I had my card, I don't respond to demands like that. I must add that I normally tip very well for good service. So, sadly, despite the great massage, I won't be back. read more

Came here last night and man was it worth it. My husband and I found them on Groupon and decided to give them a try. We were able to get the Groupon for a couples 50 minute massage including hot stone for $66. I saw on the website if u pay in cash it's $75. They have a very strict policy to give cash tip and the minimum is $10 for light pressure and $15 for hard pressure. We appreciated they were upfront about that when we called to book our massage. It was super easy to get the Groupon, use it, and overall book it. We got an appointment for 7:20pm on a Friday and we booked it just a few days in advance. Keep in mind the place isn't fancy but for the price you pay they you for sure get a good deal. They did a deep tissue Asian massage which does wonders especially how bad my muscle tension was in my back and shoulders. read more

I give this place 4 stars because Jack is really good at what he does. He tends to start light but if you ask him to go deeper, he will get into those muscles for you as he did me. Super nice guy!! And if you pay cash (at least at the time of this review) you pay $50. I tipped Jack with $15. I really wanted to like this place. I had it saved on Yelp to try since it was so close to my place. When I saw the Groupon for a couple massage, I thought it was a great deal that I couldn't pass up. Unfortunately, they may have overbooked or were short staffed. No one was at the front to greet us, and the small lobby just filled up with 3 parties all waiting for someone to come greet us for our appointment. We all felt so awkward sitting there waiting. At this point it was passed our appointment start time and when someone finally came out to greet us, they just seemed flustered, and basically just asked if we paid already. I mean yes, because I bought a Groupon but there's absolutely a better way of asking and greeting, especially if we've all been waiting over 15 minutes with no one acknowledging us.m or the other two parties also waiting. There was so much going on with people leaving from their massages, massage therapists asking for their tips, and my boyfriend and I felt so overwhelmed and uncomfortable. By the time we received our massage, the therapists were talking at different times of that hour. We couldn't get comfortable and on top of that the massage felt rushed and incomplete. I understand places can be short staffed or things get backed up, but it all started poorly with the greeting and then the actual massage was eh. While I love my massages here with Yan (she's a great masseuse), my experiences with her during evening couples massages, aren't the best. My better experiences with her have been in the day, mostly because those massages are uninterrupted. But every time we've had a couples massage, it's frequently interrupted by the phone ringing and having to excuse herself from the room. During couples massage, the rooms are quite small, so often times the tables are touching each other. We also usually get the hot stone combo, but they're REALLY hot. I'm sure the other massage therapists are great here too, as they have their certificates displayed on the wall. But if you want an uninterrupted massage, it's probably best to not ask for Yan, since she seems to be in charge of the phone ringing. read more

I was in this week for a couple's massage and foot rub using a Groupon. The couples room is very small so somewhat difficult to relax with all the movement and noise. It also didn't help that you could hear the construction going on in the parking lot. My massage therapist (didn't get her name as there were no introductions) was overall very good, but the massage was interrupted several times, once with a phone call and other times just leaving the space. I got the impression they were shorthanded and my therapist was also the manager/receptionist? I'd consider going back to give them a second chance, but I would probably go for a straight 90 minutes and insist on no interruptions. read more

I'm very picky with getting a massage especially since I have lower back pain. Many places I've gone to tend to be rough and have me leaving in pain. This place is small but clean, very cute setting. Husband and I did a couples massage, they asked us what pressure we'd like. I requested light pressure and that's what I got. She asked from time to time if it's too hard which was good that she was paying attention. I definitely recommend this place, we both left very relaxed and pain free. Price is amazing, it's not a fancy high end place that charges $$$ for a 50 min massage, but I go for the massage not the luxury. I've gone to a five star place where a 60 min massage cost me $200 plus tip and left in pain unsatisfied. Here we paid a lot less and left super satisfied. read more
