Here for the weekend with the hubby for the Chicago Bears game . Sadly, we did lose but this is where we stayed. This hotel does offer free parking and it is in walking distance to the stadium. But you can also catch an Uber/ Lyft to the stadium. The hotel was decked out in Halloween decor and also Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinal flags. They also offer some type of free breakfast in the morning . I don't know if it's continental or what. When I'm on vaca mode my mission is to sleep in. Back to the hotel the rooms are quite nice and a suite. They have everything that you would want but not a stove. But then again who wants to cook on a vaca. They have a nice sized refrigerator and microwave. They also have a coffee maker. The bed was comfy but the pillows were quite small. They also have a couch which I believe can be a bed as well. The bathroom is full sized and they also have full size shower gel and shampoo. You may want to bring your own hand soap because they only have those tiny bars . Nearby and right where the stadium is the Westgate Entertainment District. It's outdoors and a total vibe. There are plenty of restaurants, and even a cigar lounge. When we were there they actually had an outdoor ice skating rink. There is also an outlet around 10 minutes away. I only passed it and it looked like it was an outlet. All in all it was a great experience. If I ever visit Arizona again I would definitely stay here again. read more

We are Choice Platinum members and always stay at Choice, but this experience was terrible, with uncaring staff, managers, and safety and hygenic issues. We got to our room upon check-in and immediately noticed blood on one of the towels in the bathroom. I called the front desk, and the employee responded with "come get a new towel if you want one" as opposed to "I'm so sorry to hear this, I'll take care of that and let housekeeping know etc". She did not care-- this is a sanitary/safety issue as well as being gross. Then after we unload all of our luggage, the smoke alarm starts beeping. They eventually send maintenance who says "yes, I had to replace the battery on this unit yesterday". He tries to fix it and leaves but then the beeping starts again 10 minutes later. Luckily, they can switch our room, but it was not easy to pack everything back up and move to another room (we had a lot of heavy luggage). Again, no apology for the hassle. I guess I'm supposed to feel lucky they could move us into a room that was functioning. I told them upon check in that I have mobility issues and made sure the elevator is working properly (if not I told them I needed 1st floor). They said it's working. Then every time I rode the elevator, it was making scary noises (the other one was already broken for our entire 4 day stay). Sure enough, on our day of check out, the 2nd elevator broke. We told them we literally couldn't get all our stuff down the stairs to the 1st floor to check out. Our bags were 100 lbs! And I already have mobility issues. My husband with his bad back had to carry everything down 4 flights of stairs. They said they would send maintenance to come help us, but he didn't come for a long time and he was seen just casually taking laps around the building. Then they told me the elevator was working again after my husband lugged everyhing down, so I went to try to use the elevator to leave, and it never came! Upon check out, we let them know of all of these issues... guess what? No one cared. Then I spoke to front desk manager (Hilda) who said she would let the general manager know. Guess what? He didn't care either (his name is Billy). None of them cared about the blood, the inconveniences, the various things that were broken, the physical toll on check out day, etc. I told them "I'm not looking for a refund, but I do think a small compensation is warranted." I NEVER ask for compensation,as I can deal with most hotel issues. They called me two days later, and the manager Billy said no compensation for anything.(and no apology). This hotel and management should NOT be trusted. If you like bloody towels and things that break down and necessitate changing rooms and not being able to leave on check out day (and not even a simple sorry), then this is the hotel for you! read more

Was highly impressed with this Comfort Suites compared to the one my family had stayed at in November. The room was spacious and clean. No weird stains on the walls, couch, or beds. The shower was clean and so were the floors - no weird mold growing or parts of the counter missing like the previous Comfort Suites we stayed at. I waited 24 until I could do a full review of CSG . Immediately upon checking in the wait wasn't long I was 4th in line. Miguel the host was polite and engaging in casual conversation. Always a plus after a long road trip. Smooth and seamless checking and direction do our room. Room was spacious and bed was Very Comfortable! Freeway traffic could be bothersome if you don't have ear plugs or AirPods nevertheless I slept great!! Made it down for the complement breakfast. Do not pass this up!! Passing through Arizona we were caught in the middle of a bad thunderstorm, dust storm. We decided to exit near the Cardinals stadium. We parked and called a few hotels. My husband I took to calling for quick accommodations. Each hotel i called letting us know they were booked adding to our rough night (close to midnight). Happy ending: The gentlemen at the front desk at the Comfort Inn answered and added there was plenty of rooms and that we could walk on in. We thought, well this means one of two things (one being it's a rough room) - Happy to say it was not! Quick and easy check in. The rooms were clean and it was a pleasant night sleep. We felt safe leaving our vehicle in the area. We showered and they had a free continental breakfast. I would say the coffee was not my favorite part of the meal but it's just like the kind you would get at a 7-11 machine and I'm a little picky about coffee. The hotel is like 2 minutes from Top Golf and around the corner from the stadium. Thank you Comfort Inn Suites North Glendale and Peoria for being there during the storm. read more

I experienced this hotel when a model horse hobby show host rented a meeting room for us model horse hobby (all women) to have their show. The room cost $124/night and was super clean. The bathrooms near the show hall were soooooo clean, all the chrome and fixtures were shined. I it seemed they were always mopping the floor in the breakfast area, and the bathrooms. The breakfast had "baked" scrambled eggs (weird, the "scrambled" eggs had a cake-like texture like a soufle). The waffles were all wimpy, not crispy (you make your own). On the second day the orange juice ( in dispenser) was all overly diluted and weak (watery). You could help yourself to the drink and coffee dispensers all day. Front desk staff was friendly. There is a little "market" (what the sign says) a small food and snack and drink vending machines. I find that this hotel is a great place for long distance truck drivers to sleep on the vast dirt lot in front of the hotel. I don't know who owns that land, but if a truck driver could find out, maybe he could park his truck here for a rest stop. But he would definitely have a place for his big tractor trailer 18 wheeler, if he were to stay at this hotel. I see room for at least 15 18 wheelers. The road to the front of the hotel is kind weird and uncertain, because the asphalt is so deteriorated and rough, and on both sides is a vast piece of "dirt" land and grasses, the hotel set so far back from the road and traffic, you are not sure you are going the right way to reach the front door. I mean the way to the front door is "very undeveloped". If you book this hotel, get a room on the west side, because the east side is right next to the freeway (so close you could reach out and touch the cars), and there is lotsa noise. read more

The check in process was simple and the front desk gave us a sheet with restaurants to try out if we wanted to. The hotel was very lean and modern. The room was perfect for the price. AC worked great, bathroom was clean, and bed had clean sheets and pillowcases. The shuttle for the hotel can take you anywhere within a 7 mile radius if they are not busy. Parking for an 18-wheeler is off the street to your right or left. You can also park in one of the 2 empty lot if they are still empty. They do not allow truck parking in the hotel parking lot. read more

Service: great customer service; from the day we made the reservation (the day the tickets released) to the check in time. Environment: We arrived a bit early, and we were blessed to be able to check in early. They gave us our key without hesitation. Since we paid from a 3rd party, we just had to put a card for insurance purposes. The main lobby was super clean and they had both the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals flags up. Since we were excited about the flags, the host recommended game day things such as Ubering 2 to 3 hours early to avoid drivers cancelling on us and getting drop off on the Northside of the Westlake to avoid traffic. This definitely was a great recommendation. Location: The location is perfect for the football game. The room is only a 6 minute drive if you Uber early. If not, it can be a simple 10 minute Uber if the driver takes the west side of the freeway/HWY. The room was super clean. My wifey is a clean freak, and she even said this was one of the cleanest rooms she has ever been for the amount paid.. definitely exceeded expectations. The AC was a little no icy in room 205, but the air was a great temperature the room is not the most modern, but the couch, microwave, mini fridge and coffee machine give the room a nice touch :) Definitely will come back to stay here if we make it to the Súper bowl ;) read more

On 9/20/25 we checked into the hotel. During the evening, my wife and I were watching the television in the front room of what they called the Presidential Suite. (Not hardly.) Within 5 minutes we both felt as if we had bedbugs (or something else) crawling on us. The sofa was filthy and had a bad smell. I went to the front desk, and was given the business card for the GM. (No apology was given.) On 9/22/25 I called the GM's number on the card and was directed to reservations or the front desk. "Amy" said she couldn't give out the GM's #, and I explained to her an employee had given it to me the night before. She told me he was out of town. "Julia" (said she was the GM's assistant) came on the phone, and I told her of our situation. She told me someone had stayed in the room the night before and didn't complain. I suggested that perhaps the guest never used the sofa in the front room. I then got the diatribe of how I had booked the hotel through another party and could not offer a credit. The only time she apologized was when I told her the staff members I had originally spoken to didn't bother to say they were sorry for our inconvenience. As a point of reference, the GM's name on the card in Billy Thompson; the only numbers shown on his card was the generic # for the hotel. If you need a quality stay at a hotel, with no resolution on major issues, then this hotel is for you. The room was good, the reservation process was fine, but the customer service on the problem was meh at every interaction and so next year I know Id rather get an AirBnb then deal with this hotel. I originally reserved a room for 1 night via the company's direct website, because I was coming to town for an event that was at the hotel. I prepaid for the room just because I try to avoid any sort of issues and like things to be as smooth as possible, even made sure to let me bank know I was traveling. I decided to come in a day earlier and reached out to the websites customer service number. I was told that because the reservation was prepaid that I would not be able to add a night. I knew the details on the website say no to cancellations, but I didn't think they wouldn't let me give them more money. The representative tried to help me reserve a room on the phone and I declined because the rate seemed a little higher for 1 day extra on a week day. I called the hotel directly and they were unable to add to the reservation. They said I could make a separate reservation and were walking me through the process. At the same time, I was on the website to check the prices and what the hotel quoted me maybe $60 higher than the website. I brought this to the persons attention and they weren't able to do anything to even just match their own website, with the same incentive for being a member of their program. I asked them to cancel that reservation as I would rather just book through their website if it saved me money and I booked the room on my phone. Leading up to my stay they had emailed me updates on my 2 reservations and I was looking forward to my trip. The day I was flying in, I called to see if they did shuttles from the airport and I guess that stopped because of covid. I flew in the the phoenix airport and after delays because of a uber driver getting lost at the airport, Instead of getting to the hotel at 10 pm, I get there a little after midnight. I check in, the front desk person, Donna I believe, was nice and helpful. Checking in was quick. The suite I was in was good, based on that level of hotel. Everything was clean and no issues with the room. I got to bed and am woken up at 2 am by loud arguing that kept going to 4am. I tried to sleep through it and ignore it, but that was a little impossible. Finally, I call down to the front desk at 4am and let them know. They said they would check on the floor. I later hear what sounds like the woman from the argument talking the the police. I go to sleep, knowing okay well I'll deal with complaining when I get up. 8am comes around, I wake up and go downstairs and speak to the front desk. Since I have a different reservation for that night I make sure to bring that up and ask for a different floor. They tell me that the guests that were part of the problem were no longer staying at the hotel and I say, well I am fine with staying in my present room but they informed me someone specifically had reservations that evening for my current room, as it included some handicap accessibility features. They offer to take $10 dollars off my following reservation but were unable to do anything else. I go to breakfast dissatisfied with the resolution, but just figured I'll call after the weekend and hopefully get things resolved. My new room reservation was in an even better room and I had no problems with the rest of my stay. I asked about late check out, but I guess that's based on the cleaning crews and would only allow for my check out to be at about 12-1230, but my event would of ended at 1-130. So i checked out early and stored my belongings with the hotel.. I followed up with the websites customer service via email and all they've been doing is offering me 8000 points as a comp and then saying theres a maybe they could send $85 back from the first reservation, but there is no time line on that. I repeatedly declined all their options because why would I want points to a hotel chain I wouldn't want to stay again, if they failed horribly in resolving this situation for the first reservation? read more

However, the general Manager at this location is a psycho path. To make a long story short he is creepy, rude, and made fun of me to my face. When I was quietly telling the girl at the front desk about the COCKROACH in my room, and that the television in the living room area was not working. He came over and asked me in a nasty tone "what's your problem?" Because he could not hear me because I was trying to be quiet and give them an FYI. Not complaining not wanting anything for free. After the manager was rude and made fun of me I just left to tired to care. When I got home I received an email to review my stay, normally I would have just deleted it. Since the manager was so rude to me I decided I hade to write one. So the pool was FILTHY, the hot tub was cold and even more gross then the pool. There was a roach, the TV did not work, and there was the COCKROACH. What happened after that review was the manager and he asked me to use his name and make sure I spell correctly, BILLY D THOMPSON. Sent me a barrage of insulting emails, calling me uneducated, I nave a Bachelor's, but whatever who cares. He also called me a Karen, which could not be farther from the truth, I have definitely wanted to punch a few of those chicks in the face myself being in managment for 26 years. Anyway I think he is either psycho or drunk when sending these emails. In all My years I have never experienced such an unhinged man and his reaction to my basic review. It wasn't even nearly as bad as the ones I have written since the harassing emails I have been receiving from this man for the past three days. read more

The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and checked us in quickly. The a/c unit didn't get very cold, so we were pretty hot all night. Saturday Morning Our Houskeeper knocked on our door at 8:15 am I asked her to come back in about an hour. when we were leaving, I handed her a tip and let her know it was available to clean. When we got back to our room my daughters' earrings were missing and My sons' headphones were also missing, we looked every were for them and couldn't find them as the hotel is not responsible for our belongings, I wouldn't stay there just because of the non-trust I have for the Houskeeper that cleaned my room # 208 on the 19th-21st. Nice place to stay for a visit to the Phoenix area. The entrance is back from the street and below the freeway so there no traffic noise. Nice lobby and friendly staff. They offer a 'grab bag' breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean. Good linens and comfortable bed. It's also near State Farm Stadium and Westgate Plaza if visiting for a sporting event or concert at those venues. I would stay here again. read more

The room is nice enough, clean, etc. Unfortunately we live in a connected world and that is where this place fails miserably: wifi/internet. Staying here while our home is being renovated and wife and I are both remote workers who need reliable internet access. We booked two rooms, one for older son, and on day of check in he complained that he was getting disconnected constantly. We didn't get a chance to try wifi until the next morning and couldn't connect at all. Spoke with front desk and they confirmed there were issues and were resetting equipment. Seemed to get better then started dropping again. Next trip to the front desk yielded a "we use the same wifi and it is working for us". Next trip after that indicated they were doing upgrades to resolve issues. About midday it seemed to get better, not fast but consistent. Then as evening came on it got bad again. Next trip to the front desk I received the same "we use the same wifi and it is working for us" response. Will be speaking to management in the AM to see about moving rooms or even cancel our booking. One last minor annoyance: Wife and I both trying to work so I asked for an extra chair. One was brought to the room, but later during one of my trips to the front desk I was asked how long I would need the chair. My response was that I was booked for 10 days, so 10 days. Was informed that they took the chair from another room and would need it back so they could rent that room. No other chair offered. I'd agree that an extra chair is just that, extra. This property is way overpriced, and in disrepair. The hot tub is ice cold!! The rooms were clean and the staff is friendly. I asked them to add my AAA on there and they said it was too late that I had already paid. The ac wasn't working good, the shower would flood and have a little bit of green on the drainage, the guy that works Night Shift is rude for no reason I wouldn't recommend staying here. The beds have bed bugs I got bit on my finger, and legs. They do charge you double and the only way I found out was because I saw my bank account. With all my reviews I try to give the good and bad to highlight the nice and outline what I think could be improved. First the good. There are a lot of things to like about this property. The rooms a spacious and clean. Each room has air and DirecTV. Our room had a pull out sofa, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The property has Parlor Suites which are small one bedroom apartments and the Presidential Suited are an even larger one bedroom with a fireplace (1per floor, 4 total). I can't stress how clean our room and most of the property is held up. The breakfast has waffles and pancakes. There is a good selection of cereal and other items. There is a commissary a available 24/7 for late night snacks. The conference room are also clean and of good size. Now the bad and why only 3 stars. I feel like Choice Hotels had a missed opportunity with this property. The pool needs to be ripped out and redesigned. The pool sits on the north side of the property and looks like an afterthought. North of the pool is a dirt lot. If they were to purchase another 1.5 to 2 acers they could redesign the pool area with a larger pool, water feature, cabanas and grills. Even if they didn't redesign it, the pool is in desperate need of refurbishing. This being Arizona, having an attractive pool will increase the value of the property. Also, the bathrooms closest to the pool are permanently closed. When I asked why, no one at the front desk could say, just that it's closed. Finally, the facia of the hotel is nice. The driveway is a dirt lot on both sides; again a missed opportunity to add some beauty. The only aspect that kept this review from getting two stars, again is how clean everything was during our stay. read more

I have been staying at the Stadium Area Comfort Suites since they have opened and have always enjoyed the experience. Most of my work is in the Peoria and Glendale areas and as such, I have tried all the other local similar hotels and this Comfort Suite is an outstanding value considering the quality and cleanliness. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is not a luxurious spread but it is enough for people who have more to do outside the hotel than in. As these are suites, there is plenty of space in the refrigerator to store anything more you might like and there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you want more. I especially like the fact that it is located next to the 101 which makes for easy commuting wherever you have to go on teh west side of the Valley. read more

We usually stay in hotels after the Cardinals games, and we usually stayed at the Mariott or Hampton in the Glendale entertainment district, but we discovered this hotel by accident after the last game, and went in to see if there was a room available. They greeted us with a warm cookie and a room ready! Out of all the hotels that we normally stay at, this hotel far surpasses them all. It's super clean, the beds are actually VERY comfy, and they offer free wifi AND a free HOT breakfast! Although it is a five minute drive from the University of Phoenix Stadium, we will be staying at this hotel for every game going forward. It's a total gem! The customer service is outstanding (Matt is the best) and the prices are hard to beat! We will only use this hotel now! read more

A recent 4 night stay in the area while going to spring training games was really good. The location is key-about a mile from Camelback Ranch and not far from the Westgate area. The location is clean, modern, and the pool was probably the highlight as it was unseasonably warm during our stay (95 each day) and the cool off was perfect! This past weekend was our second stay at this hotel. The free hot breakfast is very delicious. Eggs (delicious eggs, tastes like real eggs not powdered ones), home style potatoes, sausage, waffles and the normal breads, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. On Saturday they even had yummy biscuits and gravy. The rooms are large and have a king bed and a sofa bed. Lots of room. Clean and well kept. The hotel staff are kind and very accommodating. I need to give a shout out to Mary, the night front desk girl. When we arrived, we checked in around 8:15 pm, went to our room to find out it had not been cleaned. Bed was unmade, towels were still on the bathroom floor, half empty water bottle on nightstand. We went bakery to talk to her and she apologized. Not sure what happened. We had 2 rooms and put our luggage in the 2nd room. We went to get some food and she said it would be ready when we got back. All of the housekeeping staff was gone for the day so she, herself, went up and cleaned the room. She went way above and beyond the call of duty. We will definitely be staying here from now on. I would recommendation this hotel to anyone who goes to Spring Training games in Glendale (Dodgers or White Sox). read more

Had a reservation for this hotel, drive here from Vegas and get to the hotel was told my room was cancelled, the gal at the front desk said the manager cancelled it, she also said I had gotten a great deal when we reserved it, the manager never called to tell me it was cancelled, nor was I notified by email, I think they wanted to get more money and that is why they cancelled it, because they were completely booked! The hotel was great, free breakfast till 930am every morning, rooms were pretty big and the cleaning staff was great, honestly I didn't even hear them cleanup as for as vacuuming, Front Staff was great as well, late check-in and they were able to get me a room, Great location especially if you are a Cardinals fan its not right by the stadium which means less people in that vicinity, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, In & Out Burger and Culver's are literally right there. 2 thumbs up. read more

Not a safe hotel to spend the night. My car got broken into on there property and the manager claimed the cameras did not capture anything, considering I was parked right in front. The manager did not do anything about this situation. Unprofessional and unsafe. read more

For this hotel being a newer hotel, there were quite a bit of issues. The first was that we kept having to have our keys reset - we made sure not to have them close to our phones or keys or anything that would off-set the magnet. However, we still kept arriving at our room and both keys resulted in the dreaded "red" indicator. The shower in the hotel room was the worst I've ever used in any hotel - I used to be a recruiter and would often travel (over the span of years), so I've stayed at my fair share of hotels. The shower was cracked by the dial and up the side of the shower wall. The showerhead would "spit" out water at you, while simultaneously pouring water out of the bathtub nozzle...all while making a fantastic screeching noise. Due to water coming out of both shower and tub spouts, you would finish out your shower in standing water that pooled around your ankles. One of the days, I had to take work calls in the breakfast/lounge area, which wasn't terrible. There was plenty of seating, especially since breakfast was only grab and go during the week (I will get to that momentarily). It was relatively early and I went to use the rest rooms on the first floor. Locked. When I went up to the main desk, the gal stated they would not be unlocked until maintenance arrived. I asked her when that may be, since I wasn't able to go up to the hotel room (my family was sleeping) - she shrugged. They were never unlocked, and it was well past 9am when I made it back up to the hotel room. The air conditioner/heater? Yikes! The first night it seemed to go into overdrive, sounding like an airplane ready for takeoff. My mother in law said it smelled like something was burning - so we turned it off. While it didn't replicate that particular issue for the remainder of our stay, it did only decide to work when it seemed to feel like it. Finally - breakfast. We weren't there on the weekend to know what the 'normal' breakfast was like, but the weekday 'grab and go' was a paper bag behind the counter. In the time I was down there working (during normal breakfast time), maybe 2 people stopped to actually grab the breakfast, while a dozen or more came into the lounge/breakfast area looking for the hot meal most hotels provide daily. Normally, a "get what you pay for" situation would dictate the above - but this was not the case. The hotel was $160/night, right up there with some of the others in the area. While it was in a good location, it did not provide the "comfort" the name portrays. Could we have asked for another room? Yes. Could we have asked for a refund and went to another hotel? Maybe, we utilized a third-party booking site. In reality, we had driven 3 days to get to Arizona to visit family and had no desire to pack everything back in the car (or cart) to move our stuff to another hotel or room. We have two small children under the age of 5. Times may be hard during COVID for hotels, but we stayed at plenty in various states as we made our cross-country trek - none of them struggled like this hotel did. Maybe another room had a better shower experience. Maybe it also didn't smell like dirty feet. That's your decision to make, but we will not be coming back when we visit AZ again. read more

I spent a few nights here and was bit by bed bugs. Clearly bed bugs and had a video and everything. Nobody even wanted to look at it. I asked for a refund and was told they needed to bring someone in to investigate, which would be days after I complained. That means they could easily clean the room in the time it would take. I am completely bit up, itchy, and burning on my leg. Not one person said they were sorry and not one refund was offered. The manager on duty couldn't care less.
