Stephen was the most recent field worker I encountered. He was on time based on his workload, he met wasps, had to go onto a rooftop, along with typical maintenance problems at my home, and was unflustered when his maintenance work required parts that needed to be ordered. His team assisted him as was needed during the appointment. All my questions were answered and the company was recommended by longtime residents of Gainesville that have used this family-run business for years. Now that the temps have increased into the 90's the last few days, we noticed that the air conditioning wasn't keeping up. We called Comfort Temp this morning and set up an appointment for today. (We already have a maintenance contract with them.) Both my husband and I received a text when the technician, Michael, was on his way. He arrived shortly and we explained the problem. Michael has been here previously and is familiar with our system (4 zones). He found that we have a freon leak, recharged the system, and is going to get us scheduled for a thorough leak detection with an ultrasound device to determine where it's happening, as this is not the first time this has happened. Going into the holiday weekend, we're very pleased that we will be comfortable in our home. This review is LONG overdue - We had an issue on one of the hottest days of 2021. We called several different companies; either to be hung up on or told they wouldn't be able to make it out until the following business day (4 days later). I found this company, called and was greeted with such a lovely receptionist. They told us they could have someone out within a few hours and sure enough they did! They were prompt and professional in not only calling when the tech was on the way but also sending me an alert via text. When the technician (Drew Reddish) arrived he was EXTREMELY polite and professional. He never rushed us and answered all our questions PLUS more! He even informed us the piece that had broke on the system was warranties for another 27 days. What are the odds? I'm very pleased and will certainly be using their services for any future needs. Had our heating and cooling blower motor fail during a kitchen renovation last August. Mike came out and offered several options. We chose the least expensive one and got no pressure to go with the more expensive choice - which I really appreciated. They got the work done when they said they would and even less time! They just came out to do a 6-month maintenance contract service. Extremely professional and helpful - even left metal tape to secure the filter, which is missing a part - older unit. After getting 4 estimates for a new AC unit and air handler, Comfort Temp offered expertise and service that the others didn't. They were the only contractor that took notice that the old handler had been improperly installed and suggested it be repositioned so that it could be easily accessible for service.
