been the biggest fan of this place since i was a kid!! i feel like ive gone every year and its…read morereally nice how many changes theyve made to grow the business. even on weekdays it gets pretty busy, so def recommend a reservation. the workers are always really nice and helpful, and i love that they offer snacks n canned drinks as well as allow outside food/drink. now are my cons but not rly cons? love this place so theyre not bad enough to stop me from coming or recommending, but theres def some things i and my friends noticed overall. id hope that the place gets a bigger variety of glaze colors maybe? i feel like its been the same for a bit. or even the glaze with different effects. additionally, if there can be a little key to the small glazes in piping bottles it would be superrr helpful to know what theyd look like. we found ourselves walking back and forth 10 times just to see what they were compared to the big bottles. also, if they can have a larger variety of plain items at a time i think it would be nice! when i originally came in there were very few options, but when i came in to pickup my pieces there were a LOT of plain, non charactered/textured cups, bowls, and plates. lastly, i would loveee to join in on their classes to make my own pieces, but its super unfortunate to me that it seems theres not that much opportunity for designing and painting it myself. even if it was an add on fee id definitely be down, but if im already paying about $50 for a piece it would be cool if i can have the option to make it exactly how i wanted.

He's very artistic, so this turned out to be a perfect fit and he genuinely had an amazing time. Choosing what to paint was honestly the hardest part because of the large selection available. There's something for every budget... our pieces were around $20-$25 each, with both more affordable and higher-end options available. In addition to the pottery cost, there is a $9 studio fee per person, which covers all materials, glazing, and firing. We ended up spending close to three hours painting, and the time passed quickly in a relaxed, creative, and very family-friendly environment. The staff during our visit were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions or offer guidance, which made the experience comfortable even for beginners. The pickup process was slightly less seamless than the painting session itself. We were initially quoted about a two-week turnaround and needed to follow up when we hadn't received a notification yet. There appeared to be some minor miscommunication regarding readiness and text alerts, but everything was eventually sorted out. Overall, this is a wonderful local activity... especially for families, date nights, or anyone looking for a creative and screen-free experience. I'd absolutely recommend planning ahead for pickup communication, but the painting experience itself made for a memorable birthday celebration and we would happily return.

Booked a Friday evening 630-830 Acrylic pour class. Booking via the website was an ease. If you…read morecheck in on Yelp you get 10% off your beverages/food/ any purchase inside the studio. As I entered i was not greeted, so just walked over to art table and grabbed a seat. Waited about 30-45 minutes (there were other patrons waiting as well) was unsure who worked there as everyone had an art apron on. Eventually someone appeared at the front desk, walked over to check in and order food and drinks. They have libations (beer, wine, cocktails), water and mocktails. The food menu was limited (chips with various dips salsa, guacamole, aioli, Bavarian pretzel with dip, and other small snacks). Tried the chips with salsa and guacamole as well as the Bavarian pretzel (two nice sized pretzels). Our drinks came out first. We had to have them remade as they included edible glitter which wasn't listed on the drink ingredients we initially ordered. The chips, dip and pretzel were plenty to share between 2-3 people easily. The art class instructions didn't begin until about 745P. Not exactly sure what was going on regarding starting so late. But. Nonetheless, During the down time there are ice breaker cards on each table. Once the class started it was over by 845P. Overall a great experience but efficiency and time management is lacking.

My friend wanted to do the resin project for her birthday so of course I said yes! I've never…read moreplayed with resin before. There wasn't a lot of people here the night we went so we had lots of table space. Our table was set up with our boards, gloves, sand paper & rags. Racheal was our instructor and she was AWESOME! Paula was working that night too & helping out. She got us our drinks & food and she was also great too! We had enough time to look over the menu & place our orders. I was exited to see that they just didn't serve beer & wine but had Truly's & a cocktail menu. I didn't see this on their website. I tired the glitter bomb even though they were out of cotton Candy & replaced it with something else which worked out. Later on I ended up ordering the pepperoni pizza which looked amazing & tasted amazing too! Was just right! Rachel explained the process prior to us starting. We were able to see other designs that were on the wall. You pick out a stain if you want to have some of the board stained which will show because you don't cover it up with your colors/glitter. Beware resin won't come out of your clothes or your hair. So bring something to put your hair up & be careful what you wear. You do get an apron to use but it doesn't cover up your clothes completely. I even brought some of my own glitter because I want sure if they had pink glitter but they have lots of colors to choose from. We had plenty of time to work on our project but once you stir your resin to get the bubbles you have 20 minutes to work with it. My friend brought her mother too & her birthday was a couple days after my friend's. Rachel was fun & had everyone sing happy birthday to them. :-) You need to leave your final project there for 24hrs so it can dry. My friend was suppose to pick mine up & give it to me next time I see her. I really liked the end product & can't wait to see it & use it for something. It's safe to serve food on it. I'd definitely come back for a future art project! This place so reminded me of school and art class. 5/5 stars! Thanks for the fun night Rachel & Paula! P.S. just a suggestion...you should have an air freshener & poop spray for the bathroom.

She was encouraging and supportive even though I was falling behind everyone else. But she also made me feel as though I was doing everything right the first time. We learned to make 3 different types of pasta, shaping them ourselves based on the instructions given. Then we made a butter and some other ingredient sauce to go over the noodles as well as enough cheese to make a goat jealous. All in all this was a fun class and definitely something we will try again in the future!

They had a cute set up with picnic tables and all the supplies and apron and everything was laid out and easy for you. Think of PaintNite but with cooking. You buy your drinks at the bar and then come back to your table, no server. This place specifically only served beer and wine, and non alcoholic drinks by the can. But the beer was good!! The pasta was fantastic, and so easy to make! Just 2 ingredients! She was a great teacher and you learn 3 different styles of pasta to make. My favorite was the gnocchi. Also, you get to take the recipe home with you so you can make it again later. I would love to do this again, but maybe try a different type of class next time. I know they have sushi and a couple other options! You definitely got to give this a try!!!! So much fun!!

As you walk past the windows, you can see how bright and cheerful the displays are, but once you step inside, you are instantly transported into a homey creative space! Jewel, the owner, loves her job and it shows! My girlfriends and I have been crafting at AR Workshop for about a year now. Jewel offers an amazing assortment of projects, from candle making, blanket weaving, making wreaths, making wood signs, pillows, canvas bags, cookies, cake pops and more! There is truly something for everyone! We have crafted most of the types of projects she has to offer! Going to Jewel's classes is like spending time with a dear friend! She is so patient with her instructions and won't let you leave until you are happy with your project! Most of the time, my girlfriends and I stay hours after the class is over, talking and laughing. Jewel truly is a rare gem! Unlike most of the other studios the girls and I frequent, Jewel is happy to let you bring in your own food and drinks! If you happen to forgot and get thirsty, Jewel will offer you a soda or a water (usually $3-5 else where.) Most recently, we had my niece's 10th birthday party at the studio. Despite having a very small budget (as I had just started my new job after months of being unemployed) there was no shortage of fun and excitement! Jewel's patience and nurturing attitude with all the ranges of ages of children was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Jewel and AR Wiorkshop! But don't take my word for it! There's a wide variety of slimes to choose from, and everything is well-presented. The atmosphere of the store is also fantastic--bright, fun, and welcoming, making it an enjoyable place to browse and shop. That said, there was one thing that stood out to me in a not-so-great way. I noticed employees cleaning the floors on their hands and knees, scrubbing manually. While I appreciate the effort to keep the store clean, it felt a bit unusual and outdated--especially in 2026 when there are more efficient and ergonomic cleaning tools available, like mops or other equipment. It also made me think about employee comfort and working conditions. I noticed this while walking by during closing time, and it still felt a bit strange to see that level of manual scrubbing instead of more standard cleaning methods. Overall, I would still recommend this shop for its awesome products and positive vibe. I just hope management considers updating their cleaning practices to something more practical and employee-friendly.
