I've never had a cavity and a lot of the reviews for dentists seemed like they wanted to rush into all of this dental work. I was calling around to many offices getting so much attitude and lack of care for my pain - no one could allegedly see me for more than 3 months, even in an emergency. Frustrated, I finally found doctor freedman! His receptionists were the ONLY ones I spoke to over the phone who had an ounce of compassion and although they couldn't get me in asap, they put me on the emergency call list which happened to get me in the next day due to a cancellation. When I got there the process was seamless - quick check in and wait time and incredibly pleasant staff from the front desk to the X-ray tech to the doctor himself. Doctor freedman was incredibly honest, I came in thinking I needed an emergency root canal because of a cavity so he could have totally swindled me and recommended all of this work and I would have believed him. Instead, he said in a calm manner that everything is fine and he could refer me to an orthodontic surgery if I wanted but it wasn't necessary. The pain has mostly subsided but I wanted to see a professional just to be sure. Definitely recommend for an honest and experienced professional!

I booked online & was given one of their very first appt. Oh man what a great experience! Everyone from the receptionist Terry to the Benefits coordinator Corinne was respectful super nice & very helpful. I wasn't sure they took her insurance but before we could see the doctor, Esteban already confirmed that she was covered. Our first encounter was Kayleigh the technician that took the Xray pics & was patient, courteous & respectful of her pain by being very gentle. The next was the hygienist Jaime who was respectful, knowledgeable & explained all that was occurring with my cousin. Doctor Roumiana arrived & explained in detail what was occurring to give her the pain that she was experiencing. It turns out that the Smilist diagnosed her incorrectly. Corinne explained the bill in detail & provided us with our financing options, which included what items were covered by the insurance & what was out of pocket. Needless to say my cousin received exceptional treatment at Aspen for her tooth pain & other dental concerns & had a great experience. Was told by the dentist that it was rude & that I should have made my appointment sooner. He has no bedside manner. I felt it was intrusive & rude to question me. It was also none of his business on why I waited so long. Even after i explained he shrugged his shoulders & walked away. The staff as well as the doctor should understand that most patients aren' neglectful on purpose things sometimes happen out of patients control. There are ways to ask questions without making the patient feel bad & small. The staff that work in the back are very nice, but the doctor & the office manager for sure need a class on how to speak to patients. There is a reason there reviews are so bad.
