Nice little drive thru . Friendly and great tasting drinks ! On a trip from Ohio so I like to support smaller local businesses and this was a great one!!

The coffee is great but the service is the best! We went twice and were so happy with both visits. And they offer a significant military discount. All this and a chocolate covered espresso bean on top!

I have driven by Common Grounds every day, twice a day on the way to school drop off but decided to finally stop and give it a try. It is drive through only as it's a small kiosk set up in the Hartland Kroger shopping center. I ordered a large brewed coffee with cream and sugar (nothing fancy!). The coffee was hot, fresh and the two employees working were very friendly and personable. The price was comparable with Starbucks, but I am happy to support a local Lexington business. Will not be my last time stopping!

This cute coffee spot in the Kroger Hartland Center is one of Lexington's greatest hidden jewels. The coffee made here is nothing but pure java heaven and the best part is that you can drive through on either side. It can get a bit busy at rush hour but you will never be denied fabulous customer service and did I mention fabulous java? The prices are extraordinarily cheap yet the quality is much better than any Starbucks. Rhoda, the manager always take her time to get to know you including memorizing our orders plus knowing little stuff in our lives. You can add shots, soy, whatever for a quarter or thereabouts which is a steal in this coffee hungry city. If you are looking for some authentic local coffee to go, this is the place and definitely a place that Lexington can be proud of! Whitney and Rhoda are my favorite baristas! May Java Be With You at the Daily Grind!

I ordered a cold brew with vanilla cold foam. It was one of the better cold brews I have had. Service was quick.

A really neat and simple operation. Just the pick me up I am looking for some days whether or not I am in the mood for a smoothie or coffee.

I appreciate the minis because it does allow portion control for me. My friend got the sausage and egg biscuit. I'm not sure if they put some kind of jam on it but she said it was sweet. I also tasted it and the sausage was on the sweet side (I liked it but she didn't). Other then that she said the rest was good after she removed the sausage patty. So summer months you can expect one employee as they adjust man hours to meet the foot traffic of the store. Apparently its not as busy when the students are gone for summer break. The man at the counter was friendly and kept apologizing to us for the wait while he was assisting the other customer . I used to work in the food industry( former kitchen manager) so I get it but he didn't need to apologize. The store is always clean and well organized & if you don't see the donut you want its likely in the back. I gobbled my minis before I could take a picture my apologies. (They were that good)!
