We loved this adorable little biscuit breakfast spot!! :) We spent a weekend away in Nashville but came back through Lexington to visit a couple of distilleries as we made our way back North. Nashville really turned us on to the biscuit breakfast so when we saw that Lexington had some choices we knew we had to try! We stopped into Biscuit Belly on a recent Wednesday morning on our way out of town and were greeted with the nicest staff, waiting to take our order. We had a few questions and the man at the register was super knowledgeable and extra kind!! When we stop into a new place, my husband and I enjoy ordering a couple of different options and sharing so we can both try more things in one visit! :) The biscuit belly choices made this difficult, so many items look amazing!! My husband ordered the Mama's boy and I ordered the Fire in your Belly! Both of the sandwiches were delicious! The Mama's boy had the most tasty jalapeño pimento cheese and the perfect accompaniment, a fried green tomato on top!! This was a great combo! The Fire in your belly felt like a more simple sandwich, with less on it, but the flavors went so well together, it ended up being our favorite!! The cheddar cheese really brought everything together so nicely!! Both also came with delicious pickles which doesn't sound like it fits into a breakfast entree, but it truly did!!! :) We enjoyed both the loaded tots and cheesy grits on the side! If you get a chance to stop into a Biscuit Belly sometime, I would definitely make your move!! ;) We don't have places like this up North and that's a sad, sad thing!! read more

Biscuit Belly was a great stop in Lexington! The space is bright and airy, and everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. They have fun options like biscuit donut bites and unique coffee drinks. I ordered the mint latte, which was delicious, and my partner's breakfast sandwich was loaded and really satisfying. 2/22/26 My husband and I stopped by Biscuit Belly after church for brunch. We went with our waitress's recommendation and ordered the Brekkie Bowl with home fries, turkey sausage, and a sunny-side-up egg, it was very tasty. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The flavors all came together so well, especially with that runny egg mixed in. We also got the Go Getta biscuit and gravy meal, which was hearty, comforting, and exactly what you want from a brunch spot. You can tell the food is made to order. It was somewhat average on the taste, but it satisfied our hunger. The restaurant itself was clean and nearly empty when we arrived, which made for a quick experience. The menu is kind of a lot--I thought on I want a chicken biscuit and there are like 10! But I ordered the original without the jam and was happy to eat a very hot, delicious breakfast. My only qualm is as a southerner who loves biscuits--these are not buttery like I prefer. But they are good. Service was lovely and the space was nice enough for a guy to be working and eating. **April 2025: Weekday Visit** My friend and I came on Tuesday morning to start our day. We saw all the high positive reviews and thought that it would be the best way to start our Lexington adventures. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in our experience. We knew that we wanted to try the biscuits but needed some protein so we decided to order a few things separately to give us energy. We did the Go Getta (which was two biscuits with sausage gravy $10.99), two sunny side up eggs ($4), and two breakfast sausages ($4.20). My friend was curious about the corndogs so he ordered one portion. The gravy didn't have any flavor and was the sausage pieces were virtually non-existent. The biscuit themselves were hard and tasted store bought. It wasn't light airy or fluffy. The sunny side up eggs were standard and the sausage were dry. The corndogs were surprisingly pretty good. The sausage in that was juicy and the breading was a nice texture. I think if you want a corndog Biscuit Belly's works, but you won't be able to get any of their biscuits in my belly. I ordered Door Dash and got the Biscuit Bennie which is eggs Benedict which has a Bennie sauce on it. It also has the meat and tomatoes and tomato sauce on it. Got the dd and they had the nerve to write a note on my carry out box "ran out of sauce". Wtf!? Who does that??? And they left off the tomatoes!! So I have poached eggs on toast NOT eggs Bennie! And it looks like someone took a dump on my eggs. Like what is that brown stuff on it?? I paid $18 for this garbage!! That is NOT ok to screw over a customer like that! The food was great and came out super quick. It's a very "self serve" type of place but the wait staff did a great job of continuing to check if we needed anything. Kind of reminds me of a breakfast Slim Chickens type of vibe. The only thing I would change is the fact they don't offer a typical combo meal for the biscuits so you have to pay $10 for a breakfast sandwich and additional $3ish for a drink and $3 more for a side. read more

Biscuit Belly is a fast casual breakfast restaurant. It was definitely family friendly, but they also serve brunch cocktails! I really enjoyed Biscuit Belly! The egg and cheese biscuit was really good, however, it was not hot. The iced coffee was really bad. It tasted like someone brewed hot drip coffee and then put that over ice. The hot brown was really good, it wasn't too dry. The Bonuts were a great sweet treat and the jam they came with was perfect. Sign up for their email/text list to get free Bonuts! I've been to Biscuit Belly in Louisville a couple of times...first time here. I'm not a biscuit person, but my husband is. Location is cool glad they kept the water fountain that A&W had. I wanted to try Pancake Corndogs but they were out. Choose the Smokeshow. Wanted Cold Brew but they were out. Chose the Cinnamocha with Oatmilk-delicious!. Service at counter was great, young man was patient & friendly. He was apologetic for items they were out of from menu. No long wait for food. My food was ok...I like my omelettes fluffy not firm. Sausage patties inside were good but I wasn't too impressed with onions, tomatoes, & bacon pieces on top. Grits were creamy. My husband got The Rockwell Supreme & he gave it a 4 of 5. Biscuit Belly is a casual spot for delicious biscuit creations. They have a drive-thru too! There is a small parking lot which was a nice surprise for a spot so close to downtown. I'm sure it fills up fast on weekends. On a weekday morning they weren't busy at all. We walked right up to the counter to order and received our food quickly. The Basic Biscuit Sandwich was tasty. I really enjoyed the simplicity of this so that I could taste the buttery, flaky biscuit. My toddler loved her pancakes which came with a big bowl of fruit. The most tender chicken breast on a sandwich ever. Went for Veteran's day, which very thankful for free entree. The biscuit is different and is similar to pie crust but thicker and soft. The chicken is lightly breaded and very tender. If I had no teeth I could gum it down easily. Staff was very nice and friendly, food came out quickly. The bonuts are good little nuggets but the sauce and icing for dipping are where it is at. If I was a sweet savory person I would put it on the chicken biscuit. We stopped here for breakfast on the drive home to Pittsburgh. We were alittle hung over and biscuits to soak up the alcohol seemed a good idea. The ordering process is like fast food. There are menus when you first walk in as you queue up to the counter. We both order simple biscuit sandwiches with one egg, cheese and it came with 2 sausage patties. Coffee was a large mug they give you and you self serve. After ordering, we sat and waited for someone to bring the food. The biscuit was large. I'm glad I didn't order two sandwiches. The flavor was to be expected, nothing extraordinary. It was delicious, no doubt. The coffee was good but I prefer a more bold blend. With tip, the total was 30 dollars. I think that is quite steep for two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees. Would I return? Yes. But Biscuit Belly would not be a regular place for me. read more

I've been wanting to try out this joint for awhile now but I've always heard that it's super busy on the weekends. I took advantage of a Friday off work to eat some biscuits with my friends. I didn't do my research before going--I assumed that this was a sit down restaurant with waiters to take your order. As soon as you walk in, there is a counter to place your order and they give you a number and someone brings out your food whenever it's ready. I was with 3 friends and we decided to share the Gravy Train which came with a basket of mini biscuits and three different types of gravy--guetta, mushroom, and hot brown. It was good, but since it came out with the rest of our food, we didn't get to do it justice. We all agreed that the Guetta was the best of the 3 gravy's. I ordered the Belly Board which came with a biscuit, berry jam, bacon (or sausage), and eggs cooked your way. The jam and biscuit were my faves--the biscuit was fluffy and cooked perfectly and the jam was sweet but not overly so. My friends had the GOAT and the brisket biscuits. They looked amazing and my friends raved about them. Overall, I really liked Biscuit Belly and will definitely go back! read more
