First time buying a product at Common Hype, won't be back. The Scottsdale location isn't available on Yelp, so leaving our review here. Ordered online and immediately received an email advising we'd receive an update when our item is ready for pickup in Scottsdale. Followed by another email confirming our item is being shipped. Super confusing. A day went by and no update on the pickup status. No number to call. Never received a reply back from the email address that's made available for customer inquiries. Had to go to the Arrowhead location to have them call the Scottsdale location and figure out what was going on. When we were able to pick up our purchased item in Scottsdale, no greeting or assistance was given when we walked in despite having little to no customers and several employees working. In addition, no apology for our item being ready but never receiving a notification. There was also a video with the owner going on, making it difficult for us to get to an employee for assistance. I would think with the owner there, the employees would be on top of things. Don't bother replying to this review if it's with the same sad replies you've been giving others. read more

In the middle of a chargeback dispute. It is unnecessary but became necessary when this company's owner, after sending an automated email going on about their appreciation of my business and all the usuals and how their goal is, in their words, "to deliver an amazing consumer experience both in store and online, with excellent customer service," proceeded to do the exact opposite after the "owner" cowered away from "owning" up to his company's egregious error of sending a replica pair of Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott Olives for $975. And these were replicas that a company who emphasizes its reputation for selling authentic products should've immediately recognized as replicas. It wouldn't even require an inspection to know they were replicas, just an observation. This is easy. The company whose goal it is, according to the owner in their company's own words, "to deliver an amazing consumer experience both in store and online," would refund the cost and shipping of an obvious replica that passed the company's "inspection" process. Instead, the owner finds it an acceptable business practice to keep what amounts to a donation of $975 in exchange for a fraudulent product sent to a customer. Now this customer is spending all this time in a chargeback dispute with the bank, when this company could've easily resolved the matter in minutes. read more

Been following the channel/store since 2019, rate the videos and what these guys do highly and the paisley shorts caught my eye. Being from the UK I paid £45/$60ish per short (ordered 3x) and another £22/$27 In shipping. This is already expensive but I didn't mind, However it's been 2 weeks now and I've been hit with a £47/$60 Customs fee and they're still not here (I paid the fee). For any UK customers I would sadly recommend that you pass unless you want to pay 2x in Fees. read more

My brother even asked if he can show proof. The owner said that there's no such thing as people stealing checks and cashing them in... lol I'll like to know what planet he's living on because people's checks get stolen all the time. I did my first deal with these guys but it didn't turn out the way I thought it would turn out. I sold them Jordan 4 SBs. I was told to make an account on bill.com (something I've never heard of). I made the account, added my info and all of that. When they received the shoes, I was asked if I would like my money to be sent through bill.com or a check. I told them a check. On bill you can't receive checks if you're under the age of 18. The check was sent on November 16th, 2023. I got an email notification as well saying it would be shipped through USPS. It was supposed to be delivered to my address on November 21st. About 9 days have gone by and I haven't received the check. I went on discord, (this is where we made the deal) and I asked them hey I haven't received a check yet. Vick (their discord assistant) told me to wait another full 7 days. More than 7 full days go by and I still haven't received a check. I went on discord and told them I haven't received a check. They opened a ticket and they started doing very little "investigating." I kept having to ping them everyday about the situation. It felt like they didn't really care about what was going. They can't even track the check because they did it through bill.com and that's their only form of payment is through bill.com. Which is weird to me because other sneaker shops have other forms of payment. Brandon gets into it and he kept saying "oh there's nothing I can do, it was sent to your address and it was deposited." Mind you I never received the check or deposited it. I asked them three times if they could see when and where it was deposited. Also, I stated if they could see what account it was deposited in. Unfortunately they can't track it because they used bill. Why would you use bill.com if you can't track checks? Vick and Brandon think I'm lying about a missing check so they won't reimburse me. If I was some celebrity or well known person I would've gotten treated differently. Now I'm out of $380 and they have free shoes. I even offered to show my bank account and show them transactions. They still have yet to respond. This showed me a lesson not to even trust your favorite YouTubers. They lost a sub from me and I will be telling friends and family not to do any business with them.
