I went in a little while ago, and could find what I needed. I was looking for women's 9.5 to 10 and could barely find any! If you are a woman who needs an 11 forget about it, I'm not so sure I saw one, maybe they have them online. I like this location I'll give them that. It's right next to target. There's another store down the way got something there in my size- DSW. I went in to look for something in specific and as I came in and I wasn't welcome in, nor I was helped, the employees were just talking to themselves . I found the shoes I needed , and once I bought them I checked my receipt and it was a totally different price . So I go back to check . And I get someone to help me . I don't know what kind of store let's someone in charge , who's rude , stands around , and gets bother to do there job . And I told the guy who works there . He simply said if you don't like the price return them back . Lol it's not about the price , it's about helping and do your job instead of just standing around . I think a 1 star is way too High, after scanning and reading other reviews, I ask why does this store have a business license? I had dealt with the Manager (Alex) very knowledgeable BUT a customer can feel when employees are NOT into their employment. I had ordered 2 pairs of shoes 1 came too the my home the other was CANCELLED do to "NO INVENTORY" order was paid for UP FRONT (Debit Card) that's their policy FOR ON LINE ORDERS. Get this!!! For me to get my refund for the pair of shoes, I'm having to wait for a PAPER CHECK IN THE MAIL 4-8 weeks out. The transaction took .45 seconds and it takes 4-8 weeks to get a refund that was put on a debit card?? Or naturally a store credit, WELL!! Famous Footwear don't need a store credit because I'll never shop your STORE or COMPANY AGAIN. Good Price and Super Fluffy Slippers! I stopped into this famous footwear location because my slippers at home fell apart and I wanted some new fluffy soft goodness to keep my feet happy when I run around on the cold tile. At first I was worried because I couldn't find any men's slippers, so I asked for some assistance and the guy who help me. Me in the correct direction where the men's slippers were a little bit tricky in their location as they were next to the kids shoes and women's. I ended up finding a wonderful pair of $40 fluffy leather with super full for lined interior. They are great and keep my feet super toasty now and have nice traction on the bottom too. All in all I am as happy as I could be with my new slippers and would recommend this place to anyone. read more

One of the employees (Luis, what my cashier told me his name is) saw us at the mens shoes sections asked us what size I'm looking for and I told him we found it. He asked again what size we told him and he told me that the mens shoes will not fit my daughters feet and I said okay as I continued to look at the shoes, he then told me if we are going to try the shoes to go to the benches. Haven't been asked that on our prior visits. I go to the bench only for another customer to tell me that his son is using that bench and starts putting my shoes on the floors. It is currently f5:55 minutes ago I went to try to pick up my online order. And with 15 minutes until closing time They were already closed. both employees there were on the computer when I showed up. The doors were already locked and they told me "their systems were down ". If you are in a hurry this is the wrong place. If you need to be around closing time this is the wrong place. Obviously these people were trying to close early. I really , really, really wish the Mesa Riverview store was still open but this store is just as good. I mean, its a chain store where they are all pretty much the same, right? Today I went in to look for work shoes, as I know they are super expensive I decided to buy a couple at one time so I can stock up. I am absolutely so grateful I came here today. I have never once ever had an experience like I did today. I went to the clearance section and found some shoes for $65.00 I was in shock, so I got excited and bought some, to my surprise they scanned as $5.00, immediately I looked at the cashier like something was wrong (he was the assistant manager) he called over the store manager because we were both in shock (mind you these shoes are normally $109) so he called him over and verified it....to my surprise they said it scanned as $5.00 that's what he gets it for! You can imagine my surprise he said that! I work in retail and have for 11 years and have never had such a great experience! It is evident that he is a passionate Leader within the organization. Store is clean. Nice selection. I get really annoyed when I walk into a store and a gentleman asks if I need help and I said oh I am just looking and thank you. Then the guy comes over and says well what do you need help with, I said I already have found what I am looking for and don't need help, but thank you. Third time the guy comes over and I said I don't need help again and to please leave me alone. This was all within 5 minutes. I got I needed to check out, Brenda then asks for my last name, she said well for the rewards. I said oh I don't need this thank you. Then I slide my card, she asks to see my card, why does this person need to see my card for a $4.00 transaction and not check my ID to compare to the credit card transaction...not sure. Very friendly, but when i asked about the price difference with the same shoes a couple stores down at DSW she just shrugged at me with nothing to say with this blank look in her face, this is the manager mind you. So with no aggressive price match offer I walk away and keep looking. As I walk into the clearance section I spotted shoes I liked with a fair price of $60 bucks for the taking. I immediately started taking my shoes off and getting the Nikes I ready. During that time the manager came around the corner very swiftly and stopped about a foot maybe two feet from me. Then asks, "so what kind of deals are you looking for today?"(I had already asked her what deals they had when I walked in and she replied, "what you see is what you get.".) I said,"Any good deals would be nice.".. This lady then has the nerve to say,"Yeah we'd all like that now wouldn't we.... So what kinda shoes were you looking for today?"... She literally asked me what kinda of shoes I was looking for as I was getting those Nikes ready to put on my foot..... Seriously??? You really didn't notice the shoes I had in my hand? So I tell her,"you know I'll be good and really don't need any assistance, I can handle this." So she walks away.. 30 seconds later the other employee, who was also training a new employee on something in the front comes over and starts talking about the shoes in the clearance section 4 feet from me. I thought to myself,"you gotta be kidding, this lady thinks I'm about to run off with these." So I grabbed the shoes put them in the box and walked to the register, seeing the training materials on the counter where the other employees left off due to them coming over and standing by me. The lady starts talking and I interrupt with, "does it look like I'm going to steal? Do I really look like someone who's going to steal from you?" And the lady(mind you she's the manager) says while shrugging her shoulders," well, I gotta take care of my store?" I looked at her with disbelief and replied,"you just lost a sale and a customer." and walked out of the store leaving without the shoes I wanted.. I'm a hard working individual and I pay my fair share of taxes and remain a kinda caring person with moral and ethical values. I feel insulted by her actions and I don't feel she deserves my business treating me and acting the way she did towards me. Not cool at all. Went into this store last week Monday. Received a gift card and knew what style of shoe I wanted. Quickly went through their selection (store was a little messy) but I noticed that while there were other customers in the store, the manager Gina kept an eye on me like I was going to steal. She made a few comments to me (nice jacket) but never asked if I needed anything, saw the shoes I would have purchased and as I was trying on whether 11.5 or 12 were going to be a better fit, Gina comes up and says, "there are seats in middle if you would like to sit." I acknowledged and said no thank you, she came back a min later and then proceeded to state,"actually, we have had a few incidents here, I am going to need you to sit in the middle." She just 100% lost my business. Not only do you have other customers in the store that you didn't seem worried about at all, you followed me around the store like you were trying to catch me doing something sinister, I did not feel welcome...and why single me out? I was going to purchase the shoes but that just turned me off and made me very angry so I walked out of the store. I am a store manager myself and you know, I would never make a person feel like I am watching them. I know how to approach and start a conversation and ask them what I could help them with. This is how you reduce theft in the store. Not just making a judgement call that that person looks like a thief, therefore I will be cautious and follow them and not ask them anything. Very poor service. Will never give my business to them again, I will go somewhere that has an atmosphere that is open and I am not feeling like I am being watched for some reason that isn't there. Perhaps, Gina being a store manager should have some customer service training so she doesn't lose sales. A more preferable option would be to act like you are catering to the customer...then perhaps you would've made a sale and gained a loyal customer. Better luck next time Gina! read more
