I asked the nurse what to do for a rash he got that was getting worse she was so mean and said "I don't know, I guess put lotion on it" and walked away. One day I decided to take him to the hospital. My son ended up hospitalized with Kawasaki Disease and the specialist at Children's told us that I did the right thing to bring my son to them because this disease can significantly hurt his cardiovascular system if not treated. Rude nurses and Dr. that doesn't listen to moms! We might not be doctors but we have instincts that science can't explain! if you cant listen to mom you are not a good doctor.

When we finally arrived, we were turned away for being "late," even though we were within minutes of the scheduled time. Meanwhile, we were made to wait just to be told we wouldn't be seen. To make it worse, the office wasn't even busy. There seems to be constant turnover with both doctors and staff, and the overall experience feels disorganized and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this has been a repeated pattern, not a one-time issue.

I had to call in my kids for this check up. when I got there Amanda said they would only see one of my kids because we were late. Then she was running back and forth then was like oh look at that we don't take your insurance. My kids have been going to the doctor office since they were 4 and 6. They could have told me about the insurance ahead of me calling my kids out driving so far in the snow. Based on my last 2 visits of them trying to give my kids medicine they don't need. I should have changed doctors then. Amanda also recommended I go to the urgent care for physical because the service would be better. I actually did and the were so amazing So thanks for that.

They had someone in training do our babies shots and they didn't ask us if we were comfortable with that. Took a lot longer than it should have and they couldn't even decide/ guide us how we should hold our baby to make him comfortable. We could tell she wasn't comfortable doing it as well. The second nurse in the room also tried to take my baby from me as I'm holding him so she can hold him before/for his shots . Absolutely not. Why would a stranger holding him make him more comfortable before his shots? Don't try to grab him without asking when he's clearly in my arms and comfortable before he will be in pain. I understand everyone has to learn but let the parents decide if they're okay with that first. We weren't and it created a bad experience. We won't be back

My son tested for high lead levels at his 12 month check up, so they tested him again a couple…read moreweeks later and they still showed high, so they said they would take a vein sample from his arm And if he still tested positive they would let me know and would have to notify the health department, the next week I called every child's pediatric to see if his test had come back yet and they said they would have someone reach out to me that day. Several days goes by and I get a call from the health department to set up an appointment for them to come to our house to test for lead. This past week the pediatrician office called to tell me he still had high lead and that they were going to have the health department call, I'm furious because the pediatrician office should have reached out first. This is not professional, the lack of communication is very poor.

Not only was Dr. Brandon up to date on healthy feeding practices, he also recommended an amazing lactation consultant that came to our house. He makes us feel good about the health decisions we are making and encourages us to ask questions when we feel somethings off. He has great bedside manner and explains the "what's and why's" which is very helpful to us as new parents (especially for my husband). We have also seen Jordan, PA-C and his nurse Megan who were amazing and got us through our first ear infection. They both called to check on us over a holiday weekend and answered questions we had about additional problems that arose from the antibiotics. We felt supported and knew our baby was in great hands. I totally agree with the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." We're so glad Stapleton Peds is part of our village!

I have to fire Colorado Kids Pediatrics. My son has had iron deficiency anemia for *three years*…read moreand they never wondered why it wasn't getting better, even after oral supplementation. He's a super compliant kid, too - he took the pills. I was the one who had to ask for a hematology referral because they didn't ask themselves why an otherwise healthy BOY (not menstruating) would be iron deficient. He also had an elevated liver enzyme lab in February. There was no recommendation for follow up, so again, I had to have them order a repeat test to see if there was a trend. It took *6 phone calls* for them to put the order in correctly. The lab resulted with another elevated ALT. This is a meaningful indicator that he could have NAFLD, a totally treatable liver condition...if it's recognized. You bet your bottom I'm not going to follow up with Colorado Kids Pediatrics. I'd just have to tell them what the next steps are and what labs to put in. I'm so mad; why aren't they able to do their job? If I wasn't a provider myself, he wouldn't be getting appropriate treatment for his iron deficiency and the elevated ALT would have gone unnoticed.

Particularly want to shout out Alice Tibbetts for being such a kind and accommodating PCP. The office does a good job in general with scheduling, text reminders, and having a good set up with epic my chart. Additionally, equipment and rooms are kept very clean. It's a great policy for them to have a separate well and sick area.

Not only were they extremely rude every time I called to speak to anyone, but they constantly acted like I was inconveniencing them at THEIR JOB. As someone who used to be a front desk manager, you would have to pick me up off the floor if anyone on my team ever spoke to patients that way. On top of being treated like an untouchable, we were constantly referred to places that either didn't take our insurance or didn't service the area. While the care may be decent, it just wasn't worth dealing with staff speaking to me like an idiot or hanging up on me on the phone.
