I witnessed RBTs having to practice outside of their scope due to lack of leadership. This company is so termination hungry that they fired their only BCBA at this location without any proper trade off of case load to the bcba that was "helping out." When the helper BCBA came there was lack of leadership and knowledge in terms of the caseload she's taking on. There excuse was that she was just subbing in however this completely disregarding the dangers this could put the RBTs and Clients in when not properly handling behaviors. I was hired on as a student and was assigned under this helper BCBA and after my employment there, it took numerous of emails just to get my hours signed off by her due to lack of communication. Through out the clinic there are cameras where they can watch you via their cell phones. It was also told to me by VARIOUS of people that these cameras have audio. Which is illegal in Illinois. When addressing these ethical concerns with HR the CEO replied back that quote "We use an outside vendor to install our CCTV equipment, and if there were any audio recordings, that was a mistake".... not apologizing for the envision of privacy nor the ethical concerns. Also when bringing up the rest of the ethics codes that were being violated he had then responded he will address them if "he chooses to do so." And lastly instead of taking my ethical concerns seriously he said "The staff in that center all have stellar work histories. I've known three of them for seven years and there is not a blemish on anyone's work history. They all have far more experience than you seem to have." I've been a RBT for 5 + years and hold a masters degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I take ABA ethics very seriously, and this company consistently failed to uphold them. I cannot recommend this workplace to anyone seeking a professional, ethical, and safe environment for clients or staff.

Keep in mind my daughter had already done multiple horse back riding sessions through our special needs recreation department. They said they thought the horse was probably also too small after the session. (Not our fault). Fast forward less than a week and we get a call saying she can't participate anymore because of safety. Keep in mind NONE of this was articulated to me after the session. It was "it's okay, lots of kids have a hard first session. We will see you next week". Nope. They won't even try again. If your kid has behavior issues, don't count on hummingbird. Ridiculous experience.

Super happy with my son's therapist, Rachel. Huge facility with so many resources. They can even help your child ride a bicycle. They offer aquatics as well programs with horses. Just amazing stuff! They have a really neat gym as well. The minute you walk in the door your mood gets elevated. Such a happy place! My son is here for occupational therapy to help with fine motor skills development. However they offer almost any program you can imagine including talk therapy to help with emotions. Honestly, can't say enough about this facility and this is after our first visit! She then talked my daughter through her turn with the same care and reassurance. This was the first time I had visited TRE to meet my new OB-Gyny…read more Actually, the appointment began 3 weeks prior when I attempted to move my records from my previous MD to this office. What a hassle! However, the TRE reception staff were amazingly helpful. Mary Ann Stephens was especially helpful. After several phone call attempts that ended in failure, Mary Ann offered to walk down to the other office and speak with them personally. Wow! That kind of customer service doesn't happen much any more. My appointment was "old school". We chatted and got acquainted before I undressed for the comprehensive physical. I had a list of questions that I had been saving for my annual appointment. Dr. Kim answered the ones that applied to her expertise and at no point did I feel rushed. Dr. Kim was knowledgeable and patient, pointing out a couple of lifestyle changes I should make, along with discussing her specialty area. I have no idea why I had not heard about Dr. Kim and her staff prior to this, but this is truly a wonderful medical office.
