I left a message on the Community Care site to be told my doctor and his office does not monitor the site. Once again I called my doctors office with no response. Dismissive, unprofessional. I feel I'm just a number, someone they want to play God for. I've never experienced such uncare in my adult life. This is regarding the care I've received at the Albany clinic. They just do what they want without any regard to the quality of your life. My health is in decline and my stress is through the roof. After being with LM for over 25 years I am leaving them for another more competent, attentive, and honest practice. Their ADM staff and Dr. Papuzza's team is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. And I'm pretty sure they have a Nurse Ratchet working their as well. DISMISSIVE, CONDESCENDING, NASTY. Received nothing but the run around from them for 2 days, poor attention and neglect to my health condition. No urgency in communication or calling back their patients. They have really declined in complete overall health care and patient customer service. Community Care physicians held my prescription for ransom, a med that I have been on nearly 10 years, unless I scheduled an office visit and have labs drawn or else find a new physician. They do not put patient safety first. They put their financial incentives first in order to finance all the unnecessary middlemen and paper pushers that have no place in medicine. They engage in these unethical business behaviors so as to profit off of your dependency on medications. I have reported CCP to the American Board of Internal Medicine and the ABIM ears perked up and we are currently corresponding about this. I've been seeing a CCP doctor for over 20 years and the service has steadily gone downhill. My doctor (Dr. Kuehn) switched to this office. First they don't return phone calls. Second they like to argue with you. The office staff that answers is absolutely rude. If I had already seen this doctor, why do I have to try and track down all of my previous medical records just to get an appointment? I won't go with ANY Community Care office for my care now after this experience. Why is it so difficult just to see a doctor nowadays? I've never had to do this with any other doctor before. So to recap, they ignore multiple messages, and then after sitting on hold waiting for someone for 15 minutes they mistake me with someone else then argue with me about past medical records. if I could zero stars I would've! community care is the absolute worse for health care. here's my experience- was a patient for about a year or so. I receive a text alert I have a physical on a Monday morning at 7am on a Friday late afternoon. I would have never made a seven am apt so I attempt to call office is closed. Monday morning I call the office when they opened to cancel and reschedule- a receptionist said okay I'll make a note and have someone call you to reschedule. no call for a few days I didn't think anything of it it was a physical not a sick visit. about a week later I receive a letter in the mail I been discharged for a no show?! okay so I call the Rotterdam office to try to establish new patient they advise I have a bill of 170.00 of what my insurance didn't cover last visit (2 months prior) if I wanted to become a patient I had to pay the bill- no problem! I pay the bill and was advised to call Monday morning. I call back and was told I cannot be a patient! so I call River road ask are you accepting new patients was told yes get to my name DOB etc gets out in golf to be told they suddenly aren't accepting new patients! today I get an email I owe $50.00 for a the no show apt. they will elnever get a penny of that. they are terrible. not to mention the care I got there- it was unprofessional and wrong diagnosis several times. had to tell them what the diagnosis was. they probably discharged me due to my medical knowledge and felt intimated. life your a patient here please find an actual Doctor if your considering becoming a patient please please don't! read more

Called to make a appointment for a wed as im off wed and thurs. Was told my appointment was for may 4th. Get a text and email its for Monday may 2nd which i couldnt make. Tried to call. Forget it. rarely can get anyone. Made another appointment that i had to change which i did on the website. Went back to change appoinment, it said i didnt exist. Tried to call and change. I am writing this review in hopes this office's management will address their deep need for change. It is impossible to get through to anyone in this office. I called at 1:40 and 2:40 on a Monday and both times I got a message that they were closed and to please call the office during regular business hours M-F, 8-4. I left two detailed messages and a third with their emergency service. My husband was in a lot of pain from a kidney stone and we needed to make an appointment. It's 3 days later, and I still haven't received a call back. If their frontline is any indication of their internal system, we surely dodged a bullet. Call people back. read more

I wish I could give them all 0 stars. I will no longer be with Community Care. The receptionist and nurses are RUDE. They rush you. The doctors don't even listen to you. All of my healthcare, will never be through them ever again. I advise people not to go to them. I call and don't get a call back on urgent matters. I call to touch base and the receptionist give attitude and assure me they put in a request for the dr/nurse to call back but still no call. The management of this office and the actual care given is horrible. It is common practice to wait for unusually long periods in the waiting room. Staff has an air of indifference and rudeness. You walk away with little confidence in the knowledge of the physician and the follow through... I gave them several chances and then sought a new primary care physician.. BEWARE!!! read more

Got to take my business elsewhere: Been with my Dr. a long time. No complaints. The administration at the Administrative Offices however - not the lay customer-level contact worker - has me now leaving this organization's client base. Heck, aside from sharing my action of taking my business elsewhere and sharing the reason for taking my action, what else can one practically do when the "organization" clearly appears to not give a hoot when THEY clearly make a mistake, realize it was on them, don't address as stated, and then never responds to the follow up inquiries and the conveyed status of their expressed intended minor correcting action. I just paid out of my pocket to the third party the bill of a seeming trivial amount their actions cost me personally (as per the insurance portion....), cancelled my future appointment, made this notations for the benefit of others - and maybe the company (but am not counting on it) - and will be seeking a different primary care provider. read more

Please Note: This review is specifically for Dr. Christine Campagna, not for Community Care (although they did not respond to what happened when I alerted them of her unprofessional behavior). I saw Dr. Campagna in Nov 2014, after having had extreme symptoms (excessive hair loss, weight gain, anxiety, depression, psychosis, joint pain,...) following untreated Lyme disease (from 2008). She told me there was no way it could be Lyme, and when I asked what my symptoms could indicate, she replied, "I don't know...shit happens?" Needless to say, I was appalled & dejected. Thankfully, I returned to CC a few weeks later & saw Dr. Shin, who was attentive, caring & professional; he sent me for bloodwork which showed an immune disorder, which warranted a referral to a rheumatologist. After additional bloodwork, I tested positive for every single Lyme marker possible, and was administered treatment. Following my diagnosis, I called CC to tell them how I was treated by Dr. Campagna, but they seemed completely uninterested. I am continuing to see Dr. Shin, only because I am in the area temporarily due to my husband's work obligations. I would seek out an alternative medical provider if I were in the area permanently. I would also give Dr. Campagna ZERO stars as a review if it were possible because she was THAT unprofessional, dismissive & inept as a healthcare provider. read more
