I'm really happy I found this practice! My main doctor, and the other clinicians I've met with, along with the office staff, have been lovely. I'm not sure why, but a few other local doctors offices I used to visit locally had desk staff that left me feeling ashamed when I didn't know something or would start conversations with a negative energy. Community care has impressed me across the board, and Latham medical group in particular feels like home now. My clinicians here have made me feel heard and cared for, and they have helped me with a lot of medical challenges. Thanks! Only real downside- they have loud medical ads playing continuously on their waiting room tv. I get migraines and this causes me actual pain, and even if it didn't, I would still find it really annoying. I generally don't mind waiting for appointments, but with the ads it feels like a punishment. Silence or quiet music would be big improvements! read more

Listen to the reviews when they say unprofessional .. I take medicine to sleep and they refused to fill my script when CVS Sent them a request then I called them on Thursday letting them know I needed a script sent Friday it was never there thankfully cvs gave me Emercency medicine to last thru out the weekend called them Monday and let them know it never came thru and they still didn't fill it , now I have to stay up all night untill they open at 8am and hope and pray it will get sent to my pharmacy .. let's not start about going in person numerous times I over heard the staff talking about me and other patients and the doctors are super judgy and unprofessional .. makes you not even want to tell them what's wrong read more

I was referred to the Rheumatologist Group at 6 Wellness Way. Very displeased. Sent me for a numerous amount of bloodwork and xrays, which was fine, but made my follow up appt WEEKS later. During said appt the PA looked over the results for the first time, being totally unprepared to administer any care. Then tells me I must have an ultrasound on my hands after already being x rayed, before any treatment options could be offered. Mind you my RF number was extremely elevated indicating probable Rheumatoid arthritis. Sent me over for the ultrasound only to find out she did not indicate STAT and therefore could not be done at that time. She did manage to request another appointment for me with HER for a MONTH later, so even if the ultrasound could have been done, I would be waiting another month before hopefully getting some treatment for pain. Also wanted to refer me to (her friend from school) an orthopedic surgeon in Saratoga for him to operate on a floater in my knee. What!?! I left there extremely upset and disgusted. I will not be returning after they've milked my insurance for who knows how much money and I've gotten zero help. Mind you, I'm not that old a person, 58, so the pain and stiffness I'm experiencing is not normal for myself who is normally very active. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! read more

If I could give a zero I would. The care at this space has been absolutely atrocious since Dr. Kronick left. Megan the internal care manager was very uninterested with my concern. I am an asthmatic who was told to visit urgent care by good ol' Dr. Allen. I work with the public and was told I'm not able to receive a rapid Covid test! Not certain why that would not take precedence over everything. I'm already at risk, and I'm here to be evaluated. I was told yesterday when I called to go to urgent care they have the rapid testing. I have done just that, to be told that she is not going to do it and I can get a State one is truly a disappointment when I have a primary care dr. I have a damn dr! Why am I still being referred out? For all of that I should've just went to the hospital right? I'm currently waiting to be seen for my asthma. I've never had this much crap when dealing with anything respiratory from Latham medical until recently! I'm very disappointed and will be leaving this practice all together, this will be my last visit here and I will be calling to complain further about the level of care that is not being given. Find nicer people who don't speak condescendingly to your patients. For her to say we will write you a note! I own my business and am in direct contact with the public, it should be an automatic to help contact trace and stop the spread. This group can be described with one word: Unprofessional. They lack basic manners and the doctors and nurses there seem to spend more time gossiping amongst each other rather than seeing to their patients. The disjointed nature in which they run their group seems to stem from mismanagement and they would do well to sort themselves out if they want anyone to take them seriously. Let's try to train the staff and open up communication with both clients and themselves. I'm sure the change would be quite notable. read more

Ok, this place was recommended to me by several friends- specifically Dr. Brown. She is absolutely amazing, no complaints there. The nurses are kind and so are the few other doctors I have dealt with here, BUT THE front desk staff is ABSOLUTELY HORRID. They are so rude. Every time I go in there or call, all I get is attitude. I have tried to lighten the mood by being extra kind to them, and it seems as if I get even more attitude when I do that. From years of customer service experience, I have found the only way to get through to these type of awful workers is by being straight up rude back. They are so unprofessional. I hate to leave Dr. Brown, but the rest of the staff there is so awful that I am more than happy to find a new doctors office with workers who aren't complete asses. read more

First of all, if I were just rating my PCP, I would give her a 5 star rating. Dealing with other staff in the office has mostly been a negative experience. Over the summer, I was transitioning to a new psychiatrist whom I couldn't get in to see until September. Therefore, I needed my PCP office to cover a couple of prescriptions in the interim. The nursing staff gave me a hard time every time. You would have thought I was asking them for controlled substances, which I wasn't. I don't take any controlled substances. Then I had to do a telemedicine consult a month ago about whether to get a COVID test. I did that with a nurse practitioner in the same PCP office. I just received a bill for a $65 instead of $5, because that nurse practitioner billed it as an Urgent Care visit. I am an established patient at that office. Meanwhile, I had to miss my annual physical due to the Covid scare. When I called to reschedule it last week, they said I couldn't be seen for that until the middle of April. So my point is, Dr. Seaman is great, but if you have to deal with anyone else in that office, be prepared for misery. I'm not going to switch away from Dr. Seaman, but I wish that most of the staff at that office would get fired. read more

This place used to be great but now I can't get in for a physical, get a referral nor can I get in during walk in hours. I tried and tried. They don't care about existing clients. I haven't been able to get in for over two freaking years for a physical and today was the fourth time I tried their posted walk-in hours only to be turned away again. Being new to the area I thought Latham Medical Group would be a great place to find a new Dr. I called for three weeks attempting to make a new client appointment, left three voicemails and FINALLY received a call/voicemail. Much to my dismay, upon my return call to schedule (as well as EVERY time I tried to call them) I was on automated hold before becoming frustrated and hanging up. Why would I want to even become a patient at this office if I have to deal with this every time I call?! Tami Seaman was my original primary care and is an excellent doctor and is very personable. I have since changed just to her growing popularity and have been equally impressed. I have been going to Latham Medical for 32 years and and have found the Drs and PA to be very helpful and pleasant. I also found the receptions to be rather rude and snotty. I was so appalled that a contacted the office manager to report one of them. I told the manager and all the time that I've been going there, I have not been talked to the way that one of those receptionist talk to me. So the other reviewer that reported about the receptionists rude conduct is supported by my experience as well. Rarely do I ever visit the doctors office so when I do call, it's because I'm actually sick. I go in for my annual checkup and that's all. But twice now I have called for a "sick appointment" and twice they told me they did not have any appointments and I could not be seen. It was 10am and they had no one to see me. What's the point of calling yourselves primary care physicians when your sick patients can't even get in to see you? I will be transferring my medical records from this group ASAP. read more

I've been going to the Latham medical group the majority of my life. But after the experience I've had the past two days, I'm absolutely disgusted. Went in and discussed my issue with the doctor, the performed a test (that was completely ineffective) and then read the results as if the were accurate somehow making my problem look, not only worse, but completely different from what's going on. From there I was told I'd be referred to specialist... Ok fine, I'll go see specialist. Oh but wait! They call me today saying they've made some random appointment for me with some other doctors office for something that is completely irrelevant to my problem and it was never even discussed with me. Not to mention the doctor (Joan?) and her nurse were extremely rude and condescending throughout my appointment. All in all, I'm disgusted with the lack of communication, the attitude of the doctors, and the fact that none of them seem to know what their doing. Screw you guys. I'm not coming back anymore. Nothing is more frustrating then calling a doctors office and not being able to speak to a human. Years ago when I first started going to Latham Medical Group they were great with communication, it seems as though they are relying heavily too much on technology now. It's quite annoying when you call to set up an appointment and you have to leave a message with all of your information in which you have to speak very slowly and spell out your full name, then they will call back in usually about a day. If you miss their phone call you have to start the process all over once again. A follow up phone call would be nice. I have been through this 4 times now. I realize that technology helps in a lot of aspects but I still feel like an option should be given to speak to an actual person, is it that hard to staff a couple extra people to answer the phone here and there? I hate to be this person, because I'm not one to complain, however I am just trying to help other people not make the same mistake I made. I think they need to reconsider this new phone system, they might be saving some money in payroll but they are going to losing a lot of clients if they keep this going. I am on the lookout for a doctors office that I can trust and communicate with when necessary (maybe twice a year, so crazy right?!) let me know if anyone has any suggestions! read more

I wish I could rate them 0 because they do not deserve a 1. I had pain in stomach, diarrhea and dry haves. Was given an appointment for 12:30 pm. and was told if I am late, they won't see me. Sped to the office and waited but they never called me because they forgot to let the doctor know I was there. Not doctor but a NP who diagnosed me with same virus her kids had. She named her kids, their ages, and details about how hard she had it. Sent me home bent over in pain. Next day I called a GI specialist. Was admitted to hospital with morphine, IV antibiotic from a severe diverticulitis infection. When I got the bill to pay the NP, I called to say she did not do anything except tell me about her kids and her inaction may have caused a hospital stay. I was told I did not have to pay but within a week received a registered letter saying I can never use Latham Medical's service in my life. I made many attempts to find out why but they said they did not have to tell me. read more

A lot of offices in this building, I got lost the first time I went here. It's very nice and clean inside, and they even have a little cafe. The Latham Medical Group of doctors, the receptionists are always snooty, but where are they not? Nice place to go see a doctor. read more

I've been a patient at Latham Med my whole life. However, recently I have been seriously considering finding a new practice. I like my doctor very much, and she is very personable and helpful. Sadly, the short appointments I have with her are prefaced with phone calls from nasty receptionists, and dealing with the unpleasant nursing staff. The office is very unorganized, trying to get any forms or documents faxed from them is like pulling teeth. Many staff members come off as judgmental, and do not make the patient feel welcomed or cared for. I would absolutely not recommend this practice to anyone. read more
