Don't come to this laundromat. I came in here at 7pm to wash my dirty sports equipment. I chose the $4.75 load with hot water. During my wash the water was barely coming out. I told the worker that my machine seemed to not be working properly because my clothes is spinning completely dry in the machine. She replied back to me, "People have been using this machine all day and you're the only one to complain." I replied, "I'm not complaining I just wanted to let you know that this machine isn't working properly." She didn't reply so I went back to staring at my clothes spinning nearly completely dry in the machine. Of course when the load ended I opened the machine and my clothes are barely wet and still super dirty. I said, "Damn it's crazy how my clothes are still dry and how little water these machines let out." After hearing this she offered to let me use another machine but I declined. She could've helped me when I first pointed out the problem instead of making me wait and waste my time. I wasted 50 minutes of my life and a couple dollars at this place.... I wasn't going to spend another 50 minutes in here. I won't be coming back here and I'll be sure to tell my family and friends to not use this laundromat anymore. I don't like doing laundry in my apartment so I came across this place and it was two thumbs up. The inside is very clean and most importantly all the washers have the perfect amount of liquid to clean and the dryers have good heating to dry quickly. This is officially my new fave coin laundry place in ktown!! Hands down the best laundromat!!! First of all, it's conveniently located on Olympic and there's plenty of parking space!! This is definitely a huge plus, especially in ktown on a Sunday. The laundromat was newly remodeled and is very very clean. I'm a girl so I value safety the most. From the moment I parked to the moment I got all my stuff and left, I felt extremely safe. I felt very safe waiting inside too! They have brand new washers and dryers in a variety of sizes! The large washing machines are perfect for people who need to come in to get their heavy duty blankets and sheets washed!! They even have a bathroom that is FREE, I repeat FREE. You can spend that extra quarter on getting your laundry fully dried instead of using it to use the restroom!!! Prices are as follows $1 (smaller machines) $2 (medium) $3 (large) $4 (xtra large) Dryers 25 cents for 12 mins for the newer dryers 25 cents for 10mins for the older dryers The owners are super duper nice!! My regular laundromat was packed so I went to this one. First time. I thought it was okay until I finished my laundry paid $4.50 drier paid $1.50 because I used the large machines. They were all packed with broken machines in the regular size. Machines looked new so I thought not bad until I got home and was hanging my clothes. They are stunk. Something in one of the machines wasn't cleaned properly. Maybe the filters. Wasted my $6 bucks. Went a got them rewatched at my regular spot. Never going back again. Ridiculous. read more

They are very nice and clean but like all laundromats, there are dangerous people that go there. LAPD never helps so it's up to you to defend yourself and others. The majority are Hispanic and gang members looking for prey. Be aware and be careful. Do not talk to anyone there. I now have a stalker from going there for 1 year. He is Hispanic., 44 and drives a gray car 5'8". I reported it to LAPD but they won't do anything until I am dead. LAPD is the worst and often a part of the problem in the neighborhood. Here I am sitting here waiting for my clothes to wash. I'm quite disappointed because instead of writing this review I should be typing my paper for school. However, there isn't any wifi here as advertised. I came here specifically for the wifi to "kill two birds with one stone" and guess what? The 2nd bird is still alive, guys. This laundromat is decent. No frills or thrills and no exquisite decor. And there's weird pricing for the different washers. I don't understand why one is a dollar more than the other, but I'm no wash machine expert to have the slightest clue anyway. This place gets the job done if you're in the area and the prices are between $1.50-3.50 a wash. Plus, it looks decently clean and the customer service is on point. Really nice guys. The downside are the broken utilities. The ATM isn't working, 1 of the 2 coin machines are down, a few machines are out of order and to put the cherry on top, there is no wifi right now. Came here due to my local laundry place being closed for the day. The washer machines were great, provided a good amount of water throughout the wash cycle. What makes this place a bit disappointing is that the dryers were less than adequate. They don't get hot at all compared to other dryers I've used and they give 8 minutes per quarter. Most standard commercial dryers give 12. Definitely something they have to fix. Paid twice as much as I normally do to get my cloth dry. The other thing that was disappointing was how dusty the counter tops were. I guess they don't have someone maintaining the place. Would I come back? Only if if it was my last option. read more

I just went back to Laundryland and I was surprised with all the changes. There are two TV's, new washers and they don't charge to use the restroom. The attendant is very helpful. They've got signs all over the place advertising Fluff and Fold services. I went at 8am to take a huge bag because my kitchen /laundry room is being remodeled. The signs inside said the drop off window is open 9am-1pm, and 6-10pm. So I come back at 9:45am and the drop-off window is still closed. I knocked on the door with no response. A customer that didn't seem to speak English came up and just kept shaking her head no so I guess no Fluff and Fold after all? "Matt," "the owner," accused me of writing a review on Yelp when I was minding my business hoping that I was wrong about the water level in the washing machine and reading emails. Insecurity is revelatory. This review was Matt's irrationally confrontational suggestion; so, enjoy! The rating is due to (1) the phenomenal unprofessionalism of the owner, Matt, (2) more than half of my laundry coming out of the wash cycle bone dry, and (3) the limitless potential for growth (i.e. learning). The clean and newish machines may not clean properly by design. A neighbor who worked at the laundromat recommended it. I scouted it before use: it was clean, patrons were genial and answered my question, and their hours were convenient. All of these things remain true (i.e., one earned star). I asked if the water level was correct for the machine. My load was appropriate for the capacity of the machine (i.e. less than 20 lbs. wet; Matt informed me of the cap while blame-shifting). I know this weight as a person who regularly carries 24 lbs. Matt offered serially: (1) Give it a minute. (~I did.) (2) Those are factory settings. (3) I don't know what to tell you. (4)"Not to be rude, but you paid what $1.25..." The rest of this sentence equally offered nothing useful. If (3) is in your repertoire, just stop talking. No good can come of you talking when you "don't know what to tell" me, but you continue to tell me things. Why? For what?? None of this response indicated he knew or cared what the normal water level for that machine was, which is curious. To "not to be rude...," I responded, "You do mean to be rude." That is the cleanest appraisal of our interaction. Rude. What does the cost of the wash have to do with whether a machine works properly? Why call out a choice of using a machine set at that price by the owner(?...who is you)? None of what he said before his cigarette was a rational response, but he did give away his intentions and assumptions in his "apology." I attempted to deescalate the absolutely undue crazy hostility parceled to me by explaining my comment (i.e., "You do mean to be rude.") He brought up the cost of the load immediately following "not to be rude." Where would rudeness come in if you weren't about to make a truck-load of assumptions, patronize me, and try to make me feel small for asking about water level? I ask. In his "apology" there were no less than six "you have to understand[s]"and detailing that he gives "people free washes," and "people complain" all day. While possibly true, that had (and has) nothing to do with me or anything I did or said. He was not rushed off his feet. The laundromat was dead at the time. There were two older Korean gentleman minding their business and doing laundry. One was actually asleep when I walked in. Logistics: After the water stopped apx.1 min in, I was concerned about whether this was the general level of water dispersion for all machines and the time needed to rewash. If this is the water level, then trying any other machine would waste more of my TIME. (Consequently, the more expensive machines apparently usually get complaints about water level as told by Matt). Professionalism: Matt was nasty and downtalking me for asking about if a machine worked properly AT MY FIRST VISIT. I glossed over a lot. He, a "business owner," had to be coaxed into having a civil conversation with a customer, rather than at turns being patronizing, nasty, and condescending. The apology was GRUDGING acknowledgement that he got hostile without provocation from me. I would have been glad to try this laundromat again on another day and not review this experience, but my load came out DRY plus the "a lot" that I glossed over. The machine was not choked with laundry. I know how to use low flow, energy efficient washing machines. This machine was not that AND did not deliver enough water. There are many coin laundromats with and without laundry service in Koreatown. What is the point of operating a service business, if one is so easily set off by one run-of-the-mill question? A customer does not have to be solicitous, accommodating, or understand anything about the customer-service irritants that is part and parcel of running a business. This presumption will run a business into the ground, because it is obtuse. **To be clear, I was more than polite. FUN: Matt volunteered that he thought I was trying to "get over" by asking about and pointing to the water level. The logic of it does not erase the hostility. Matt "give[s] free washes all day," but he draws the line at ONE "$1.25" wash...for someone who has never before been a patron AND never even suggested a refund was due... and I "have to understand"... Logic? I understand who Matt is and how he operates. I sincerely hope he is either (1) not the owner or (2) has the capacity to learn how to be professional. I normally wouldn't go to a laundromat because my building has a small laundry room, but I needed quarters. I thought it would be rude to take a bunch or quarters then leave so I did a couple baskets of laundry. This place was very clean and not too busy for a weekend day. All the machines were in great condition and well maintained so there wasn't much to complain about. I could see this place being difficult to do laundry in if it got busy though because there's not really that much space for people to sit and wait and the isles aren't very large, but like I said, I enjoyed my time at this place. They also have vending machines available for both snacks and laundry items like soap and dryer sheets. Cool place! read more

I've been looking for a new laundry place to go do clothes on Sundays and I came across this place. I liked how it looked but one of the washers finally spin was going slow that when it stopped my clothes where still dripping wet. The guy was nice enough to let me put it in another washer for free just for the final spin. So decided to give the place a second chance just used a different washer machine the following week and now this one was throwing any water my clothes was just spinning in the washer still dry. This place really needs to upgrade their machines. Its a nice place in a nice location but really old machines. I need to find a new place. read more

I needed to do some laundry and decided that on my way back home that I would stop at this laundry mat since it was the first one I saw and wanted to try a different place. It opens at 6 and I got there a little bit after 6. Was the only one there and looked around at the different prices and saw some machines for $1,$3 and even $4. I used the $4 and Depending on if you want cold warm or hot you'll pay $4, $4.25 or $4.50 . I also read on reviews that says that if you check in you can get free wash but I wasn't able to redeem the offer because no attendant was there so I had to deduct a star. The row of $4 machine which in total has 5 machines, only one was working while the rest were "out of service" and that was just the $4 machine. There were other machines as well as dryers that were out of service. Even the bathroom was out of service. As I walked around I counted at least 5 dryers that had clothes left in there, Now remember, I was the first one there and got there just after 6 so I doubt that someone came before washed and dried there clothes that quick. To have so many washers and dryers out of service but then to have people clothes left in the dryer overnight it takes up the limited dryers that are available. So another star deducted. When it was time to dry, I used two dryers. $.25 gets you 12 mins Added one quarter to the dryer but it took my quarter and didn't even start so I had to switch to a different dryer which worked. Used another dryer and I put my $.25 in but instead of it giving me 12mins it only Gave me 11mins which I don't get why the dryers give different times. But ok. So for it I taking my quarter and giving me one minute less on another dryer, one more star deducted. And the last star was for the cleanliness, there was empty soft drink bottles and trash on the tables that were there,trash cans were practically full and almost overflowing Pros: they have two change machine, one of which you can change your nickels and dimes into quarters which I thought was really different since I've never seen that before at any other locations. Got $3 in Quarters from all the change i had laying around in my car. FREE WiFi that actually worked. Had no problems logging in. Cons: can't redeem your free wash when there's no attendant around. Too many out of service machines, empty vending machines, sub par cleanliness, dryers don't give same amount of dry time read more

This use to be my go to laundromat. The washer got my clothes clean and the dryers got my clothes dry really fast. Dryers use to be free on Tuesday and Wednesdays. They were one of the cleanest and most cost efficient in the area that got their job done. They no longer offer that. And the dryers now suck! They are earlier extremely hot to the point they burn your clothes or you have to spend $2 to dry some basic under shirts. Not sure if they are under new management or what, huge disappointment. I have tank tops drapped all over my apartment. Time to find a new laundromat. I will only come back here if I have no choice or need to only wash and not dry something. read more

I come here to wash my heavy thick blankets. Triple load requires 14 quarters or $3.50 each and dryers are $0.25 each. The dryers aren't very hot even though I pressed the hot heat button. The Triple Load washing machine takes about 28 minutes, and the dryer takes 12 minutes. Many of the dryers are broken, so it sucks! There is also a sink where you can wash your hands and a bathroom (don't know how clean it is!) Lastly, the parking is really bad here; there are only a few parking spots available here. There is also a liquor store next door, so you can get snacks if you are hungry while waiting. The other coin laundry mats I know are: the one on PICO & Arlington and one on Venice & Western Ave (inside the Food For Less, Payless, CVS Pharmacy, and Carl's Jr. Shopping Center). read more

I don't know if these folks have new ownership or just hired new people or what, but there has been a huge difference. If you had a bad experience before (I know I did), give them another try. The dryers are cheap and have good capacity, there are phone chargers for different types of devices so you can hang out on the phone while you wash, and the whole place seems a lot cleaner than before.
