I never knew about this place until a friend chose it as a meeting spot for us. It's kind of tucked in a not so obvious place. We explained to staff that we hadn't been there before and staff was super friendly, welcomed us, and explained things and gave us suggestions. My vanilla latte was the best! It was served to our table in a glass mug with a delicious and unexpected topping on it. They bus your table when you're done. It is a warm, friendly, cozy atmosphere. I love this shop. It's decorated very cozy, it's in a quieter area of town, and a really convenient meet up place with friends. I can take work there when my house is too loud and sit in a quiet corner with it to focus. It's bright, well lit, bathrooms are clean, and just as a neat touch they have little things for sale from local businesses and artists. I liked the nitro brew drink I had, it was a new experience for me. It wasn't coffee, but it was like a lemonade type of thing I had with my my chicken salad sandwich. I really liked both! I'll order the sandwich again for sure. My friend said her blueberry muffin was great. The employees were a highlight, as well. They were chatting amongst each other while they worked, fostering a good atmosphere that was comfortable and laid back. Not a good place for people interested in drinking coffee. Ordered a 16 oz black coffee and the drink tasted like the beans had been burnt and had a note of paint. Snippy service. I asked for my drip coffee (cheap) to not have room for cream and sugar 3 times and when I got my cup, it was half empty (or half full depending on how you want to look at it), but there was definitely room. I have been coming to Community Cup ever since it opened and I absolutely love it there!!! The owner is so friendly and so is the staff. They have great coffee and the cutest kid drinks! I have three littles and two of them aren't in school yet so it awesome to have a kid friendly coffee place to go to! They even have little puzzles and things for the kids to do! I was excited for a new coffee shop in my hometown, but was disappointed with the quality of the coffee itself. My vanilla latte was watered down and tasted like fake sugar. My friend tried one of their nitro brews (kudos for having those! one of the first coffee shops in the area to do so), but we both decided it neither tasted like coffee or was worth finishing. Very nice place! We ordered two apple cinnamon pecan muffins, a cookie, a Minnie Mouse milk with whip and glitter, a vanilla latte with whip (12 oz) and edible glitter and a simple latte (12 oz). Cost us $20. Might seem pricey but the chain store I usually go to charges me $8 for a coffee and a pastry too. Service was good and friendly. I read reviews about burnt coffee bean taste but my latte was very smooth and even without sugar, it wasn't bitter at all. Although next time I'll ask for my latte extra hot. The muffin was delicious. My daughter loved her pink Minnie Mouse milk but she didn't enjoy the whip on top (she is a picky eater). She loved the cookie! Sitting was ample. They had high bar stools and tables on one side and regular seating on the other. It seems like a very nice place to sit and get work done. I really enjoyed the whole setting and loved my latte. Hubs tried the Nitro Cold Brew and I got a SF Hazelnut Latte with soy. I also ordered a biscuit with egg and cheese; it was good as well. They also offer a variety of vegan desserts. My first latte I had was a PB banana one and the consistency was a little odd and took away from the flavor, but I just tried a caramel/vanilla latte and it is very good!
