Some folks said they didn't love the texture- compared them to Duncan Donuts, but I can tell you they were really only comparable to 1 Duncan donut, but for the life of me I have NO idea what it's called. The one I tried wasn't cake, nor was it melt-soft like Krispy. It has a sort of fried chew that, to me, is just what I love! Not sweet either. A nice balance of fried, chew, sweet & the glaze was a nice flavor. I will crave this, which is why I looked them up right away & snapped pics to remind me where to go. And that is me pretty much an expert in customer service letting you know that everyone may have a bad day, but their customer service is top-notch. Just like their baked goods just like all of the items that they sell. They curate the best of the best and that is no joke. I did an event with this business two months ago. I thought I had done my review clearly I did not. So for that, I apologize. I had the absolute best experience that you can possibly have with a business to create a wonderful event for my attendees. And I had over 200 people at that event. I did not get one bad comment or one mediocre comment about how the food was. I utilize them for several different aspects of my event. For snacks to go with the fun hours, for grab and go lunch on the last day, and for a continental style breakfast one morning. I'd also like to add that this event was all men. And most of you know that men will eat almost anything and it's really not complain. However, all of the men commented on the creativity that I chose to give them things that they wouldn't normally get at a men's retreat. PS.
