There's also a separate sunny porch area that is much quieter than the main room. When the noise level inside got a little loud with music and typical coffeehouse chatter, I moved outside. You'll find plenty of outdoor seating. I just wish there was a little more shade. I came here to meet with friends on a Fri morning. Thankfully parking wasn't too much of an issue but I can see the small private lot being a challenge for large groups. I'm definitely a fan of the pretzel roll I ordered - contrary to its name, it looks like a nothing like a roll but more like a savory flattened croissant which had some slight amount of protein (can't remember if it was chicken or ham) inside. Chris and his wife have built something special. The shop is clean, welcoming, and incredibly well thought out. Whether you're looking for a comfortable couch to relax, a family table, an individual workspace with power outlets, or just a quiet place to read a book, they've created a space that works for everyone. One of my favorite touches was their community book exchange. Grab a book, enjoy a coffee or pastry, read for a while there or at home, and bring it back when you're finished. It's a simple idea, but it adds a lot of character to the shop. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I went with the COMBAT CLUB sandwich (ham, turkey, bacon, swiss, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, garlic aoli on sourdough), chips, a Diet Coke, and a Reese's peanut butter cookie. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The sandwich was loaded with meat and made for a great lunch. The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. You order and they'll call out your name for pick up when it's ready. I also got to meet Cassie, the service dog who quietly hangs out in her own little corner. She was adorable and perfectly behaved. What stood out most wasn't any single menu item... it was the atmosphere. The entire place feels like it was designed to bring people together. Between places like Roundabout Deli, Hatsu Hibachi, and now IGY6 Coffee Company, Dawsonville is building a reputation for some truly outstanding locally owned businesses. IGY6 in old town Dawsonville is convenient for a drive thru and it's nice to have options. The coffee is actually pretty good, but my last 2 visits, a week apart, have been disappointing for the quality, freshness and price. I will give it a whirl for a 3rd time at the new location ... the 3rd time is a charm, right?... and everyone has off days or maybe growing pains? I very much would like for them to succeed.

The pimento cheese was good but served on a nutty brown bread-not the bread for pimento cheese. The curried chicken salad, not good at all. We didn't eat it. The egg salad had zero flavor. It was like plain eggs and mayo. Not even a tad a salt. The same with the cucumber sandwiches. Zero flavor. It just tasted like cream cheese. The lemon curd and jam for the scones was delicious. The scone, fairly average at best. The desserts, we didn't eat them. I'm very sad I'm leaving this review. I wonder if the owner is different or if they are having financial troubles and cutting costs. My niece wanted to take me there as a thank you for helping her and I steered her away due to the price and experience not being in line.
