YUM! Best pizza in Chat, for real. We love NY style but the Detroit also looked AH-MAZING. They had a wait so we sat outside at the bar facing the Nightfall action. Great for people watching, not so great for sweating constantly haha. The Little Italy was SPICY - super surprising, but soooo yummy. I took one star off the review for the appetizer - Community Meatballs. This restaurant was far from perfection. Their kids pasta was insanely spicy with no warning along with the sauce. The waitress told the kids to just chug water. The meatball was fake meat so not very edible. Their costumer service was poor. The waiter was quite rude when the girls asked for lemonade. As far as cleanliness, very dirty. I'll admit we finished them off despite previously talking about how we wanted to cut down on carbs lol. Next we ordered the Demarco pizza NY style. I LOVE NY style pizza. True NY style is amazing, it's thin with soft fluffy crust and if it's done right you gotta fold it to eat it. Community Pie knows how to do NY style pizza! The Demarco was delicious, light on the sauce and full of flavor with multiple cheeses! Community Pie offers three styles of pizza; NY style, Detroit Style deep dish (similar to Chicago), & Neapolitan which is wood fired with the bubbly crunchy crust. Something for everyone! Lots of options when it comes to types of pizza, toppings, salads, & apps! I imagine when it's not a pandemic this is a fun hopping place with the beer flowing and the pizza ovens hot! Can't wait to go back pandemic or not and this will definitely be one of our take out spots! While in Chattanooga for a long weekend, we had some time to kill to find a lunch place close to our hotel. We found community pizza. A very neat interior. My kids were happy to see spaghetti on the kids menu. We ordered garlic knots as an appetizer. Four garlic knots for $12! Not off to a good start as the portion was small and they had little taste. I ordered chicken parmigiana as my entree. I like mine better than my wife. Her chicken caprese had what she described as " old stale and hard bread". There's WiFi in Miller plaza while you're waiting to dine in in one of the spacious booths or high tops that seat 6, or you could order "to-go" and eat at one of the tables in the plaza. The pizza is delicious and cooked to perfection. The crust on the Detroit Style (think deep dish) is firm and crispy throughout AND you can do combo pizzas. That way if you and your partner want different pizzas you don't have to order two. If you have room for desert try the gelato. I had a pale ale and wife had a sour, both tasty. We grabbed the Demarco NY style and a spicy bianca Detroit style. I am so so glad this is the pizza place we chose when my son said it was a pizza lunch kind of day! We were so comfortable here. We got our choice of seating, and chose a big comfy booth. The booths are SO amazing. They feel private and comfort and fun. The sound level was not overwhelming, the atmosphere was just so nice. I definitely want to come back here for a date night and try the drinks and some more of the menu. We got cheese by the slice and it was delicious, a little on the greasy side but really tasty. So first of all this restaurant is a gem buried in the middle of concrete jungle. The banner Community Pie was small on both ends that we missed it the first two times while trying to find this place. And we drove in dark. Maybe daylight would have helped us. We then decided to go into a restaurant that has this big shining sign board with golden lights that said Pizza. Then once we were close to the entrance we found out that this is the same Community Pie place we were looking for in the first place. We dined in here last night for dinner. The outside roads were quiet but the inside was packed with people. Really great ambience. Kids and family friendly as well. We were on a business trip and stopped on the way to eat dinner. They are right on the main road so parking is meter based. I am not sure if they have any parking lots near by or underground. I am not sure if they have any outside seating. The staff were super busy and super great & friendly. I chose this restaurant because of the awesome reviews given by other Yelpers... And no doubt this place is great in food and customer service. The food tasted delicious. They have plenty of options for all. They have options for vegetarians, vegan lovers and more. The restaurant had great lighting inside. They also have inside bar seats. We order it for our daughter and it was noodles in a watery bowl with a little sauce. She ate one bite and that was it, which I can't really blame her.
