I was very satisfied with the service I received from this company. Everything went as it was explained to me.

I went with them…read morebecause their customer service seemed great during the sales process, and they promoted a strong warranty and service plan that was included in the price. Unfortunately, the experience didn't really live up to those expectations. The installation itself didn't go as planned. During the initial appointment, measurements apparently weren't taken correctly. When the installers arrived, they realized the system wouldn't fit as expected and had to cut out part of the ceiling to make everything work. Because of this, the installation took much longer than expected and they had to come back another day to finish the job. About a month later when I tried to turn the heat on for the first time, the system didn't work. I had to call for a service appointment, and the technician discovered that the system had never actually been turned on by the installers. The tech initially tried to charge me around $100 for the visit, which I pushed back on since the issue was clearly related to the installation. After some discussion they eventually agreed not to charge me. Now that it's tax season, I've run into another issue. One of the selling points during the sales process was that the system would qualify for energy tax credits and rebates. When I started filing my taxes, I learned that the IRS requires the cost of each component to be itemized. However, my invoice from Daniel's lists everything as one lump sum. For the past couple of months I've been calling Daniel's trying to get an itemized invoice or clarification so I can properly claim the rebate. Each time I've been told that Adrian would call me back, but I never received a return call. Today I finally spoke with someone who told me they will not provide an itemized invoice and didn't really have any solution. The whole experience has been frustrating. The sales process and promises were great, but the follow-through has been disappointing. Between the installation issues, the system not being turned on, and now the lack of support with documentation for the rebates they promoted, the customer service just hasn't matched what was advertised. I'm not sure I could recommend Daniel's based on my experience. If customer service and clear communication matter to you, that's something to keep in mind.

After…read morementioning we had a more competitive offer from another company, the same Daniel's estimator provided a secondary revised quote with a lower price, which ultimately led us to choosing Daniel's for the repair. The job itself had to be rescheduled on short notice and we were accommodating to the request. However the work was completed well and the technician was friendly and professional. However, the issue came with billing. The invoice we received did not reflect the most recent discounted quote we had agreed to. We contacted the company multiple times and were told each time that a manager would call us back, but we never received a response. After several follow-ups and no resolution, the situation escalated into a frustrating phone conversation. In the end, we felt it wasn't worth continuing to pursue and paid the higher amount, despite it not matching the agreed-upon quote. While the quality of the work was good, the lack of follow-through and failure to honor the quoted price left a very disappointing impression. We were not in pressed with the professionalism of the front office and warn patrons to be weary of estimates.

Five different guys came out for this plumbing issue and all of them were great. It appears the leak is gone now and Fred even swung back by this morning to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction which is nice in 2026 where so many people don't even seem to try anymore. I will use these guys again if I have any additional problems

When the Roto-Rooter supervisor came out that evening he gave me a whole song and dance about how they would work with insurance, it would be fully covered, etc. while providing me with quite a large range of estimate. At certain points he even said he was quoting "high" so it would help the coverage. The final invoice ended up being so dramatically higher than what my insurance company and their independent third-party reviewer determined was reasonable and customary for the work performed that they could not come to an agreement. Even after revisions, there remained a significant dispute regarding pricing and scope which I am responsible for. Throughout this process, I was caught in the middle between Roto-Rooter and Nationwide/Accuserve, despite having no meaningful involvement in directing the mitigation scope, equipment usage, or pricing decisions during the emergency response itself. Communication from Roto-Rooter throughout the billing process was inconsistent and contradictory. I received multiple notices threatening collections activity, liens, and a Notice to Owner while the invoice was still actively under review and while the insurance company was in the process of issuing payment for the undisputed amount. This created a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress during an already difficult home restoration process. My advice to anyone using emergency mitigation services is: - Don't use this company - Ask detailed questions about billing and insurance negotiations upfront especially as RotoRooter is known to "overcharge" insurance and when they don't pay make it the liability of the homeowner - Request itemized documentation early - Understand exactly what you are signing regarding payment responsibility - Be prepared for potential disputes between mitigation vendors and insurance reviewers I understand emergency mitigation work is expensive and time-sensitive, but I do not believe homeowners should be placed in the middle of prolonged billing disputes between vendors and insurers while simultaneously facing threats of collections or liens before the insurance review process has fully concluded. The only bright spot were the technicians who actually did the work were professional, responsive, and seemed to know what they were doing.

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling. Especially as Koren had so many examples of the type of elaborate communication and oversight we would have at every stage of the process.

Michelle came out and gave a very thorough quote. She was fantastic. Answered all my questions, left me feeling confident that they knew what they were doing and could not only fix all the problems the previous contractor had caused but also go above and beyond to do all the things we had hoped we'd get originally. She worked with me on every little detail and gave great advice throughout. Michelle knows what she is doing and got me a quote that was crystal clear and very reasonable. Daniel ran the job and was fantastic as well. He had great insights, let me nag him about every possible question I could come up with, was flexible if I had any changes of heart about this or that, extremely easy to work with. All of his subs were top notch, which I can say as a business owner in the construction field myself is extremely rare. Plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tile work, all were fantastic. He's surrounded himself with great people that get the job done right the first time. They didn't bat an eyelash at the art deco tile or the smart valves or any other unusual items I sent their way, they knocked it out with ease. And lastly Koren worked with me on any project details/paperwork that I needed. Was very responsive to everything I brought to him as I looked for assurances that I wouldn't have the same experience I had with the last folks. A very easy to work with company all around. I will be using these guys for future projects because the price is right, the quality is fantastic, and most importantly were willing to entertain any weird ideas I had. Your home is one of those things that has to be just right for you, and they made sure the bathroom remodel turned out just right for me. Would recommend them to anybody, and I'm a picky OCD guy, so that's saying something. Thanks again, ATX Remodeling!
